Tollywood superstars Megastar Chiranjeevi and global star Ram Charan follow a similar regimen, as revealed by Upasana.
Upasana Konidela needs no introduction. As the wife of Ram Charan, daughter-in-law of Chiranjeevi, and Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals, she is well known to all. Alongside her family roles, Upasana is steadily progressing in her professional career. Recently, in an interview with a YouTube channel, she shared some lesser-known insights.
She revealed that her husband Ram Charan loves South Indian food, especially rasam rice. No matter which upscale restaurant they visit, Charan always checks the entire menu but ends up ordering Indian food, specifically South Indian cuisine. Upasana added that Charan insists on having Indian food at least once a day, with a strong preference for South Indian dishes.
At home, Chiranjeevi enjoys a special dosa served with pickle, which Upasana says tastes amazing. She also recalled a cute moment during her courtship with Charan in Hyderabad when she tested him by asking for a famous ice cream. Their love story is not like a typical ‘Magadheera’ style romance; instead, they understood each other deeply, fell in love, and got married.
Regarding Ram Charan’s upcoming projects, after the blockbuster ‘Game Changer,’ he is currently working on ‘Peddi’ directed by Buchibabu San. Expectations are high for this film. To prepare for his role, Charan learned the Rayalaseema dialect and underwent a significant makeover. The movie features Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine and is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026.
