Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji belongs to a highly esteemed line of monks and he performs all religious activities in his ashram in Muchintal which is located on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Andhra and Telangana CMs worship Chinna Jeeyar Swami and very recently there was a wide spread talk about this and now a new chief minister has joined the Telugu CMs.
He is the newly sworn-in CM of Karnataka, Yediyurappa. Winning the Karnataka Assembly floor test, Yediyurappa will be meeting Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji at his ashram on Wednesday afternoon to seek his blessings one more time. We also hear that AP CM YS Jagan is also likely to meet Chinna Jeeyar Swami later in the day.
Interestingly Telangana CM met Chinna Jeeyar yesterday and discussed about the Yadadri temple opening ceremony. For this, KCR along with Chinna Jeeyar are going to perform Maha Sudarshana Yaagam. In about 100 acres, this ritual is going to be executed and nearly 3000 Ruthwicks will participate with additional 3000 helpers. On this occasion, Chinna Jeeyar Swami blessed KCR and presented a shawl and Ramanuja’s idol to the Telangana CM.
Nonetheless, three states CMs have reached Chinna Jeeyar Swami and this shows how power this religious priest is.

One contestant who is continuously getting the ‘hatred’ of other contestants in the dark corner is none other than Sreemukhi. She is one of the hotshot inmates of Bigg Boss 3, and the likes of Tamanna have openly stated that Sreemukhi has huge confidence to win the trophy.
Whether Sreemukhi is really a strategist or not inside the house, it looks like she has set up a terrific backend team in the real world, in order to support her candidature to win Bigg Boss 3. Her team is working round the clock, sharing her hot pictures, her quotes from Bigg Boss house and some good memes that back the TV anchor.
Literally, this social media team of the anchor is slowly building up to #SreemukhiArmy on the internet, which might come handy during the later stages of the game. Looks like the anchor studied Bigg Boss really well and made arrangements such that she will get help inside the house with support from people on the net, a strategy that worked in the case of Kaushal last year.
With her team killing all the way, we have to see if the social media teams of Varun Sandesh and other celebs will pick that speed or not.
In a way, it looks like Vithika is not able to digest any comment that comes her way, even though the advice came from a good friend. After past gigs with Mahesh and Sreemukhi, now she has taken to chew her good friend in the house Punarnavi as well.
When the bicycle task is given, where contestants need to pedal a static cycle such that they will be provided gas, water, and house access, almost every contestant tried to take chances. But Vithika got busy with the kitchen and didn’t take part in it. Her good friend Punarnavi then adviced her to take part in the task such that she gets more points. Reacting in a bizarre way over this, Vithika asked her to not advice what to do and tried to explain about the 35-40 chapatis/dosas she made for housemates.
And when Punarnavi replied that she has also done work including pedaling the ‘gas cycle’. But Vithika couldn’t accept over this, as she feels if one has done some work they need publicize about it. This is in contrast to the statements she has given earlier. Later Vithika accused Varun Sandesh of getting influenced by Punarnavi and shot back at him as he asked her to say sorry to Punarnavi.
On one side
Though Varun Sandesh tried to be rational, Vithika got upset because her husband is not supporting her blindly and started crying intensely, which sounded like a childish act. Unable to convince an irritating Vithika whose points are not making any sense, Varun apologised to his wife.
Going by the whole episode, one gets a feeling that Vithika is the wicket that will fall at the earliest from the Bigg Boss house.
Inside Saaho trailer, we could notice that the action is happening in a desert backdrop and a skyline of skyscrapers could be seen right there. But that is not Abu Dabhi or any other cosmopolitan desert city, in case if you are thinking that the whole sequences got shot in Emirates.
For reasons unknown, Saaho team is said to have created their own futuristic city in the deserts of Abu Dabhi. Splurging almost 65+ crores, they have spent two years in the making under the leadership of production designer Sabu Cyril to create this fantastic landscape. In fact, the fictional Gotham City in Batman Series might have inspired Prabhas and his director to come up with this new city, whose name is not yet revealed. The whole setup was built in Abu Dabhi only, as the desert backdrop will make things easier.
