Sexual assault and murder of doctor Priyanka Reddy shook the nation. People are calling for capital punishment for the perpetrators. Megastar Chiranjeevi also echoed the same.
“The ghastly incidents took place in the last couple of days and atrocities on women have pained me. My heart is bleeding. I am anguished at the incident. Are we living among animals? Such criminals should be punished immediately. Justice should be served for Priyanka Reddy. I would not hesitate to call for capital punishment for that maga mrugallu,” Chiranjeevi said in a video message.
Veterinarian Priyanka Reddy was brutally raped and charred to death in Shamshabad on Thursday. He also requested women and young girls to reach out to police for assistance during odd hours and download apps.
“I urge all the girls to store 100 in your mobile and press it in emergency and download Hackeye on your smartphone to reach out to She Teams,” he suggested.
Honeytrap: K’nataka Cops find 7 Big Politicians Video On Hard Disk
Just six days left for by-polls, a honeytrap case has come to limelight involving influential people like leaders of famous political parties. Those who involved are also those who are contesting the polls, but hard luck, they are interwoven with the fresh controversy. It is reported that the Bengaluru police have a harddisk, ceased by the Crime Branch, with them which may have recordings of seven leaders in the honeytrap case.
This comes after the arrest of the kingpin Raghavendra alias Raghu, Pushpa and Pushpavathi. (who blackmailed North Karnataka MLA with explicit video). Now, the cops have the video ceased from them and it has a few detailed clippings of seven other political leaders apart from the MLA from North Karnataka. All the videos have been recording from 2017 to 2018 period.
“We are investigating the case and not much can be revealed at this stage,” said a senior investigating official. But, cops said that they also have a few photographs, WhatsApp messages, phone call details which have been exchanged between the accused and the victims. It all started with North Karnataka MLA filing a complaint stating that he got calls from Raghavendra who claimed to have videos of him with a girl. He also threatened the MLA by demanding him to pay Rs 50 crore or else would make the video viral.
The Crime Branch, after investigation, found that Raghavendra is a resident of Shivamogga and a BCom graduate. He also had a cyber-criminal history. His girlfriend is Pushpavathi, a beautician. A gang has formed with this couple and their friends like Pushpa, Rakesh and few others.
All of them would trap political leaders by recording their private moments and blackmail them. Many instances earlier showed that out of fear, some politicians even paid huge amounts to them. “One MLA has even paid Rs 45 lakh to Raghu through RTGS,” said a source.
The gang first traps MLAs with Raghu making friends with them at the Legislators Home. Later, brings Pushpa and a few other girls claiming that they are new to the city, who came for higher studies and need shelter. Meanwhile, phone numbers would be exchanged in which the girls would befriend the MLAs and offer sexual favours.
“They would book rooms in posh hotels and meet the girls there. The girls would hide cameras in their handbags or sunglasses and record the whole ‘act’. They would then send a clipping of the DVD and blackmail the leaders for money,” said the officer.
Till now, the cops have seized a hard disk, a computer, pen drives, mobile phones and hidden cameras from the gang and have submitted it to the 1st ACMM court in Bengaluru. Currently, the investigation is still on to find out if there are any other businessmen or lawmakers involved or honey-trapped by the gang.

Venky Turns Script Writer For Asuran Remake?
One of the most talked about remakes in the present times is none other than Tamil super hit ‘Asuran’ Telugu remake only. The film has Suresh Babu producing it, while Venkatesh will be seen in the lead and Srikanth Addala directs it. Here comes an interesting snippet about the movie.

On Saturday, popular Tamil actress Namitha, who’s accompanied by her husband Veerendra Chowdary, has joined BJP in presence of its party working president JP Nadda in Chennai.
Namitha, who got introduced to Telugu audiences with Venkatesh starrer ‘Gemini’, has went to entertain us with ‘Sontham’, ‘Billa’ and ‘Simha’. Earlier this year, the former beauty pageant featured in a Tamil horror comedy ‘Pottu’.
Besides Namitha, Tamil television actor Radha Ravi too switched his loyalties from AIADMK to BJP in presence of Nadda. The 67-year old actor was at the receiving end for making derogatory comments against Lady Superstar Nayanathara.
Salman angrily reacts to the Priyanka murder case
The entire nation is disturbed with the news of a 27-year old veterinarian being allegedly raped and murdered in Cyberabad. Although the cops have arrested the culprits but people cannot digest the fact that women are so fearfully unsafe in India.
While several people including celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Vijay Deverakonda have taken up to social media to express their grief, disappointment and anger over the plight of women living in India, Salman Khan too has shared his views on the case in a series of tweets.
He wrote, “JusticeFor*** These r the worst kind of shaitans disguised in the human form! The pain, torture n death of innocent women like nirbhaya n *** should now get us together n put an end to such shaitans who live among us, before any other innocent woman…n their family go through this extreme agony n loss as this has to be stopped. Earlier today, the Cyberabad Police briefed the media about the death of the veterinary doctor and said that they have arrested four men in relation to the incident.
The police said that two of the four accused were truck drivers and two of them were cleaners. According to the police, the four men allegedly raped the doctor and later set her ablaze.
