First Look: Nagarjuna Dashing As Wild Dog
First look poster of Nagarjuna from his new film titled Wild Dog helmed by Ahishor Solomon is released just after the team wrapped up first shooting schedule.
The poster briefs the story behind ACP Vijay Varma being called as Wild Dog by press.
Getting under the skin of the encounter specialist Varma is Nagarjuna who is in action to conduct yet another operation at Zora House in Hyderabad.
The poster designed as a newspaper cutting image that portrays the persona and valor of ‘Wild Dog’ who’s pretty popular for killing criminals and terrorists in his operations, it specifies the incident took place on 13th March, 2009.

Mahesh And Vamsi To Go For Sittings In Switzerland
Superstar Mahesh has started the promotions of Sarileru Neekevvaru already as he has been meeting fans in the last three days for special interactive and photo-op sessions. Talk is that he met almost 10,000 fans in these three days and will be starting giving interviews now.
It is already in the know that Mahesh is actually heading for a three month holiday after he wraps the promotions and release of Sarileru Neekevvaru. As he is working without major breaks for the last 3-4 films, he’s said to have thought to take a huge break. And during the break, he is going to take care of another major thing.
While director Vamsi Paidipally has prepared a Gangster story already for Mahesh, it is heard that the complete story is not yet wrapped. For the same reason, they both will be heading to Switzerland for story sittings, and work out all the nuances of the story. Seems like Mahesh will be involving in story sittings and other aspects of filmmaking from now onwards.
Bheeshma ‘Single’s Anthem’: For all bachelors
Bheeshma starring Nithiin in the male lead role has the tagline ‘Single Forever.’ Matching the caption, the makers have come up with first lyrical video (song) which is called the ‘Single’s Anthem.’
The song is peppy upon first hearing and is likeable. What makes the song to hear it again and again, is the lyrics. The song is all about the downsides of being a bachelor and how the protagonist is desperate to have a girlfriend in his life.
Mahati Swara Sagar is the music composer of ‘Bheeshma’ and the ‘Single’s Anthem’ is a superb composition which blends contemporary with satire. Shree Mani’s lyrics are the biggest asset of the song and Anurag Kulkarni adds quirkiness with his vocals.
Being directed by ‘Bheeshma’ is a romantic entertainer and the visuals of this anthem would make an interesting watch.Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead and the film is produced by Sithara Entertainment banner.
IAS offices to sell their Amaravati plots?
When the previous Telugu Desam Party government led by N Chandrababu Naidu had chosen Amaravati as the capital city area, it caused a lot of inconvenience for the state government employees who have their families in Hyderabad.
Naidu somehow convinced them to move to Amaravati at least during the weekdays. He announced a five-day week for the employees, who used to come at 11 am on Monday and leave Amaravati by 3 pm on Friday. Gradually, they are habituated to this changed life style.
But the IAS officers continued to face troubles in shifting to Amaravati, since they too have bought huge properties in Hyderabad and their families, too, are well settled there.
Subsequently, several IAS officers decided to buy plots in Amaravati since the government started stepping up works on the capital city and anyway, it would be inevitable for them to move to the new capital.
Accordingly, many IAS officers reportedly bought plots of 500 square yards each in the prime areas of Amaravati at a cost of Rs 25 lakh. But even before they started constructing their houses, the government changed in AP and YSR Congress party led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power.
Now with the Jagan government deciding to move the executive capital to Visakhapatnam, these IAS officers are in a state of quandary, as there is no point in constructing houses at Amaravati when the capital is going to be in Visakhapatnam.
Sources said they have now dropped the plan to construct houses in Amaravati and they are now planning to sell their plots. They are expected to hold a meeting soon to take a decision on their plots.
Apparently, they are planning to ask the government to take back their plots and return them their money of Rs 25 lakh, with or without interest.
“Most of the money they had raised was through bank loans. If the government can clear their bank loans and pay the remaining money to them, they would give up their lands,” sources said.
It remains to be seen what the Jagan government will do with them.
Danayya to Spend a Bomb for Son’s Launch
Now that “Prati Roju Pandaage” has become a hit, the graph of director Maruthi rose further.Although it had its own share of issues, the film is being lapped up by the audiences for its comedy and family sentiment scenes. With this success, he is all set to begin his next with renewed energy.
Maruthi will launch popular producer DVV Danayya’s son as the hero in his next film. Maruthi is taking huge remuneration of Rs 6 crore and Danayya has given him a blank cheque to spend on the production.