Hiring special effects supervisor Danilo Bollettino, who is known for films like Wonder Woman (2017) and Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015), Magadheera VFX supervisor Kamal Kannan took the onus of delivering visual effects and special effects for this city, with the support of 300 digital artists in India and abroad.
Hope all these efforts will turn into a super hit on the silver screen as Saaho hits cinemas on August 30th. Directed by Sujeeth, the film features Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi and Evelyn Sharma in the leads.

Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash Kovelamudi has failed as director again. Raghavendra Rao is one of the most successful directors in Tollywood’s history.
Even Prakash Kovelamudi’s grandfather K S Prakash Rao had also given sensational blockbusters as a director with films like Akkineni Nageswara Rao starrer “Prem Nagar”.
Despite coming from such great filmmakers’ family, Prakash Kovelamudi is failing to deliver a hit.
His maiden Bollywood debut “Judgementall Hai Kya” starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao is heading to be a flop.
The film opened to around Rs 22 crore in its opening weekend but it has crashed on Tuesday. It is going to become a huge flop.
Though the film has received good reviews from critics, the general public has found the film to be a bore.
Prakash Kovelamudi had earlier directed “Anaganaga O Dheerudu” and “Size Zero”. Both these movies were written by his wife Kanika.
His is a failure story in Tollywood. Now he wants to stay put in Bollywood.
Thriller genres are safe bet and minimum guarantee films and so hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas has attempted this genre for the first time.
‘Rakshasudu’ is the official remake of Tamil movie ‘Ratsasan’ and it was a super hit in that language.
The teaser and trailer of ‘Rakshasudu’ have garnered good response and there is a decent buzz going on surrounding the movie.
Hero Bellamkonda Sreenivas is in a dull phase and he tasted back-to-back setbacks recently. He deserves a much needed success.
With positive vibes about the movie all over, Bellamkonda has pinned all hopes on ‘Rakshasudu’ and is optimistic about the film’s result at the box office.
The film is releasing this Friday and we have to see whether Bellamkonda will get the desired success or not.
Body of Cafe Coffee Day chief V G Siddhartha found near Hoigebazar in Mangaluru on Wednesday being shifted.Mangaluru: Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) founder-chairman V.G. Siddhartha is no more, as his body was found in Karnataka’s Netravathi river, near here, police said on Wednesday. He was 60.
“Two fishermen found Siddhartha’s body early this morning about 500 metres away from the road bridge from where he alleged to have jumped into the river on Monday night,a Mangaluru Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil told reporters here.
The port city of Mangaluru is about 360km west of Bengaluru.
The body was found by the fishermen near Hoige Bazar in trousers but without shirt.
“The body has been shifted to the state-run Wenlock hospital mortuary here for autopsy. It will be handed over to Siddhartha’s family and taken to Chikkamgaluru for the last rites,” Ullal Congress legislator and former minister U.T. Khadar said.
“It was identified to be Siddhartha’s with a gold ring on his right hand finger, a digital watch on his left hand and shoes he was wearing when he appears to have jumped off the road bridge.
On asked about the body found with the torso naked and only trousers on, Khader said though it was for the police to investigate whether he took them off before jumping into the river, as they were not found on the bridge or in the vicinity during the 36-hour long search operation.
The 36-hour long massive search in the river had continued over the last two night which led to the spot where the body surfaced and seen by the two fishermen.
“The body will be kept for homage by the public at Chikkamgaluru and the last rites will be performed at Siddharatha’s native village in the Coffee district.
On Tuesday, a fisherman had claimed to have seen a man jumping into the Netravathi river from the same bridge, almost 24 hours after his driver raised an alarm about the missing businessman.
Two days prior to his disappearance, the coffee baron had left behind a note to his employees that revealed he was in deep debt.
