#RRR Video Leak: Jr NTR Back Off From Shoot?

The plan is that Jr NTR will be taking part in a week-long shoot in Araku Valley’s reserve forest as SS Rajamouli has prepared to cane some interesting scenes of Komaram Bheem inspired ideas here. While the unit has taken permissions and went to the place to shoot, it is quite surprising to see that NTR has returned from the place just in a day.

With Tarak landing in Hyderabad today morning, a piece of news is doing rounds that the shooting of #RRR in Araku got cancelled abruptly. They say that with lots of people in the valley surrounding the shoot, and videos being shot on mobiles only to be shared on social media, #RRR team is said to have felt the need to stop the leakages. That would happen only if they shoot in a secluded and safeguarded location rather an open one.

For that reason, the team of #RRR is said to have moved to Hyderabad again, hoping that they would film the rest of the action sequence in a special set that will be erected in Ramoji Film City rather shooting in Araku and getting the content exposes. We have to see what #RRR makers will say about these gossips.

Breaking: AP cabinet approves ‘Disha Bill’

In what could be a historic and remarkable feat, the Andhra Pradesh government has approved the bill that is proposed to take serious action in rape and crime incidents against women.

The new bill suggests that the culprits in rape incidents will get death sentence if proven and such cases should be brought to justice in 21 days. The bill has been named as ‘AP Disha Act’ after the brutal rape and murder of Disha in Hyderabad outskirts.

The Indian Penal Code of section 354 is amended by the cabinet and a new clause 354-E is added to this section. This new law enables the police to investigate the rape cases in just seven days and submit the report to a FasTrack court. The trails will long for two weeks and if the crime is proved, the culprits will directly get death penalty.

The new bill also has the stuff of social media abuse against women. The first timers of such incidents would get two years jail and if repeated, it would be four years of imprisonment. Also people who sexually assault minors will serve five to seven years of jail. As per the POSCO Act sexual offenders would get only three years. The AP government has recommended to increase the punishment and cabinet approved it.

Overall, Andhra Pradesh is the first state in the country to tighten the laws to punish the crooks to decrease the crime ratio on women. This is a welcome move and should be appreciated.

Producer Doesn’t Have Funds For Hero’s Face Corrections!

Producers are spending a bomb on photo-shopping software and graphics that is exclusively used for face corrections of our Telugu cinema heroes.

This is used to remove wrinkles, eye bags and other blemishes so that our heroes look ‘smooth’ on the silver screen.

Not just for the veterans, the software and computer graphics are being used for actors who are in their forties too.

Although producers are okay with spending money on the face corrections of their heroes not everybody can afford it. Especially when the film is releasing in deficit.

A veteran actor’s upcoming film’s budget has gone overboard that the producer wasn’t able to recover the expenses yet.

He is in huge financial mess that the producer is not willing to spend few more crores on face corrections of his leading man.

We are not sure if the hero is aware of this, but his fans should prepare themselves to see the ‘original’ and ‘unedited’ version of their favorite actor in this film.

If the look of the actor doesn’t make any difference then other producers also might follow the suit and withdraw from this trend of spending so much on ‘fake’ handsomeness.

What happened to Naidu’s democratic compulsions?

Before the general elections in April this year, Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu often used to mention the term “democratic compulsions.”

He used to tell the reporters that in politics, there were two compulsions for the political parties in the state to take any decision, particularly in aligning with any other political party. They are: political compulsions and ideological compulsions.

Political compulsions make a party to decide with which party it should align with to win the elections. These compulsions depend on the situation prevailing at that time.

He used to say that the TDP had aligned with the Communist parties and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the past and with the BJP in 2014 only for political compulsions.

The JD (U)-BJP alliance in Bihar and JD (S)-Congress pact in Karnataka are also part of the political compulsions, Naidu said.

Similarly, ideological compulsions will force two like-minded parties with common ideological base to forge an alliance — like Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in Maharashtra in the past, the SP-BSP alliance in UP and NCP-Congress alliance in Maharashtra again.