The producer who will be raking in huge profits from Rajamouli’s biggest multi-starrer “RRR” doesn’t want to compromise on his son’s debut movie.
Maruthi’s task is to launch Danayya’s son securely. A top heroine will be roped in.
Amaravati Protesters Target Media Persons
The ‘farmers’ from Amaravati have been on protest for the past nine days in the capital villages. The opposition TDP too had joined them, besides Jana Sena, and they are seen everywhere in the protest.
Any form of protest on Amaravati issue had become fun for the viewers as there are the TDP and Jana Sena activists in large numbers, besides the rich pro-TDP farmers than the real farmers who have sacrificed their lands.
Ironically, these protesters have targeted the media persons on Friday at Uddandarayunipalem. The “protesters” also attacked a woman journalist, both verbal and physical.
The journalists were accused of misrepresenting the facts about their agitation in the capital villages. The “protesters” while chasing the journalists from the venue, asked them to prove whether there were paid artists in the protests.
A woman journalist became a target of these “protesters” who was rescued by fellow journalists and was sent away in a vehicle.
The protesters demanded that the media persons project the protests as that of the farmers and people, but not that of the political parties.
TRS minister announces Next CM of Telangana
It is known to everyone in the TRS party that Telangana CM KCR is promoting his son KTR extensively and snubbing his nephew Harish Rao. In the last one year or so, KTR got working president role and took the charge of Parliament elections. Even in the ministry portfolios, KTR was given important department while Harish Rao was confined to just Finance ministry.
Being the municipal minister, KTR has called for a meeting to discuss the strategies, the party should follow. Ahead of this meeting, TR minister Srinivas Goud spoke to the media and made some interesting comments. “After KCR, it will be KTR who will become the CM and it is a natural thing to happen,” said Srinivas Goud.
Further he said, “The entire nation is looking at KCR and Telangana while the youth are besides KTR. After KCR, KTR has the equivalent qualities such as huge following, taking bold decisions and people’s sentiments are so to see KTR as CM. He was there from the Telangana agitation moment and like a responsible son, he took care of his dad when the latter was in NIMS.”
The motto of TRS minsiter’s sudden praise of KTR and also announcing as next CM is yet to be known. But it is clear within the party that, KTR is going to be the next boss and there is no place for any other including Harish Rao.
KCR has New Year Gift for Kavitha?
Telangana CM KCR seems to have readied a New Year gift for his daughter and ex-MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha. Having lost from Nizamabad Parliament seat in the hands of BJP candidate D Aravind, Kavitha is not active these days in politics and also during the Bathukamma festival, she was hardly seen.
There came reports that Kavitha might contest the Huzurnagar by-election but she condemned them and added that she will stay in Nizamabad at any cost. Now KCR is planning to send her to Rajya Sabha. TRS party general secretary K Keshav Rao’s tenure in the upper house will end in April 2020. Instead of giving a second opportunity for Keshav Rao, KCR wanted his daughter to go to the Rajya Sabha.
Very recently Kavitha targeted PM Modi regarding the funds allocation to the Telangana state. KCR feels that there should be a stronger voice in Rajya Sabha for Telangana and consistently raise the issues pertaining to state in Parliament.
For now, KCR will be occupied by the municipal elections and he will take a final call on it after the polls. But there are many contenders for the Rajya Sabha seat. Will KCR prefer his daughter or pick any other name is something we need to wait till next year.

Telugu Cinema has seen some of the best works and quite a few stinks in terms of direction this year.Puri Jagannadh made a strong comeback with iSmart Shankar although it cannot be regarded as the best directorial job.Anil Ravipudi has delivered a huge hit with F2, which is also pretty mediocre in terms of filmmaking.
Some young directors like Swaroop (Agent Sai Srinivas Atreya), Vivek Atreya (Brochevarevaru ra) and Ritesh Rana (Mathu Vadalara) have done a commendable job as directors.But the director who takes away the crown of ‘The Director of The Year’ is Gowtham Tinnanuri. His Jersey is not only the best movie of the year but also one of the best films in the last decade.
He has made an authentic sports film that is high on emotions and also has the best story and well executed drama. No wonder Jersey is now being remade in multiple languages.It’s splendid work from a young director who has just made one film before this. Gowtham is all set to direct the Hindi remake of Jersey with Shahid Kapoor.
