Odisha to undergo lockdown for 14-days starting from May 5!
Earlier this week, the Union Government said, there will be no lockdown in the country and directed the states and Union territories to impose local restrictions to tackle the virus spread.Days after the directives, the Odisha government announced a 14-day lockdown on Sunday. The lockdown will come into effect from May 5 and will last till May 19. The government issued an official order in this regard.
To see that people won’t face any issues, the government permitted the purchase of essential items between 6 am to 12 PM. However, people should buy these items in shops that are within a radius of 500 meters from their houses.On the other hand, people are directed to purchase only medical items during the weekends. In the same period, they can avail only the medical services.
However, the lockdown will not apply to people, who will be part of the by-election works in the Pipili Assembly constituency. The election personnel will be allowed to exercise their duties.”The lockdown is primarily aimed at regulating movement of common people. No restriction has been imposed on goods carriers,” the order issued by the Odisha government on the lockdown reads.
Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, the two Telugu states are under the restrictions already. Odisha now joined the list of States/ Union Territories to impose restrictions to fight the pandemic spread.
Current season of the IPL to be stopped midway!
After affecting several fields and sectors, the ongoing second wave of novel Coronavirus has hit the current season of the Indian Premier League(IPL). The list of people leaving the tournament is going up with each day passing.From players to empires, several people are leaving the ongoing IPL season, one after the other for various reasons. Australian players Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa have already left Australia and a few umpires have also opted out of IPL.
A few other Australian players are also expected to leave the tournament as the Australian government has issued new rules restricting the flight services from India. More and more players are expected to leave the tournament, going by the Covid-19 scare.
If the same happens, the IPL tournament is likely to be canceled mid-way. The final match of IPL will be played on May 30. The tournament will be played for nearly one month.These developments are raising doubt on the conduction of the remaining edition of the current edition. A section of former cricketers and crickets are asking what’s the reason behind going for the IPL when the country is battling the Covid-19 outbreak.

However, Tollywood faced a big blow with the second wave of Covid-19.
A few films have postponed their releases given the Covid-19 scare. Despite the Covid-19 effect big stars have announced their next projects and blocked the seasons for the release.The much-awaited combination of Superstar Mahesh Babu and Matala Mantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas have joined forces for the third time after 11 long years. The makers of the untitled film have blocked Summer, next year for the release and the team will hit the floors soon. The last time, the duo worked for Khaleja in 2010.
Young Tiger NTR okayed a film with Koratala Siva. After completing RRR, Koratala Siva will direct NTR for the project tentatively titled NTR 30. The makers are in plans to make it ready for a summer release. The official announcement from the makers was made and the shoot will commence soon.
Pan-Indian star Prabhas is busy shooting two projects Salaar helmed by KG.F fame Prashanth Neel and Adipurush. Both the films are expected to have a theatrical release for the summer season, next year.Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata is expected to hit the theatres for the Sankranthi season, next year. Once the shootings are resumed, the team is expected to complete the balance shooting.
Power Star Pawan Kalyan, who is riding high on the success of recent outing Vakeel Saab will be seen next in the Krish directorial period drama ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. The combo might be released for the Sankranthi season next year.

Actress responds to fake news of her abortion, calls these reports ‘Sad’

Most of the time, celebrities maintain their silence on the gossip and fake news won’t respond to the rumors.A gossip on Goa beauty Ileana D’Cruz surfaced claiming that she got pregnant. Unlike most celebrities, Ileane has spoken about fake news and claimed all these reports as fake news.
Ileana D’Cruz gave an interview to a leading Bollywood website recently. In the interview, she said few fake stories involving her have appeared on media outlets claiming that she got pregnant and went for an abortion.’There have been a few fake news stories about me. There was one where apparently I was pregnant and had an abortion. It is kind of sad, honestly, that people actually wrote stuff like that. It was bizarre,’ Ileana D’Cruz said.
These media reports also claimed that Ileana had committed suicide and the news was announced by her maid. Talking about this, the actress said the news is fake and said she doesn’t have any maid.This is not the first time, Ileane became the target of fake news. Back in 2018, several media reports are abuzz that Ileana got pregnant. As a response to the reports, Ileana posted on Instagram that she was not pregnant.

Leading music composer, singer, and performer rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, who gave a recent hit with ‘Seetimar’ got much needed attention in B town. The music director is becoming the next best choice for Hindi film makers presumably for his potential In delivering hit numbers.
The buzz is that DSP already composed two songs for the comedy caper. One song is a dance number and the other one is a romantic love song. Pradeep Machiraju’s father dies due to COVID-19
The second wave of Covid is spreading at an alarming rate in India and abnormally high number of fresh cases and deaths are being recorded in the country every day.
Coming to the topic, widely popular Telugu anchor, Pradeep Machiraju’s father Panduranga Machiraju has died due to Covid-19 infection.
Reportedly, Panduranga breathed his last yesterday night as his medical condition deteriorated after contracting the virus.
