The makers have already impressed audiences with the title glimpse and the first single, both of which received a strong response. Adding to the buzz, the team has now announced an update about the second single.

Titled “Puppy Shame”, the song composed by Vivek & Mervin is set to release on August 8th. Promised to be a fun and peppy number, the song’s poster shows Ram laughing at someone who fell down, with a theatre crowd joining in the fun.

Saira Shakes Bollywood Box Office with ₹500 Crore Record

Share

This year, the Bollywood film Saira shook the box office, surprising even the stars with its record-breaking collections. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film stars Ahan Pandey and Anit Padda in lead roles. Marketed as a love-filled romantic entertainer, Saira captured the hearts of the B-town audience, outperforming even big-star films and setting new box office records.

Released without much prior hype, the film resonated strongly with the youth and B-town cinema lovers, gradually building momentum toward becoming a blockbuster. In just a month and a half since its release on July 18, Saira crossed the ₹500 crore mark, creating a sensational record. The film continues to screen in select theaters across Bollywood.

While Saira follows a conventional love story with nothing particularly new in the narrative, its timely release and fresh appeal made it extremely popular with audiences who had been craving youthful, romantic entertainers. Its box office performance stunned even industry insiders, proving the power of well-timed releases.

Mohit Suri, the director of Saira, is reportedly working on another love story featuring Kartik Aryan and Shreya Sharan. Although the media speculates it could be Aashiqui 3, there has been no official confirmation. Fans are already comparing it to the previous Aashiqui films and wondering if the new project can replicate the massive success of Saira.

With Saira crossing ₹500 crore, it has set a rare benchmark in Bollywood, especially during a period when box office collections have been inconsistent. The film has brought significant profits to Yash Raj Films. There was some discussion about a Telugu remake of Saira, but updates remain quiet for now. Whether a Telugu adaptation will happen remains to be seen.

Share

In recent times, several actresses have made successful comebacks, proving their talent and charisma all over again. Among them, some have changed their look so drastically that they are barely recognizable, while others continue to mesmerize audiences with the same beauty and fitness that first made them popular. One such example is Sridevi Vijay Kumar, who recently made a comeback with Nara Rohith’s Sundarakanda, captivating everyone with her charm.

Now, Shreya Sharan has also joined this list. At 42, she continues to amaze audiences with her elegance and beauty, maintaining the same allure that she had when she first entered the film industry. She stands out not just for her looks but also for the way she competes with younger actresses, sharing glamorous photos and grabbing attention with every opportunity.

Recently, Shreya has been busy growing her social media presence while sharing stunning pictures on Instagram. In one of her latest posts, she wore a red silk saree, elevating her charm even further. Fans have flooded the comments, praising her fiery presence and calling her look “spicy and stunning.” These photos have quickly gone viral across social media platforms.

Currently, Shreya Sharan is seen in the film Mirai, starring Young Hero Teja Sajja. Scheduled to release on September 12, Shreya plays a key character named Ambika, a powerful mother figure. Her role is said to be emotionally intense and pivotal in highlighting the emotional journey behind the superhero’s story in this sci-fi action-adventure.

Shreya first caught everyone’s attention with Rajamouli’s RRR and subsequently appeared in films like Retro, Music School, Kabza Drishyam 2, and Gamanam. She is now riding a wave of continuous opportunities, proving that her talent and screen presence remain as impactful as ever.

“Indian Students Shift Toward Europe Amid US Visa Delays

Share

Indian students’ overseas education preferences are undergoing a significant realignment in 2025, as policy shifts and visa hurdles in traditional destinations prompt a wider exploration of opportunities in Europe.

While the US, UK, Canada, and Australia—the so-called “Big Four”—remain the top choices, nearly half of prospective students are now deferring US admissions or considering alternative destinations. “Since January 2025, there has been a notable shift in Indian students’ preferences regarding travel, study, or migration destinations,” said Manisha Zaveri, Joint Managing Director of Career Mosaic. “While the Big Four continue to be popular, approximately 50% of students are now exploring alternatives, particularly European nations.”

Germany, France, and Ireland are leading this surge, with Germany alone registering a 20% rise in Indian student visa applications during the first quarter of 2025. Austria, Spain, and Portugal are emerging as attractive, affordable options offering English-taught programs, competitive tuition fees, and clearer post-study work opportunities.

The trend reflects growing discontent with US visa delays and stricter scrutiny, which Zaveri estimates have caused a 70–80% decline in Indian arrivals for the Fall 2025 semester. Many students are either deferring to 2026 or choosing countries with faster, more predictable visa systems.

The UK has regained momentum after signing the India-UK Free Trade Agreement (CETA) in July 2025, which streamlines student visas, extends post-study work to three years, and ensures mutual recognition of qualifications. Australia remains competitive with strong residency pathways and plans to expand its international student cap by 9% in 2026, adding nearly 25,000 new seats. In contrast, Canada has slipped following a 31% drop in study permits after capping new commencements at 270,000.

Zaveri highlighted three persistent challenges for Indian applicants in 2025:

stricter documentation requirements

longer visa processing times

frequent policy changes affecting work rights.

These uncertainties are driving students to seek professional guidance and diversify their choices. A secondary migration trend is also evident, with students and graduates using one country as a stepping stone to another—such as studying in Canada while targeting career opportunities in the US, or moving within Europe for better employment prospects. Australia continues to be a preferred fallback destination.

