Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has issued a stern warning to actor and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan over his recent controversial remarks.
Pawan Kalyan had claimed that during the time of united Andhra Pradesh, the people of Telangana had cast a “naradishthi” on the greenery of the Konaseema region, suggesting this contributed to the state’s eventual bifurcation. Responding to these “naradishthi remarks,” Minister Komatireddy stated that Pawan Kalyan had spoken without proper awareness and insulted the people of Telangana. He emphasized that the government would not tolerate attacks on the state’s honour.
Komatireddy made it clear that unless Pawan Kalyan issues an immediate apology, his films will not be allowed to release in Telangana. Even if an apology is made, screenings might be limited to just a day or two.
