Asuran Remake: Baahubali Beauty To Come Aboard?
One of the most hyped remakes in the current times is none other than a remake of Tamil hit Asuran that has Danush in the lead. The Telugu version will feature Venkatesh in the lead, and his brother Suresh Babu confirmed that Srikanth Addala will be helming the version.
Interestingly there is a talk that the makers are actually approaching Shriya Saran to play the role of Venky’s wife in the film, which was played by Manju Warrier in the original. The role has lots of intensity, a bit of action and huge emotion surround it, that it needs someone who has that compelling screen presence. Here comes an interesting update about it.
Actually Suresh Babu is said to have felt that Anushka would do more justice to the role than Shriya. Earlier she has paired up with Venky in movies like Chintakayala Ravi and their chemistry worked out well. After Baahubali, surely Anushka has risen to a new level of stardom and acting prowess, and hence Asuran Telugu team is said to be thinking of casting her.
“Already discussions are going on with Anushka and if remuneration thing gets finalised, then she will be aboard” a source in the know shared.
Mahesh Babu And Allu Arjun Next On IT Scanner?
With almost all the star heroes demanding for a share in a project’s profits, it looks even Income Tax Department has got some leads that they should raid these star heroes along with the producers. Today, it’s quite surprising that the likes of Suresh Babu, Sitara Entertainment and Nani are being raided by IT sleuths.

On that note, they are said to have kept even Sithara’s parent company Haarika and Haasini, Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara on their next list as these producers are coming up with Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo now.
In that case, it looks like the partners of these movies, G Mahesh Babu Films and Geetha Arts (Allu Arjun in this context) are also likely to face the raid.

Can ‘George Reddy’ Really Meet This Hype?
In recent times, the only film that lived up to the hype that surrounded it is none other than Arjun Reddy. After the film’s trailer stunned everyone on Youtube and got shared widely on social media, the hype built around it, and the film lived up to. But later, many films got such boom but only they bombed at the box office.
And now, such hype could be seen around this Friday releasing movie “George Reddy” which is actually based on the real-life story of Osmania University based student leader George Reddy. The content itself stunned youths when the trailer released and slowly people liked it to the core. With Pawan Kalyan appreciating it and Chiranjeevi releasing a song from the movie, the movie got more hype.
The makers are so confident of the project that they are organising George Reddy premieres on 21st night itself. But premiering a film is a bit risky these as the movie should live up to its hype. Otherwise even before the morning show starts on the release day, the real word of mouth will be spreading. So, can George Reddy do it? Wait and watch.
Directed by “Dalam” movie fame Jeevan Reddy, George Reddy has Sandeep Madhav playing the title role and Suresh Bobbili has delivered fantastic music.
Will Jr NTR Agree For ‘Thalaivi’?
On several occasions in the past, efforts were made to convince NTR to play his legendary grandfather NT Rama Rao on screen. But NTR was reluctant to accept the offers as he believes that he cannot recreate the aura of his grandfather.
Now, the latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood circles is that, the makers of Jayalalithaa biopic ‘Thalaivi’ are trying their best to get NTR’s approval to play NTR Sr in the movie. Apparently, there are going to be a few scenes in which Jayaa interacts with the former AP CM and legendary actor, and Tarak’s role is going to be a cameo.
The film stars Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who’s reprising Jayalalithaa in the titular role. So it will be interesting to see if the Young Tiger accepts this cameo role or not. Needless to say, fans will be thrilled seeing NTR Jr as his grandpa on the big screen, of course, only if he agrees to sign the role.
Thalaivi is being produced by Vishnu Induri, who was also one of the producers of the NTR biopics, NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. AL Vijay is directing this prestigious biopic, which will release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
‘RRR’ Announces Their Cast Officially!
The team of Rajamouli’s most-awaited ‘RRR’ have revealed their foreign cast and shooting updates officially through this Twitter handle a while ago. The cast looks like a dream with some sophisticated Hollywood names included.
They roped in actress Alison Doody as Lady Scott and Ray Stevenson as Scott who are the main antagonists of the film. Welcoming both of them onboard, they tweeted, “#RayStevenson, it’s a pleasure to have you play the lead antagonist #SCOTT in #RRRMovie. Can’t wait to begin shooting with you”. Speaking of Alison, they stated, “Welcome to Indian cinema, #AlisonDoody! Had a wonderful time shooting for your first schedule… We are glad to have you play lead antagonist #LADYSCOTT.”
As said earlier, they picked new actress Olivia Morris to play Jennifer who is the love interest of NTR. The team announced that around 70% of the film is completed.
