Exclusive: Nandamuri hero to remake super hit Malayalam film
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is yet to officially announce his upcoming project but rumors are rife that he is starring in a film titled Ravana, in which he be playing demon king Ravanasura. Debutante Malladi Vasishta is said to be at the helm for the project.The latest we hear is that Kalyan Ram is all set to join hands with KV Guhan in the near future.
Kalyan Ram and Guhan previously worked together for 118 and they are planning to collaborate again for another suspense thriller.Interestingly, Guhan has proposed to remake super hit Malayalam film Anjaam Pathira and Kalyan Ram gave his nod to the same.
Anjaam Pathira is a suspense thriller in which the protagonist, a criminologist helps the police department to track down a serial killer. The film was a big hit in Kerala.Now, Kalyan Ram and KV Guhan are planning on taking the Telugu remake of Anjaam Pathira onto the floors. The project will be officially announced very soon.
Inside Talk: Rakul in no mood to support her brother’s film
Aman Preet Singh, the brother of noted Tollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh made his debut with Thera Venuka, an action drama which released a couple of days ago.Poor promotions resulted in literally zero buzz for the film and its poor word of mouth did not help the cause either.
Interestingly enough, Rakul Preet Singh did not show any interest in promoting her brother’s debut Telugu film.Rakul, along with her family members watched Thera Venuka in a multiplex theater in Hyderabad recently but she did not tweet or share any post about the film.
Rakul seems to have opted to stay away from the film after learning that it would perform poorly at the box office. Even the makers did not plan any aggressive promotions for reasons best known to them.
On the work front, Rakul is working on Nithiin’s Check and she recently wrapped up Krish’s rural drama which has Vaishnav Tej in the lead role.
PM Modi Calls Vaccine Approval For Medical Use A Decisive Turning Point
After reviewing the data submitted over the safety offered by the vaccines developed by two Indian pharma firms the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) approved two vaccines for emergency use.
The DCGI gave its nod for the vaccines developed by Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech for emergency use of vaccines in India with some restrictions.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Indian pharma companies for getting approval for the vaccines from the DCGI.In a series of tweets, Narendra Modi congratulated the hard work of scientists and innovators and called the vaccine approval as a decisive turning point. He also thanked the frontline workers, sanitation workers, and all Corona warriors
“A decisive turning point to strengthen a spirited fight! DCGI granting approval to vaccines of @SerumInstIndia and @BharatBiotech accelerates the road to a healthier and COVID-free nation. Congratulations India. Congratulations to our hardworking scientists and innovators,” Modi’s tweet reads.
“It would make every Indian proud that the two vaccines that have been given emergency use approval are made in India! This shows the eagerness of our scientific community to fulfil the dream of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat, at the root of which is care and compassion.” he tweeted.
As the DCGI approved the vaccines developed by two pharma companies, the vaccine is expected to roll out very soon. In the first phase, the centre is aiming to vaccinate 3 crore Indians.Out of the three crore beneficiaries, one crore healthcare workers will be vaccinated, while the other 2 crore beneficiaries will be frontline workers. The vaccine drive is expected to start soon.

Hyderabad Continues To Shines On As The Vaccine Capital, Says KTR
During the tough times of the novel Coronavirus posing a serious threat, the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) gave its nod for the emergency use of vaccines, Covishield and Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin. The vaccines were approved with some restrictions.TRS working President and IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao aka KTR heaped praises on the Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech after the vaccine developed by the firm got DCGI’s approval.
He took to the microblogging site Twitter to congratulate the multidimensional biotechnology company. He has also congratulated Bharat Biotech Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Krishna Ella, and the time of Scientists involved in this.
“Many Congratulations to Dr. Krishna Ella, Suchitra Ella & the entire team of scientists of BharatBiotech on getting DCGI approval for Covaxin. Hyderabad continues to shines on as the vaccine capital because of the pursuit of excellence of scientists & innovative entrepreneurs,” KTR’s tweet reads.
Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech joined hands with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) – National Institute of Virology (NIV) to indigenously develop the Covaxin vaccine.The second vaccine approved by the DCGI is Covishield developed by the Pune-based Serum Institute of India. The SII collaborated with Oxford University and pharma major AstraZeneca
The vaccine doses developed by both firms are expected to be rolled out very soon. The official statement on the vaccine rollout is expected to come in a couple of weeks.
Covid-19Vaccination: Why The Kids Are Barred From Taking Vaccines?
After the United States Food and Drug Administration gave its nod, the US administration has started the vaccination program. As part of the first phase, more than a million US nationals were vaccinated.
Two US-based pharma giants Pfizer and Moderna who got the nod from the FDA have dispensed the vaccine doses for the vaccine drive. However, the vaccine doses were not given to the children.
The reason for this is, the vaccines developed by the pharma giants are not advised for the children as the volunteers on whom the vaccines were tested are above the age group of 18.Teenager volunteers were not picked by the pharma companies during the clinical trials of the vaccine. So there is no substantial evidence to prove how it works on the children.
It is also said that compared to adults, the positive percentage of the Covid-19 is very less in children. The positive rate of Covid-19 in kids is said to be only half of the rate in adults.It has been widely reported that the US-based biotechnology company Moderna is gearing up to start clinical trials of the vaccine on children between the age group of 12-17. The pediatric clinical trials are expected to start very soon.

