Sukumar’s next film after Rangasthalam is finally getting ready to roll on. Sukumar has completed the script work and recently given a narration to Allu Arjun who has immensely liked it.He is so kicked about the script that he asked Sukumar to start filming from September itself.

They are waiting for an auspicious day to launch the film, which is expected to happen shortly. Rashmika Mandanna has been finalized as the female lead.This film will have Red sanders smuggling as its backdrop and Allu Arjun will play a character that he has never done so far.

A lot of rumors are in circulation about Allu Arjun’s next after Trivikram’s film. But it is Sukumar’s film that will go to the floors even before Trivikram’s film is wrapped up.Allu Arjun wants this film to be release by mid-summer next year. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling this film. Incidentally, it is their next big budget film post Rangasthalam.

After a brief hiatus from politics, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is back with a scathing attack on AP CM YS Jagan. Amidst the Jagan-led government’s decision to take over the liquor retail and sell alcohol across the state, Pawan said that Jagan can’t implement total liquor prohibition in the state.

Pawan said that Jagan had given a promise which he could never keep. “Jagan can’t implement total liquor prohibition even phase wise. It will lead to many problems. The government should not sell liquor in the areas where women are vehemently against it. Total liquor prohibition is possible only when the people want it to happen,” Pawan said.

Pawan also criticised Jagan’s proximity to Telangana CM KCR. “I won’t put my people’s self-respect in front of a man who abused Andhra people,” Pawan said. Taking a direct potshot at Jagan’s antics during his Parayatras, Pawan said, “I also can’t kiss and caress people.”

Interestingly, Pawan had said during Jagan’s swearing-in ceremony that he will give 100 days time to make any comment on Jagan’s rule. Pawan’s yesterday’s attack on Jagan came exactly a day after Jagan’s government completed its 100 day journey in the state.

However, the issues are not among the party’s active leaders but between Posani and 30 Years Pruthvi, the veteran actors who are the strong supporters of the YSRCP.

Recently, Pruthvi made a shocking statement when he said that many bigwigs in Tollywood didn’t want Jagan to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

But Posani is quick to find fault with Pruthvi’s statement. In a latest media interaction, Posani said that Pruthvi made that statement in a haste.

Posani said that Pruthvi was wrong in assessing the Tollywood celebrities, as almost all of them will want Chandrababu to win owing to their close association with the former CM.

This one is a rare family moment. The viral photograph shows former AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneshwari having lunch together at a restaurant in the US. The photograph was clicked by an anonymous person during Chandrababu’s ongoing tour in the US.

Chandrababu and Bhuvaneshwari left for the US for a 3-day mini-tour on the 28th of July. Apparently, the couple went to the US for a health check-up. They will be returning to Amaravati on the 1st of August. Chandrababu has been working tirelessly for the last few years and that left him with not much family time. His fans are thrilled to see him finally taking a much-needed break and spending time with his wife.

Rakshasudu Will Prove Them Wrong

Right from his acting debut in lavishly shot Alludu Seenu, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is branded for commercial films. He has been doing larger-than-life roles in almost all his films. However, he seems to have changed his approach with films like Seeta and Rakshasudu where he tries to play author-backed roles.

In a candid chat, Sreenivas opens up about his acting career spanning over 5 years and his future plans. He talks about playing a honest cop in Rakshasudu, a psychological thriller, which is all set for release tomorrow.

I’m very chilled person by nature and usually never carry my work to home. But the role I played in Rakshasudu was so influencing that I couldn’t get out of the character even after going home from the shoot. Right from the first day of the shoot, we maintained the emotions right on the set in order to get the film right. This character is very challenging role for me and it has taught me so much. It pushed my boundaries as an actor both physically and mentally. This role has given me a lot of confidence and from now on wards, I’d like to do more content-driven movies which makes audiences think.

Flops

Like in everyone’s career, I too had flops. But many had written me off. Rakshasudu will prove them wrong. I’ll make a comeback with a bang. The film has shaped up so well. After acting for five years, I wish to do different roles and different cinema. I’ll be more choosy from now on wards and will attempt roles that keep challenging my acting skills.

Rakul Preet To Enter #BigBoss3 Next Week

Into its second week, the popular reality show Bigg Boss’ third edition of the Telugu version is already taking Telugu audiences for a ride. And the addition of some hot-headed contestants is creating enough ripples inside, thereby providing emotional highs to fellow inmates as well as viewers.

Nani’s Gang Leader Going For A Title Change?

Ever since Nani has come up with the title “Gang Leader”, a section of mega fans are complaining that the natural star shouldn’t have done this. However, the hero confirmed that they took permission from Megastar Chiru and Nani declared himself as a true mega fan, before announcing the title.

Anyway, right now the trouble is not from mega fans or mega camp, but actually, another small-time producer has registered the title “Gang Leader” couple of years ago. After all the consultations, the producer is said to have refused to give the title ‘Gang Leader’ to Mythri Movie Makers. And here comes the change that is going to be done now.

