Gone are those days when sneezes were followed by ‘Bless you’, instead a little cough or a sneeze at this time is as bad as espionage, thanks to coronavirus. Jokes apart here is an incident where people started worrying about Telangana minister KTR, for his ‘flu symptoms’.

KTR attended textile park inauguration at Siricilla yesterday and he’s seen wiping his probably running nose and felt discomfort throughout the event there. Many seem to be worried about why KTR is showing the symptoms of the flu and the silent speculations began about if is due to his recent visits to several outbreak areas in GHMC.

One of the KTR’s well-wishing followers on Twitter said he was disturbed to know that KTR appeared to be down with flu symptoms. His tweet read that KTR has been a COVID Warrior since the virus engulfed and asked the leader to reassure the public about his health.

Well, putting a period to all those worries and rumors, KTR clarified it loud and clear, that it was just an ‘allergic cold’ he developed during his visit to Siricilla but did not want to cancel the visit as it would inconvenience many people.

Saying that he had been struggling from the allergy for many years, KTR cleared the air also saying that he is perfectly well now and also thanked the people who expressed the concern. KTR also apologized for any inconvenience he may have caused unintentionally.

Modi Announces 20 Lakh Crores Package & Lockdown 4.0

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the nation regarding the pandemic, number of cases and tried to boost the morale. In a major announcement, the PM announced ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ (Mission Self-Reliant India) a mammoth special economic package with Rs 20 Lakh Crore to the people of the country.

PM Modi announced the helicopter money package which is 10 percent of the country’s GDP and assured of assisting all sections of people with it, including the migrants and farmers. Modi affirmed that the special package will uplift the land, labor, and liquidity.

Modi said that India has been fighting coronavirus from four months and many lost their near and dear to this epidemic. The PM tried to induce strength in people by saying that the whole world is fighting the same and we should be determined and should not lose the spirit.

Modi assured that this special economic package is to support and strengthen the country’s small and medium scale industries. Further details about the Aatma Nirbhar Abhiyaan package will be revealed by Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman from tomorrow.

Speaking about the necessity and message to the nation brought by the outbreak, Modi said that India was not producing even one PPE kit in the beginning and now we have lakhs of masks and PPE kits manufactured within the country.

Lockdown 4.0

PM Modi also announced Lockdown 4.0. Though the PM did not divulge many details about the same now except that it is different from the three implemented earlier, he said they will be out before 18th May.

Yesterday, one of Tollywood’s most eligible bachelors Rana Daggubati pulled off a big surprise by making his relationship with his longtime girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj official. Rana took to his Twitter and tweeted, “And she said yes.”

Expressing happiness with Rana’s decision, his father Suresh Babu revealed in an interaction with the Times of India that both Rana and Miheeka have known each other for a long time and that both the families are very happy for them. The senior producer also opened up about the couple’s wedding.

Suresh Babu confirmed that Rana and Miheeka will tie the knot this year and that even though both the families are planning for a December wedding, the D-Day could be much earlier too.

It is learnt that the wedding will take place in his private villa in the outskirts of the city. Police have given permission.

Restricting the guests to 30 members including close families of the groom and bride, the families have decided to maintain strict social distancing. Nikhil wants to set a perfect example by doing the wedding by following the physical distance and all the guests are instructed to wear masks. The wedding will be done as per Hindu traditions with all rituals.

Dr Pallavi Varma is a doctor by profession. She hails from Bhimavaram of Andhra Pradesh. The couple engaged on Feb 1st this year. The couple met through common friends. As they get along well as friends, cupid struck between them sooner. Nikhil took the girl to Goa and proposed her. The girl immediately accepted his proposal. The couple took it to their respective families and got their approval.

A couple of weeks ago, highly talented actor Irfan Khan breathed his last and left this world permanently, leaving a lot of films in his memory. But not just films, even in real life, the actor has done lots of good work. As a tribute to the work done by him, a neighbourhood as now changed their area’s name.

Near the village of Igatpuri in Maharashtra, actually Irfan Khan has built farmhouse years back. But then the has come to know that the surrounding habitat is not even having proper electricity and the villagers are suffering from poverty as well.

In order to change their lives, Irfan is said to have provided them with electricity, built a school and also gave computers to the poor students to learn new things. Also, the actor donated an ambulance to the village such that any medical emergency could be dealt with easily.

As a tribute to the help done by the versatile actor, the villagers have named that neighbourhood as Herochi Wadi. That means “neighbourhood of a hero” in Marathi langauge. Also they are said to be planning to install a staute of the actor in their locality once the lockdown gets lifted.
