వైఎస్ షర్మిల తెలంగాణలో పార్టీ ఏర్పాటుపై కీలక ప్రకటన చేశారు. ఖమ్మంలో సమరశంఖం పూరిస్తామని.. ఏప్రిల్ 9న లక్షమందితో ప్రకటన చేయనున్నట్టు ఆమె ప్రకటించారు. లోటస్ పాండ్ లో ఖమ్మం నేతలతో సమావేశమైన అనంతరం ఆమె మాట్లాడారు. తెలంగాణలోని సమస్యలపై మాత్రమే తాను పార్టీ పెడుతున్నట్టు ప్రకటించారు. తాను ఎవరికీ బీ పార్టీ కాదని తెలిపారు.
తాను టీఆర్ఎస్ లేదా బీజేపీ వదిలిన బాణం కాదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. పార్టీ ఏర్పాటుపై విధివిధానాలను ఖమ్మం నేతలకు వివరించారు. ఈసందర్భంగా షర్మిలను ఖమ్మం జిల్లాలోని పాలేరు నుంచి పోటీ చేయాలని అభిమానులు కోరారు. మరోవైపు షర్మిల పార్టీపై మాజీ ఎంపీ జేసీ స్పందిస్తూ ప్రస్తుతం ఆమె వార్మ్ అప్ చేస్తోందన్నారు. పార్టీలో ఆమెకు సముచిత స్థానం ఇస్తే సరిపోయేదని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