Then, Naidu coined another term – democratic compulsions. He used to say that the country’s democracy was in danger due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah, as he alleged that they had systematically subverted all democratic institutions like CBI, ED, Election Commission, CAG and Income Tax department, besides influencing even judiciary.

So, he called for unity among all like-minded democratic forces like Congress, Trinamul Congress, Aam Admi Party, NCP, SP and BSP and tried to form a Maha Ghatbandhan. But, the grand alliance collapsed even before it was formed as the BJP returned to power with greater majority.

The democratic compulsions disappeared with the BJP coming back to power and Naidu’s plan falling flat.

Now, the same TDP president is making a desperate attempt to get closer to the BJP. Forgetting the past, his party shamelessly supported the BJP in getting the contentious Citizenship Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha.

By supporting the NDA government on the crucial legislation, the TDP sent a clear message that it is warming up to the BJP. Naidu wants to convey that he is repenting for walking out of the NDA last year.

So, Naidu has ignored the democratic compulsions and the only compulsion Naidu has now is political compulsion!

Jagan claims he gave post to Naidu’s mother-in-law!

Over a period of time, YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has mastered the art of delivering comic punches at his political rivals – whether it is Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu or Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan.

It was only the other day that Jagan indirectly gave a punch to Pawan saying that “some big leaders are not satisfied with one wife or two wives. They want three or even four wives.”

On Wednesday, it was the turn of Naidu to face the punch from Jagan.

He knows that the TDP president never acknowledges Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvati as his mother-in-law, though she got legally married to legendary actor and TDP founder N T Rama Rao. For Naidu, only late Nandamuri Basavarama Tarakam was his mother-in-law.

Intervening in the debate during the question hour on giving most of the nominated posts to Reddy community, Jagan reaffirmed that Andhra Pradesh was the only State in the country to provide reservations for SC, ST, BC, Minorities and Women in nominated posts and the same will be followed in Corporation Chairperson posts as well.

He gave a list of women leaders appointed as chairpersons for various corporations and the nominated posts.

“We gave a post even to Naidu’s mother-in-law Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi. He did not give her any post despite being his son-in-law,” Jagan said amidst laughter.

The chief minister brushed aside the allegations of nepotism in appointing Corporation Chairpersons, Advisors, CEOs and other nominated posts and said that there are about 160 more posts which would be filled up after the ensuing panchayat elections.

On the advisor posts where reservations were not followed, Jagan said the advisor post is of temporary nature and they are taken for their excellence in their respective fields. There need not be any affiliations or motives attached as they are experts in their chosen fields, he said.

Don’t Call Venky Mama A Multi-Starrer: Chay

Naga Chaitanya is very fortunate to feature in two giant multi-starrers- Manam with entire Akkineni family and Venky Mama with his real-life uncle Venkatesh.

Venky Mama also marks his first time association with Suresh Productions.

Naga Chaitanya says both Suresh Mama and Venky Mama are his pillar of support.

“I learnt a lot from Suresh mama as a silent observer. He involves in every aspect of filmmaking. And from Venky Mama I learnt how to behave on sets. He’s so positive that he has no haters,” says he.

The common feature between Chay and Venky is as the former says both are quiet and reserved persons.

Chay makes it clear that they didn’t plan but the project happened because it perhaps is written in his destiny.

“Suresh mama usually sends me scripts as a solo hero, but nothing was materialized. Finally, we liked the story of Venky Mama and it took long time to lock the final script,” affirms Chay adding “Story became the plus point, but I’m not the plus point to the story.”

Chaitanya states that the army officer he played in the film is the most challenging role in his career.

Chay doesn’t like calling Venky Mama as a multi-starrer.

“Please don’t treat it as a multi-starrer. I just acted alongside my uncle. I’m a big fan of him and I’ve so much respect for him.”

The film has no villains and Chaitanya informs horoscope is actually the villain of the film.

He affirmed that Samantha watched the film and she liked it thoroughly. “She connected well to the second half.”