Union Government Comes Up With Good News For Central Govt employees On Disability Compensation
In the New Year, the union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi came up with a piece of good news for the central government employees, which will give them a huge sigh of relief.
The union government announced that the “Disability compensation†will be extended for the central government employees. Employees who get disabled in the line of duty during their service and get retained despite the disablement are eligible for the compensation.
Minister of State for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region and Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office; Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions; Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space Jitendra Singh issued a notification in this regard.
Talking about the new notification, Jitender Singh said, the main motto of the government is to make sure that the Government servants won’t face issues despite becoming pensioners.
The union government has taken the problems faced by the employees and changed the previous rules which claim that employees appointed on or after 1.1.2004 under the National Pension System (NPS) will not get any benefits.
As another development, the government has amended the rules to provide a pension for the family of the deceased employees who lost their lives with less than 7 years of service.

Mexican Doctor Admitted To Hospital after taking Pfizer vaccine dose!
The United States, the worst-affected nation globally with the novel Coronavirus outbreak has started the vaccination program to vaccinate the public has started earlier in December, last year.As part of the vaccination drive, a Mexican doctor who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine reportedly developed seizures and other symptoms and was hospitalized.
According to the reports, the Mexican authorities have confirmed the development and said, they are examining the case of the doctor on why she developed symptoms.After the doctor faced symptoms like seizures, skin rash, and difficulties in taking a breath she was said to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) unit a hospital in Nuevo Leon state.
The Mexican Health Ministry is said to have confirmed the condition of a 32-year-old doctor Encephalomyelitis, which is a condition of inflammation of the brain and spinal cord.However, it is said that the doctor has a history of allergic reactions, which is why she developed symptoms of seizures, skin rash, and difficulties in taking a breath.
The Health Ministry went on to say that no allergic reactions were reported so far and the clinical trial and the vaccination program didn’t report any such inflammation.

To everyone’s surprise, he has decided to shift his focus to Bollywood and make a debut there.Rather than going for a straight film, he is playing a safe game by opting to remake Prabhas starer Chayrapathi in Hindi. V.V. Vinayak is helming the intense action drama.
Famous Producer Jayantilal Gada is bankrolling the project under his Pen India Limited production house. To match the tastes of the Bollywood audience, many changes were made to the original script.Now what we hear from the grapevine is, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas made a three-film deal with Pen India Limited and the remake of Chatrapathi is said to be a part of the deal. The Young hero is said to have charged a whooping Rs 35 crore for the three-movie deal.
Chatrapathi remake is expected to hit the floors in the mid of February. More details of the cast and crew are awaited. The likes of Kiara Advani and Jahnvi Kapoor are in consideration for the female lead role.
Young Director Locked For Thala Ajith!
Young director Karthik Naren made an impressive debut in Kollywood with critically acclaimed Dhruvangal Pathinaru. Critics lauded Karthik Naren for choosing a crime thriller as his debut. The way he handled the subject made many heads turn.
After making an impressive debut, he went for a suspense drama for his second project, Naragasooran, which features noted stars like Aravind Swamy, Shriya Saran, Sundeep Kishan, Aathmika, and Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead roles.
However, due to alleged disputes between director and producer, Naragasooran’s release went on to delay. The film was supposed to get released in 2018.Now, what we hear from the film circles is, Karthik Naren approached Thala Ajith with an interesting subject, and Ajit is also said to have liked the subject very much.
Ajith who is impressed with the storyline is said to have asked Naren to work on the script and come with a full bound script. Naren was surprised after getting a call from Ajith’s office that Thala likes the project.It is said that the formal announcement of the untitled project will be made after Naren narrates the final version of the script. The shoot kickstarts once Ajith completes Valimai shooting.
Satyadev joins hands with Bluffmaster director again
Young actor, Satyadev has multiple films, including Thimmarasu, and Gurthunda Seethakalam in the pipeline and he has already given his nod for yet another project.
Satyadev will be joining hands with Gopiganesh Pattabhi for his next project which was officially announced today. The duo had previously collaborated for Bluffmaster which turned out to be a hit on the small screens. They are coming together again now.
Titled Godse, this film will be an action-packed thriller and the title poster of the same was unveiled a short while ago.Satyadev is seen with thick beard and moustache in the poster and it has an intense vibe to it. We can also see a powerful assault rifle in the background, suggesting this film will be high on action.