This shift fits into a broader pattern of Indian migration. Between 1990 and 2024, the Indian emigrant population nearly tripled, from 6.5 million to 18.5 million, raising India’s share of global out-migrants from 4% to 6%. According to Zaveri, this reflects the priorities of a globally mobile Indian workforce seeking clearer job pathways, stable residency options, and secure environments for both career advancement and family life.

Kavitha Alleges Rift with KTR Amid BRS Suspension

Share

A major political development shook Telangana as the BRS suspended KCR’s daughter, Kavitha, following her allegations against Harish Rao and other senior leaders of conspiring against KCR and engaging in corruption.

Addressing the media, Kavitha made strong remarks against the party’s top leadership, excluding KCR. She also revealed a personal rift with her brother, KTR, stating that he had been completely inaccessible to her.

“I texted KTR Anna 24 hours before Raksha Bandhan to tie him the Rakhi, but I received no response. It has been over 100 days since I could speak to him,” Kavitha said. While KTR reportedly made efforts to secure her bail and even went to Delhi to receive her, a communication gap seems to have existed during this period.

Insiders suggest that Kavitha was largely isolated from party activities, with limited support from even KTR. She further alleged that while Harish Rao manages TV and media coverage for BRS, KTR oversees social media, yet failed to intervene when false campaigns against her spread online.

This development highlights growing tensions within the BRS, particularly within the KCR family, and has set off intense speculation about the party’s internal dynamics.

The other is Sanjana, who appeared in films like Bujjigadu. Over the years, she has been in the public eye due to various controversies, including a previous drug-related arrest.

With these additions, Bigg Boss Telugu 9 is expected to deliver another season full of drama, excitement, and intense interactions among the contestants.

Janhvi Kapoor’s Hilarious Prank on Sister Khushi

Share

Only siblings can turn tears into laughter in an instant, and Janhvi Kapoor proved it when she played a hilarious prank on her sister Khushi Kapoor. As part of a Vogue challenge, Janhvi had to call a family member and ask what they would change about her. She picked Khushi and immediately went into full drama mode.

During the call, Janhvi pretended to break down, claiming she wasn’t a good sister and needed to change herself. Khushi, caught off guard, tried her best to console her, sounding genuinely worried. Janhvi even urged her to come home early, keeping up the act.

For a few tense minutes, Khushi believed her sister’s tears were real. She admitted she was thinking of what to say, not wanting to upset Janhvi further. The tension finally broke when Janhvi revealed it was all a prank. Relief turned into laughter and exasperation as Khushi joked, “You scared me!” before suggesting that maybe Janhvi could work on being punctual instead. What started as a fake meltdown ended as classic sibling banter, with one sister pulling the strings and the other helplessly reacting.

Ileana D’Cruz Teases a Grand Comeback in South Cinema

Share

Some stars never truly leave the screen—they just take a pause, leaving fans eagerly waiting. Ileana D’Cruz, once one of South cinema’s most prominent faces, seems to be on that path. Known for her stunning debut in Devadasu and memorable performances alongside Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, and Allu Arjun, Ileana quietly stepped away from films. Now, her recent words have stirred excitement about a potential comeback.

At a recent event, Ileana spoke candidly about life away from the limelight. She shared that she misses the thrill of film sets, the chaos of shoots, and the joy of inhabiting different characters. “I love acting, and I know fans miss me. I want to return, but first I must give my children the time they deserve,” she said, referring to her two children. Her honesty resonated deeply with fans, who have been waiting since her last Telugu outing, Amar Akbar Antony, in 2018.

Ileana emphasized she doesn’t want to rush her return. “Before I step back, I need to prepare myself, mentally and physically,” she noted. This thoughtful pause suggests that her comeback won’t be half-hearted; she aims to choose roles that do justice to her talent. While Bollywood kept her busy in recent years, her South cinema journey continues to hold a special place in fans’ hearts. With a loyal fanbase eagerly awaiting her return, Ileana’s words feel like more than a promise—they are a teaser of a bold, confident, and unforgettable return.

Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati: A Bold and Layered Role

Share

Anushka Shetty’s upcoming film Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, has already made a strong impression with its promos. The actress describes her character, Sheelavathi, as a layered and incredible role. “I’ve never played a character like this before. It pushed me beyond my comfort zone, and I’m really proud of that,” she shared.

Anushka revealed that she was immediately drawn to the story when director Krish and writer Srinivas narrated it to her. “The cultural depth of the story fascinated me. Visiting the locations, it became clear we were presenting something visually and culturally unique to audiences, which was very exciting.”

Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi: High-Octane Action Thriller Coming Soon

Share

Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming action thriller Madharaasi, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced under the Sri Lakshmi Movies banner, is set to hit screens in just two days on September 5th.

Speaking about the film, Murugadoss said, “I approach every project with the same excitement as my first film, and Madharaasi is no different. It’s a unique story that I believe will resonate with audiences everywhere.”

The director also explained the choice of title for both the Tamil and Telugu versions. “In North India, South Indians are often colloquially called Madhraasis. In this story, much of the narrative is from the villain’s perspective, and he frequently refers to the hero as Madharaasi. That’s how the title came about.”

Highlighting Sivakarthikeyan’s role, Murugadoss added, “This character is very different from anything he’s done before. He connected with the script immediately and was the perfect choice to bring the story to a larger audience, given his mass appeal.”

On the action sequences, the director revealed, “The second half is loaded with high-octane fight scenes. The confrontations between the hero and villain are choreographed to be intense and visually striking. Audiences are in for a thrilling experience.”