Mythri has now registered the title “Nani’s Gang Leader” at Film Chamber, to make sure that there will be no worries in the future. All the new posters will be featuring a short tag ‘Nani’s’ before the words Gang Leader. That’s the only change that is in the offing folks.

Directed by super talented Vikram K Kumar, Nani’s Gang Leader will be hitting cinemas on September 13th after Saaho stole its original release date of August 30th.

Arrest Warrant against Bellamkonda

An arrest warrant has been issued against producer Bellamkonda Suresh for failing to make the repayment of Rs 3.5 crore to a Telugu entertainment channel. In 2013, Bellamkonda produced ‘Jabardasth’ movie starring Siddharth and Samantha.

Bollywood’s leading production house Yash Raj Films filed a case against this movie in Delhi High Court and alleged that the makers had copied 19 scenes from their movie ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ without permission.

After verifying the facts, the Delhi High Court has issued its verdict to stop the screening of ‘Jabardasth’ in the theatres and television. By then already a Telugu entertainment channel has bought the satellite rights of ‘Jabardasth’ from producer Bellamkonda for Rs 3.50 crore.

The channel asked for repayment and Bellamkonda kept delaying it and vexed up with waiting for long, the channel approached the court. In this gap, the total amount of Rs 3.50 crore grew to Rs 11.75 crore with interest.

Even after continuous appeal Bellamkonda Suresh ignored to make payment and so the court has issued arrest warrant against him. Once the police receive the court order, they are likely to arrest Bellamkonda. We are yet to hear the reaction of Bellamkonda Suresh on this arrest warrant. He might knock the court for an anticipatory bail or make a small payment to avoid detention.

Rajamouli Orders Reshoot For Son’s Debut Film?

After assisting his father Rajamouli from Magadheera to Baahubali 2, SS Karthikeya is making his debut as a solo producer with the sci-fi fantasy drama ‘Aakashavaani’ under his banner Showing Business. Debutant Ashwin Gangaraju, who had assisted Rajamouli on Eega and the Baahubali franchise, is the director of Aakashavaani.

The entire Rajamouli family is considering Aakashavaani a prestigious venture. Naturally, all of them are seriously involved in the making of the film. In fact, Rajamouli was personally present on Aakashavaani sets in Araku earlier this year. Aakashavaani had wrapped up its entire shoot a couple of months ago.

After the edit was locked, Rajamouli is said to have watched the final cut. The latest buzz is that Rajamouli had suggested a major change. Apparently, Aakashavaani’s story mainly revolves around its antagonist. But Karthikeya had cast a relatively newbie for the role.

Due to this, Rajamouli felt that the film had lost its intensity and didn’t turn out to be as effective as expected. He immediately asked Karthikeya and his team to reshoot the villain’s portions with a prominent actor. The reshoot is complete now and the film will be released in September.

Rumour and Renu Desai go hand in hand, as the former actress always stays in the limelight somehow, thanks to her social media interactions. Earlier when there are rumours afloat about her impending marriage with fiance getting cancelled, the actress condemned them. Here comes another shocker now.

A couple of months ago, it has come out that Renu Desai agreed to play a crucial role in a Telugu movie which will be based on the life of Stuartpuram robber Tiger Nageswara Rao. While Bellamkonda Sai was supposed to play the lead, Renu is rumoured to be playing the role of legendary poet Gurram Joshua’s daughter, social activist Hemalatha Lavanam.

However, the news is now coming out that Renu has walked out of the project. They say that she changed her idea of debuting back into films as a character actress, and she might limit herself only to the direction. When quizzed about the same, Renu said, “I’m not even remotely interested to turn actress again, but I will continue directing movies”.

To be directed by Vamsi Krishna of Dongata fame, this Tiger Nageswara Rao biopic is getting popular for these walkouts. While Rana is the first of many to walk out from the lead role and we have to see when will this film takes off.

Why JD is not visible in Jana Sena meetings?

For the last few days, actor-turned-Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan has stepped up his party activities like building the organisational structure and working out the action plans for the coming days.

Last week, Pawan reconstituted his party’s politburo, comprising four key leaders – Nadendla Manohar, P Rammohan Rao, Raju Ravi Teja and Arhan Khan, apart from himself.

He also constituted an 11-member political affairs committee headed by Nadendra Manohar.

Similarly, Pawan also created a one-member disciplinary committee headed by Madasu Gangadharam.

He assigned specific tasks for all these committees and announced that he would also take up field tours across the length and breadth of Andhra Pradesh shortly.

So far so good. But one person who has been missing from action in the revived party activities is former joint director of Central Bureau of Investigation and retired IPS officer V V Lakshminarayana, who joined the Jana Sena Party just before the general elections.

Popularly known as JD, Lakshminarayana contested as Jana Sena candidate from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency, but lost miserably. Subsequently, he was nowhere to be seen in the party.

Though there have been reports in the media and also social media about JD continuing his social service activities, he has been keeping away from party activities. His name also does not figure in any of the state-level committees appointed by Pawan.

Some other leaders are also said to be not keen on participating in the Jana Sena activities. Though Thota Chandrashekar is still in the party, he is also rarely seen at the meetings. May be he is looking for any other alternative!
