Thalapathy Vijay, who has been in the headlines following the tragic stampede during his Karur rally that claimed 41 lives and left many injured, has now taken a heartfelt step to meet the victims’ families. Nearly a month after the incident, Vijay has reportedly arranged a private gathering at a resort in Mahabalipuram near Chennai, booking 50 rooms to host the bereaved families.

Vijay is personally meeting each family one by one, spending time to console them and ensure the proceedings are handled with utmost care and dignity.
This emotional outreach comes after Vijay’s political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), transferred a compensation amount of ₹20 lakh to each victim’s family through RTGS. The actor-politician’s personal involvement in meeting the families is being seen as a sincere effort to offer support and solace to those affected by the unfortunate tragedy.
Raveena Tandon Joins Suriya 46 Directed by Venky Atluri

Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon is making a grand return to Tollywood after a long hiatus. The actress, who earlier appeared in Telugu films like Bangaru Bullodu and Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda, has now joined the cast of director Venky Atluri’s highly anticipated film with Tamil superstar Suriya.
Tentatively titled #Suriya46, the film is progressing at a brisk pace, and the makers officially announced Raveena’s inclusion on her birthday. Sharing the update on social media, the team wrote:
“Wishing the ever-graceful @TandonRaveena a very Happy Birthday! – Team #Suriya46. So glad to have you on board… looking forward to an amazing journey ahead!”
The announcement delighted fans, marking Raveena’s strong comeback to South Indian cinema in a powerful role. The movie features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, with Bhavani Sre and Radhika Sarathkumar in key supporting roles.
Music for the film is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, and the team recently wrapped up an important schedule in the scenic locales of Belarus. Jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners, the film promises a grand cinematic experience.
With Venky Atluri’s stylish direction, Suriya’s pan-India stardom, and Raveena Tandon’s timeless charm, Suriya 46 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated collaborations of 2025.
Chiranjeevi Files Complaint Over AI Deepfake Videos

The Hyderabad Cybercrime Police have launched an investigation after Tollywood megastar and former Union Minister Konidela Chiranjeevi filed a complaint alleging that certain websites are circulating AI-generated and morphed pornographic videos using his name and likeness.
Based on the actor’s complaint, police have registered a case under Sections 67 and 67A of the IT Act, Sections 79, 294, 296, and 336(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and Sections 2(c), 3, and 4 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.
Chiranjeevi recently obtained an ad-interim injunction from the City Civil Court to safeguard his identity from unauthorized exploitation. In his complaint, he provided detailed information about the websites that have hosted and distributed AI-generated pornographic content falsely depicting him in obscene acts with a person named “Meenakshi” and others.
“These videos are entirely fake and created using artificial intelligence, commonly referred to as deepfake pornography,” Chiranjeevi stated, explaining that the content illegally manipulates his facial features and persona to portray him in a vulgar and defamatory manner.
The actor requested immediate criminal and technical action against those responsible for creating, uploading, and distributing the fabricated videos, stressing that the content has caused severe and irreparable damage to his reputation, dignity, and privacy.
As one of India’s most respected film personalities and philanthropists, Chiranjeevi highlighted his decades-long contributions to cinema, social causes, and humanitarian work — from healthcare and education to blood donation and disaster relief.
He emphasized that these malicious acts are a direct violation of his fundamental rights under Article 21 of the Constitution, infringing upon his privacy and dignity. The megastar also alleged a pattern of organized and malicious behavior among the websites involved and urged authorities to immediately block and remove the content, as well as trace the individuals and entities responsible for this cybercrime.
The Hyderabad Cybercrime Police are now pursuing the matter with a focus on digital forensics and platform accountability, marking one of the most high-profile cases in India related to deepfake abuse and AI-generated content misuse.
Baahubali: The Epic Cut Dominates Box Office, Disrupts New Releases

