Telangana Secretariat shifted completely!
Starting Tuesday, the Telangana secretariat begins work from a new premises – Burugula Rama Krishna Rao Bhavan, closer to the original premises.
The existing Secretariat on the western side of Hussain Sagar lake was completely vacated in the last one week and all the departments, including that of chief secretary, have been relocated to the BRKR Bhavan in the last three days, which were holidays.
The chief minister’s office and a few other important offices were shifted to Metro Rail Bhavan near Begumpet.
In any case, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao does not have the habit of going to the Secretariat and is operating only from his camp office.
So, it doesn’t make any difference for him. But for the secretariat staff and bureaucrats, it is becoming a tough task to adjust themselves in the congested BRKR building.
The opposition parties have found fault with KCR for going ahead with the secretariat shifting though the issue is still pending in the court.
“The chief minister is behaving like a dictator. Going by the way KCR is performing with the sole intention of his family’s progress, it appears there is a family rule in Telangana. There is a dictatorship in Telangana,” former MP and BJP leader G Vivekananda said.
He alleged that KCR was going ahead with the demolition of Secretariat, which was an asset of the state and built for 100 years, just because he wants to be like ‘Tughlaq’.
“We are all opposing it,” he said.
‘Saaho’ to release in IMAX screens worldwide
Telugu superstar Prabhas’ multilingual comeback film “Saaho” is all set to release in IMAX format, besides the regular 2d format.
The IMAX version of “Saaho” will open not only in India, but all across the globe. The film will be digitally re-mastered in the immersive IMAX format for all markets.
While it has become a common practice to release Hollywood films in IMAX screens, the trend is not yet prevalent among Indian filmmakers, particularly the ones in Bollywood. “Dhoom 3”, “Gold” and “2.0” have been among few Indian films to have had an IMAX release.
“We are thrilled to partner with UV-Creations and T-Series on the release of Saaho, a pulse-pounding, non-stop action epic that deserves to be experienced in IMAX,” Megan Colligan, President of IMAX Entertainment and Executive Vice President, IMAX Corp said.
“Saaho” is scheduled to release in three languages — Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The film is directed by Sujeeth, and co-stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff in key roles. The film is scheduled to open on August 30.
“Saaho” is Telugu superstar Prabhas’ first release since his blockbuster “Bahubali” series.

‘Success and Failure Are Both Part Of The Same Game’
The harsh treatment meted out by most critics and the boxoffice to the new Nagarjuna starrer Manmadhudu 2 has not shaken Nagarjuna at all.
“One does every film with equal passion and sincerity. Some work some don’t. So what? You just carry on doing what you believe in. That’s life. I’ve never taken success or failure too seriously,” says Nag.
About selecting what many think was a wrong French film for a Telugu remake, Nag says, “One goes by instinct. It’s not right to question my judgment just because a particular film doesn’t work.”
“At this stage of my career I am working thanks to the support of my fans and well wishers. I am happy with whatever I am doing in life including my role as host on Bigg Boss. I don’t regret anything.”
India Tells China : Kashmir Is Internal Matter
Foreign minister S Jaishankar emphasized to China that India’s decision to abroagte Articles 370, 35A are an internal issue. In his first official talk with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Union Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has made it very clear that abrogation of Articles 370, 35A are purely internal issues of India. He emphasized to his Chinese counterpart that Kashmir is internal matter of India. He also informed him that it would not impact border negotiations with either China or Pakistan.
Jaishankar also cautioned Wang Yi that the “future of India-China relationship will entirely depend on mutual sensitivity to each other’s core concerns. Properly managing differences is therefore vital.” Giving this utmost importance and how serious India takes this approach on China, Jaishankar repeated the above lines in his speech at the India-China Media Forum.
Wang Yi seems to be convinced and he admitted that the talks were fruitful. Speaking to media at the end of the Forum, Wang Yi said the talks were “in-depth” on respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both India and China. He said they openly discussed their differences with Indis. He said China repeated its concerns regarding the tensions between India and Pakistan.
Whereas Jaishankar told Wang Yi that Article 370 was a temporary provision in Indian Constitution and was “sole prerogative” of India. “The legislative measures were aimed at promoting better governance and socio-economic development. There was no implication for either the external boundaries of India or the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China. India was not raising any additional territorial claims,” Jaishankar told Wang Yi.
Jaishankar’s meet with Wang Yi comes after Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s visit to Beijing a few days ago following which Wang Yi had said the Kashmir issue should be “settled” as per UN Charter and the 1948 resolution that had raised alarm bells among Indian leaders.
Jaishankar had told Wang Yi that Chinese side should base its assessment on realities when it comes to India-Pakistan relations are concerned.

The First Look of NTR from RRR is not being released on Aug 15. Source close to the team have confirmed the development. They added that there was no plan in first place to release the first look of RRR on Aug 15. The sources aver that the film’s release will be in 2020 which is a long way from now and releasing first look for Aug 15 would be too early.
Already, the film has massive business offers from trade circles. In fact, many producers had even given an open offer of Rs 100 Crore to producer Danayya just to drop from the production. So, releasing the film’s first look to open the business for the film is also evoking laughs in industry circles.
So, there will be no release of First Look of Tarak from RRR this Independence Day. The only treat will be from mega hero Varun Tej and director Harish Shankar as Valmiki Teaser is slated for release.