Coming to next projects, Naga Chaitanya is presently doing Sekhar Kammula’s tentatively titled film Love story which has completed 40 % of shoot. Bangarraju is in pre-production stages. He also has a film with Dil Raju and others, but script hasn’t yet locked.

PK’s Pink Is On – A Formal Launch Tomorrow

Pawan Kalyan is all set to wear make-up again. He will be playing Lawyer Saab’s role in the official Telugu remake of cult Hindi film Pink.

Dil Raju is the producer and Sriram Venu will weild the megaphone.

Boney Kapoor who co-produced the film is Hindi and Tamil will co-produce Telugu remake with Dil Raju.

A formal pooja will be conducted tomorrow at Dil Raju’s office in Hyderabad. There’s no information on whether Pawan Kalyan will be attending the event or not.

Jagan is a leader with guts, says JC

Strange are the ways of former Anantapur MP and senior Telugu Desam Party leader J C Diwakar Reddy. Nobody knows what he speaks and what stand he will take while making political comments.

Sometimes, JC makes a scathing attack on YSR Congress party government and some other times, he takes a complete U-turn and showers praises on chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

On Wednesday, JC once again made strange comments. He described Jagan Mohan Reddy as a leader with guts who would take bold decisions on whatever he wanted to do.

He gave full marks to Jagan for his six-months rule and schemes like Arogya Sri would go a long way to benefit the people, JC said.

“I wanted to say what I felt. I don’t mind whatever our leader Chandrababu Naidu thinks about me,” JC said.

While appreciating Jagan for giving prominence to Reddys in various nominated posts, JC said Naidu could not do justice to Kammas. However, he also took pot shots at the chief minister for resorting to revenges on his political rivals.

“He is behaving more like his grandfather Raja Reddy,” he said.

Lone Jana Sena MLA embarrassing Pawan!

The only MLA of Jana Sena Party Rapaka Varaprasad representing Razole in East Godavari district, has turned out to be an enigma for party president and actor Pawan Kalyan.

On one hand, Rapaka claims that he has no intentions to change the party as was being speculated in the media and will remain with the Jana Sena; but on the other, he does not leave any opportunity to shower praises on YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

At the same time, Rapaka is hardly seen in the Jana Sena Party activities, though Pawan Kalyan is extensively touring different parts of the state to highlight the alleged failure of Jagan government.

Even when Jana Sena chief is taking up day-long deeksha on farmers’ issues, Rapaka chose to stay away from the programme on the pretext that he is busy with assembly sessions.

On Wednesday, Rapaka praised Jagan government for implementation of welfare schemes, though he said the government has been lagging behind in the developmental works.

What is more embarrassing to Pawan was Rapaka’s appreciation for Jagan for deciding to introduce English medium in government schools. He said it was not a good practice to oppose the decision.

“During the TDP regime, Chandrababu Naidu, too, tried to introduce English medium in government schools, but could not fulfil it. Now the new government has made a good decision for the poor students,” he opined.

Rapaka pointed out that many students in the past had not been able to get good jobs due to lack of English language. Now with the government’s decision, even poor students were studying in English medium. There is nothing wrong with this decision,” he said.

Rapaka’s view is exactly contrary to Pawan Kalyan’s stand, as the latter was vehemently opposing the forcible introduction of English medium in the schools.

The MLA, however, said Pawan, too, was not opposed to English medium, but only wanted both the mediums to continue.

World Famous Lover To Introduce His GFs

First look poster of Vijay Devaraonda in his ongoing film World Famous Lover was released sometime ago and it promised the film is going to be an intense emotional drama.

The film is slated for release on February 14th. Interim, the makers are planning innovative promotions for the film.

Starting from 12th of this month, first look posters of Vijay Devarakonda’s four lady loves in the film will be released on every day basis.

Aishwarya Rajesh’s look will be unveiled on 12th, followed by Izabelle Leite, Catherine Tresa and Raashi Khanna’s looks on 13th, 14th and 15th respectively. 6:03 PM is the time fixed to release all the first look posters.

In the announcement poster, we can observe four pigeons indicating four heroines in the film helmed by Kranthi Madhav.
