The Central Government is implementing a program called BharatNet to make quality Internet services available across the country. As part of this, it is doing its part to provide quality internet to the states.

Many states, including AP, are reaping the benefits of this project and are undertaking various other initiatives. The NITI Aayog has lauded the program being implemented by the YCP government in AP.

CM Jagan tweeted about the efforts being made by his government to provide quality internet along with digital libraries in AP.

In this, CM Jagan said that he was setting up digital public libraries in the spirit of the BharatNet project and was trying to make quality internet services available in every village. It seems like Jagan is following the footsteps of Chandrababu Naidu, who used to talk about the internet services available in the rural areas.

AP State Election Commission Commissioner, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar gave a shock to Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani. The SEC has issued ‘Show-Cause’ notices to Minister Kodali Nani.

The decision was taken against Kodali Nani after he made derogatory remarks against the SEC. The SEC has directed to give an explanation in person or through a representative. He said that if no explanation is given, serious action will be taken against Kodali Nani.

The SEC alleged that Kodali Nani made malicious statements to tarnish the reputation of the commission. The ‘Show-Cause’ notices issued by the SEC stated that the comments made by Kodali Nani at the press conference should be immediately withdrawn.

Bollywood action hero John Abraham for the very first time is starring in a double role in Milap Milan Zaveri’s Satyameva Jayate 2. Divya Khosla Kumar will share the screen space with John in the action drama. The makers released another poster today online wherein the film is ready for grand release on 13th May, Eid 2021.

The movie now will release one day early ahead of the Eid 2021 and is said to clash with Salman Khan’s Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai. “This EID it’s SATYA vs JAY as LADENGE iss SAAL, Dono BHARAT MAA KE LAAL! #SatyamevaJayate2 releasing this EID on 13th May 2021,” posted John on twitter. Former Tirupati MLA Sugunamma made sensational remarks on Tirupati sitting MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy. She said that her granddaughter BV Keerthi came to Tirupati last October after completion of her higher education.

Like her grandfather, she competed as a corporator in the 18th Division with the intention of serving the people. She shed tears by saying that the ruling party leaders were looking to arrest Keerthi on illegal case charges.

Sugunamma announced that Keerthi would continue her fame as her political successor. Sugunamma’s husband Venkataramana won as Tirupati MLA in the past from the Congress. In 2014, he contested from the TDP and won.

Sugunamma won the by-election in 2015 with the death of her husband. She contested again in the 2019 elections and lost to Bhumana Karunakar Reddy by a margin of 708 votes.

Young and talented filmmaker Tharun Bhascker took his own sweet time to finalize his third project, despite scoring a decent hit with his second film Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi.

Tharun has apparently locked Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for his next project.

Chaitanya is impressed with Tharun’s script and gave his nod to the project almost immediately. The duo is said to be excited about working with each other for the first time.

This as-yet-untitled project will be officially announced very soon and more details about the principle star cast and crew will be unveiled in the next few weeks.

Previously, Tharun was supposed to work with Venkatesh Daggubati for his third project but things did not work out as planned and the project was scrapped.

Tharun was quick to react and he approached Chaitanya with his script and the latter came on-board for the project.

Anasuya’s ‘Thank You Brother’ Trailer: A peculiar thriller

Happening TV host and actress, Anasuya surprised many as she flaunted her baby bump in the first look poster of her upcoming film, Thank You Brother. The poster itself suggested that the film has a peculiar plot and the trailer that was released today proves the same.

Anasuya is seen as a typical pregnant lady who is close to labor. She gets stuck in an elevator with a young lad, played by the male lead Viraj Ashwin. Things go haywire after the elevator malfunctions and both Anasuya and Viraj are stuck in it. This is the core plot of the film, as shown in the trailer. The visuals shown in the middle are a bit confusing and incoherent though.

This surely is a unique and intriguing storyline and it shows a lot of promise.

Anasuya has been starring in author-backed roles of late she seems to have bagged another meaty role in Thank You Brother.

Ramesh Raparthi is directing the film and Magunta Sarath Chandra Reddy, and Tharaknath Bommi Reddy are producing it. Guna Balasubramanian is composing the music.

Rebel Star Krishnam Raju has been a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party for a long time now, and even served as a Union Minister during the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

In the recent years, he has not been that politically active, but he is still considered to be one of the most senior members of the party, and also a very loyal person.

According to the latest reports, Krishnam Raju might be given the post of the governor of Tamil Nadu very soon, and the official confirmation of this news is expected to be out shortly.

The actor turned politician had expected to be given a Union Ministry, but being given the post of the governor of a state is a better bargain indeed.

Krishnam Raju started his political career in Congress, in 1991, as a candidate from Narasapuram. In 1998, he shifted to BJP, and contested in the elections from Kakinada, and won with a staggering majority.

He also became a member of the advisory committee of the Information and Broadcasting ministry.

During the mid-term elections in 1999, he once again contested from Kakinada and once again won.

Following his victory, Krishnam Raju was made the BJP parliamentary party whip in Lok Sabha, and was given a Union Ministry in 2001.

Krishnam Raju will be the governor for the state fo Tamil Nadu, following the term of Banwarilal Purohit, who was made the governor of Tamil Nadu in 2017.

‘Shashi’ is a movie directed by Srinivas Naidu starring Adi Saikumar as the hero. R.P. Produced by Verma, C. Ramanjaneyulu and Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao, the film is all set to release on the 19th of this month. The film cast attended the pre-release event on 16th on this occasion in the city.

Rashi Singh, who is female lead role in the film, shared an interesting about how she bagged the opportunity. She said, “It was while telling Shashi’s story that I instantly believed in director Srinivas. No workshops were done for this film. No training in acting. Because acting comes naturally to me. I am a natural actress”.

“I wanted to be an actress from a young age. I did a commercial ad when I was 14 years old. I worked as an air hostess later at Indigo Airlines to support my family. I quit a year later and tried for acting opportunities. The first film I acted in was ‘Gem’ and the second was ‘Shashi’. However, my second film ‘Shashi’ is coming out soon. I did a homely character named Sunita in this movie”, added Raashi Singh.

Komatireddy Venkata Reddy is one of those people who is proclaiming that he is at the top when it comes to having the possibility of being the top contender for the TPCC post, and he has been regularly visiting Delhi, to meet with the high command, and finalise his position.

While Venkata Reddy is still in the process of finalising his position as the PCC Chief, his brother, MLA Rajagopal Reddy made some very interesting political statements, with respect to both the brothers.

He said that he is planning to join the BJP very soon, as BJP has a very bright future in Telangana, and at the same time, he also said that the Congress party is slowly fading away, despite the fact that his brother is one of the top contenders for the post of PCC Chief.

What is interesting to note is that Rajagopal Reddy entered politics under his brother’s mentorship, and both the brothers have dealt with every single political matter in their careers very closely.

Both of them even take political decisions, after consulting with the other, and the coordination that they both have is public knowledge.

With Rajagopal Reddy now slamming the Congress party, and saying that he will join the BJP very soon, several speculations have started to spread around in the Telangana political circles, about Venkata Reddy’s inclination towards joining the BJP as well, in case he is not given the post of the PCC Chief.

A few months ago, both the brothers had even met with the BJP Telangana members and made some major demands to join the BJP.

However, these demands were not fine by the Telangana BJP members, which is why nothing was materialised back then. With the BJP now gaining prominence in the state, the demands of the Reddy brothers are said to have changed, which is why they are once again considering joining the BJP.