The mountain of debt was impairing his business as working capital requirements could not be met. It led him to sale his stakes in IT firm Mindtree that gave him some room to manoeuvre.
“I have failed to create the right profitable business model despite my best efforts. I would like to say I gave it my all. I am very sorry to let down all the people that put their trust in me. I fought for a long time but today I gave up as I could not take any more pressure…,” his note read.
In his desperation, he was also reportedly in a dialogue with global beverage maker Coca-Cola for an equity sale in flagship Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) at an enterprise valuation of around Rs 10,000 crore may have been on the anvil.
In a complaint to the police, his driver, who last saw him alive, said that Siddhartha told him to stop by the side soon as they drove on to the bridge and asked him to wait in the car at the end of the bridge as he wanted to walk up and had to make calls.
“When the rain started, I took a u-turn and drove back to the spot where I left Sir and searched around for him. As it was dark, windy and raining, I could not find him anywhere on the bridge or in the river,” Patil had said in the complaint.
Siddhartha left Bengaluru on Monday afternoon to Sakleshpur near Hassan where he has a house and one of his coffee estates. As it was on way to Mangaluru, he told Patil to drive towards Mangaluru after a short break at Sakleshpur to fresh-up.
Siddhartha is the elder son-in-law of senior BJP leader, S.M. Krishna, who was External Affairs Minister in the UPA-2 government (2009-12) and state Chief Minister (1999-2004) when in the Congress.
After conquering Karnataka state, Bharatiya Janata Party appears to be going rather aggressively in Telangana with an eye on power in 2023 assembly elections.
The BJP dropped a bombshell on the Telangana Rashtra Samithi by claiming that some of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLAs are in touch with it and might join the BJP any time. This is apart from leaders from other parties like the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party.
“There are several disgruntled MLAs in the TRS, who are feeling suffocated in the party. They are doubtful whether they would be able to win the next elections, if they continued in the party. They are in touch with us and might join the BJP anytime,” former Mahabubnagar MP A P Jitender Reddy, who defected from the TRS to the BJP said.
On Tuesday, BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao also asserted that the BJP would spread rapidly in Telangana.
“We are going to chase the BJP every moment hereafter till we achieve our goal. We will show what an opposition party can do to the ruling party,” he said.
Stating that the TRS government headed by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was totally ineffective without any concrete political ideology, Muralidhar Rao appealed to the people to teach a fitting lesson to the TRS in the next elections.
“Those who are keen on pulling down the TRS government are looking up to the BJP as an alternative,” he said.
It appears YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy does not want to entertain any demand for reservations to Kapu community, since he feels it is too sensitive for him politically.
He reportedly told a delegation of Kapu MLAs, MLCs and ministers which met him on Monday in no uncertain terms that there was no question of providing reservations to Kapus under Other Backward Classes quota or Economically Weaker Sections quota, since it becomes controversial and triggers protests.
According to party sources, the three-member committee constituted by Jagan to study Manjunatha Commission report was just to drag the issue further, as no time limit has been fixed for the committee to submit its report.
“There is nothing much to do a deep study on the report. But Jagan wants to prolong the issue as long as he can,” a source said.
Jagan sought to blame Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu government for not replying to the letter written by the Centre on April 4 seeking clarity on whether the State wanted to take back the decision of including Kapus in the BC list.
“How can Naidu give any reply to the Centre at a time when he was amidst of campaign for the assembly elections held on April 11? Even after that he could not have written any letter, as he was only an interim chief minister without any powers to take a decision. May be, he would have replied to the letter had he come back to power again,” a Kapu leader argued.
Surprisingly, even Jagan had not taken any decision on the Centre’s letter in the last two months.
“He came to power on May 30. If he had any commitment towards Kapu quota, he would have replied to the Centre’s letter immediately. It clearly shows that Jagan did not want to commit himself on Kapu reservations but leave it to the Centre,” the Kapu leader said.