A re-release typically passes by quietly, but Baahubali: The Epic Cut is rewriting the rules — storming theatres with the energy of a brand-new blockbuster. The buzz is enormous, and for its October 31 release, tickets at leading Hyderabad theatres like Sudarshan and Bhramaramba are nearly sold out. Audiences — not just Prabhas fans but general moviegoers too — are flocking to relive the 3-hour-44-minute cinematic experience on the big screen.
This unexpected box-office wave is already shaking up release schedules. Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara team is now reportedly considering a one-day postponement, with producer Naga Vamsi planning to go full scale from November 1 instead of clashing with Baahubali. Even with confidence in their film, competing directly with Baahubali’s immense hype is seen as a major risk. Ravi Teja’s fans, who are eagerly awaiting his comeback, now find themselves facing an unplanned hurdle.
Meanwhile, Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal is also feeling the heat. His psycho-thriller Aryan, set for a simultaneous Tamil and Telugu release on October 31, now finds itself in the middle of this storm. Vishnu has been promoting the film aggressively, hoping to make a strong impression — especially after missing the spotlight when Rakshasudu was dubbed without his involvement. But with Baahubali dominating the buzz, only unanimous positive word of mouth can help Aryan hold its ground.
As it stands, the box office is turning into a three-way clash — Baahubali: The Epic Cut, Mass Jathara, and Aryan. Yet, it’s clear that Baahubali holds the first move and the strongest momentum, setting up a thrilling test of survival for the others in this unexpected Diwali wave.
Amritha Aiyer Stuns in Stylish Blue Outfit During Night Out

Amritha Aiyer, who impressed audiences last year with her performances in Hanu-Man and Bachchala Malli, seems to be taking things easy this year. While she hasn’t announced any new projects yet, she continues to keep her fans engaged with her effortless charm and style.
Recently, the actress shared a few stunning pictures from a night out with friends, and they quickly caught everyone’s attention. Dressed in a dark blue outfit, Amritha looked every bit elegant and confident. Her strapless shimmering top perfectly caught the light, while the draped skirt with a bold slit added a touch of sophistication and edge.
With her soft wavy hair, minimal yet flawless makeup, and a hint of gloss completing her look, Amritha exuded a relaxed yet classy vibe. Fans couldn’t stop admiring her natural grace and easygoing presence.
Even without a film release this year, Amritha Aiyer continues to stay in the spotlight, maintaining her connection with audiences through her effortless style and charm. Here’s hoping she picks up a new script soon — something that matches her sparkle and brings her back to the big screen in style.
Yash’s Toxic Faces Delays Amid Rumors of Creative Differences

After the massive success of the KGF series, Yash took his time before choosing his next project. Instead of rushing to capitalize on the KGF craze, the Kannada superstar opted for a long break — a move that reflected his patience and desire to pick the right story. Eventually, he surprised everyone by announcing his next venture, titled Toxic, to be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas.
Though Geetu Mohandas is known for her creative storytelling, she doesn’t yet have major commercial hits to her credit. Still, Yash placed his trust in her vision and script, turning down several big-name directors who were eager to collaborate with him. This decision initially generated buzz for being a bold and unconventional choice.
However, recent developments suggest that all may not be well with the project. Despite being in production for nearly three years since KGF 2, Toxic seems to be facing significant hurdles. Unconfirmed reports indicate that Yash is unhappy with the film’s progress and may even be considering directing the remaining portions himself.
While there is no official confirmation regarding these rumors, the continuous delays and lack of updates have raised concern among fans. Adding to that, the promo released earlier failed to make much impact, leaving many disappointed with the project’s current trajectory.
As of now, the makers have remained tight-lipped, and fans are eagerly waiting for official clarity on the status of Toxic — a film that once carried huge expectations but now finds itself surrounded by uncertainty.
Telugu Actresses Finding Bigger Success in Tamil Cinema

Take Sri Gouri Priya from Kakinada, for instance. After small roles in Telugu films, she earned attention with Writer Padmabushan and MAD. However, it was her Tamil film LOVER that truly made her a familiar name among South Indian audiences. She also appeared in Modern Love Chennai and is now gearing up for her upcoming Tamil comedy-drama Bro Code alongside Ravi Mohan.
Similarly, Saanve Meghana from Hyderabad, who made her Telugu lead debut with Pushpaka Vimanam, didn’t find much traction in Tollywood afterward. But her Tamil debut Kudumbasthan brought her notable fame. She also featured in Sai Abhyankar’s Tamil music video Vizhi Veekura, which went viral and expanded her fanbase.
Another name making waves is Maanasa Choudary, who debuted with Bubblegum in Telugu and later took on smaller roles. Her Tamil film DNA gave her much-needed recognition earlier this year, and she is now set to appear in Aaryan, an investigative crime thriller releasing on October 31.
These rising stars are part of a growing trend of Telugu actresses achieving wider fame in Tamil cinema, proving that cross-industry opportunities are helping them broaden their horizons and reach a larger audience beyond their home turf.