Director Rahul Ravindran and his singer wife Chinmayi and their best friend Samantha are the target for trolls ever since Manmadhudu 2 hit the screens. The trio are the cynosure of trolls and critics of Manmadhudu 2.
Rahul Ravindran was finally asked about the ‘double-meaning’ dialogues, scenes in the film like “Match”, “Helmet”, “Power Play” and et al on the sidelines of the media interaction held recently. And Rahul’s response was epic as he said, “There was no double-meaning. It was all single-meaning.”
So, shall we say that Rahul has admitted that Manmadhudu 2’s whole objective was bold content and aimed at only adults and youth. If it is so, then why the makers are projecting the movie as a complete, wholesome family entertainer like Manmadhudu. Even in post-release promotions, ironically, the makers have widely advertised the whole family members of Samba Siva Rao aka Sam in the publicity posters. This is the major disconnect between the target audiences of a film and the film’s promotion. Every maker should know who their target audiences are and design the promotion in sync with it. Surprisingly, a superstar like Nagarjuna too missed it.

Speaker Calls Oppn TDP: Koun Kiska Gottam Gallu
In what can be highly shocking and degradable comments from AP Speaker Tammineni Sitaram on Opposition TDP leaders, the senior leader called the Telugu Desam Party netas as ‘Koun Kiska Gottam Gallu’. Referring TDP netas as Koun Kiska Gottam Gallu, Sitharam asked the newly appointed Village Volunteers to be not afraid of the cases to be filed by TDP leaders over their appointments.
Hailing from Srikakulam district, Tammineni has won from Amudalavalasa constituency. 60-year-old Tammineni visited Srikakulam on Monday (Aug 12, 2019) and lost cool on TDP leaders and lashed out at them forgetting that he holds respectable and honorary post of Assembly speaker.
Speaker is the Head of Assembly. He is ought to be a neutral judge and manage all debates, discussions in Assembly in a fair and equal manner without any partiality towards ruling party.
“Don’t be afraid of TDP’s Koun Kiska Gottam Gallu even if they file petition against the recruitment of Village Volunteers. Please do your work,” Tammineni was quoted. He further said he would stand by the Gram Volunteers as Amudalavalasa MLA.
Sharply countering his critics who are pointing out that how a Speaker would conduct review meetings by calling them as “ignorants”, he countered, “I’m Amudalavalasa MLA first…Speaker next.” He further asked the Opposition leaders, “Who will resolve the problems of the people of my constituency?”
Tammineni further boasted his ‘Special Powers’ and said that he has special powers as Speaker and asked the Opposition to toe in line and before making any comments against him.
Meanwhile, TDP leaders have got a weapon in hand with Tammineni’s demeaning, belitting comments. TDP leaders have come down heavily on Tammineni and found fault with him for the remarks of ‘Kon Kiska Gottam Gallu’. “Being in a Constitutional Post, can Speaker make such disrespectful comments on Opposition leaders. Is this his opinion on Opposition party leaders?” questioned TDP leaders.
Tammineni’s comments are expected to fuel the ongoing war-of-words between ruling and opposition parties in AP.

Back then, Nani has agreed to do a film with Rahul for a happening producer in the industry. Then came an offer for the director to handle Manmadhudu 2, a remake movie, and that’s where the fate got boomerang it looks like. Now, whether Nani works with Rahul or not has to be seen in the wake of Manmadhudu 2 going for a disastrous run at the box office.

KCR To Turn Film Producer?
Telangana crusader, first CM of Telangana Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao wears several hats. He is not just an art enthusiast, but he is also a poet and a writer who has penned a couple of songs. KCR has good command over language and he gives prominence to Telugu language. In fact, none other than Vice President Venkaiah Naidu had praised KCR during Prapancha Telugu Mahasabhalu for his love for Telugu language.
The other day, KCR’s visit to veteran director K Viswanath’s residence has shocked one and all. Apparently, KCR was spell-bound by K Viswanath’s movies and old songs in his films. It is buzzed that KCR had met Viswanath with a proposal of a movie. Although octogenarian (89 year old) Viswanath had announced his retirement from filmmaking, KCR personally visited him and requested him to make a film for himself and now Viswanath is said to be in contemplation mode.
Not many are aware of KCR’s movie production plans. KCR has been wanting to make a nice art film. Personally, a great fan of fantasy and folk films, KCR is of the opinion that some good films were slightly marred by commercial elements. Considering this, KCR wants to make a pure film without any commercial elements thus in order to satisfy art and movie lovers.
Now, this proposal is said to be in K Viswanath’s court as he has to take a final call whether he could direct it or not. If K Viswanath accepts KCR’s proposal, it will be a great combination of KCR and K Viswanath in Tollywood for sure. Let’s wait and see, what is in store.
