Lakshmi Manchu calls him a sad filmmaker
The never-ending opinions and discussions on filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s idea of love seems to continue for long as people have bashed him over his illogical and irrational point of view towards women. Actors like Samantha and Chinmayi have criticized Sandeep for talking in a misogynist manner and now, Lakshmi Manchu has joined the league to slam him too.
While Samantha said she was deeply disturbed with his words, Lakhmi now calls him a sad filmmaker. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been criticized by many for promoting violence against women through Kabir Singh. Later, Devdutt Pattanaik, a Mumbai-based mythologist and author, expressed his anger over the director, saying that his version of love is of Bollywood, but it is not there in Indian mythology. Lakshmi Manchu was quite upset by Devdutt Pattanaik’s remark against Bollywood and she took to her Twitter and wrote, “Oh God not all of Bollywood. Just one sad filmmaker! Most of us believe in love, song, dance and friendship in our movies. Keep these beautiful pictures coming.”
On this, netizens trolled Lakshmi Manchu over reacting unnecessarily by showing concern over the whole Bollywood. While some others slammed her that she is stirring the controversy a bit deeper. Calling Sandeep a sad filmmaker has also made many upset and asked her to think twice before talking in public domain. Nevertheless, the debate on Kabir Singh and the director will never end soon.
4 Months Of Efforts Behind Cricketer Lilly
Cute Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna has once again got teamed up Vijay Devarakonda and they are coming up with “Dear Comrade” movie. At the teaser launch of the movie today, the actress made some interesting comments.
“There are some things I want to share about working on this film, and only in a positive sense. I’ve practised cricket for four months, for those five minutes of visuals that will be shown on the silver screen. For 20 days of my schedule, I’m only weeping and crying. I took 4 months to dub for the movie with lots of corrections. And looking at the trailer, it seems like my efforts paid off”, said Rashmika, who is playing the role of Lilly, a state level cricketer, who falls in love with a childhood street mate.
The Geetha Govindam star has truly excited her fans as by revealing the efforts she has put into this character and at the same time, her lip-locks with Vijay from the trailer have created more sensation. We have to see how will these efforts get paid off as ‘Dear Comrade” is set for July 26th release.

The moment we hear about the word comrade, we get connected to radical and revolutionary thoughts only. And when the trailer of Dear Comrade is out, many wondered why there are no such shades in the movie. And here is what Vijay Devarakonda has to say about that.
“Comrade means a supporter who will be with us in all the ups and downs of life, and hence all those who supported me till date to make me what I’m now, they are all comrades” says Vijay Devarkonda, as many got a doubt after looking at the trailer, as to why the film is named ‘Dear Comrade’. And inside the teaser, the hero says he is a comrade of her love.
Talking further Vijay added, “‘Don’t know, but I’m unable to sleep well from the last one week as Dear Comrade is getting ready for a release. The film will hit cinemas on July 26th”. Bankrolled by Mythri Movies and Big Ben Cinemas, Dear Comrade is directed by Bharat Kamma and has Justin Prabhakaran scoring the music.
The film unit will do a Dear Comrade Music Festival at cities like Chennai, Vizag, Bangalore and Hyderabad to promote the film across the five southern states.

Kabir Singh in top 10 highest grossing in India
Ever since its release, Kabir Singh continues to shatter box office records with surprising collections. The film went on to become the biggest opener in Shahid Kapoor’s career and earned him good accolades. In spite of receiving negative reviews over depicting the violent and abusive protagonist, Kabir Singh managed to earn its place among the top 10 highest grosser in India.

Buzz: 30% Of Chay-Kammula Film Already Shot?
Recently director Sekhar Kammula and hero Naga Chaitanya have announced they’re coming together for an interesting project. The film got more attention as Sai Pallavi joined them as the leading lady. Here is a talk about this project.
Like it’s said already a couple of times, Sekhar Kammula is said to have shot a film with newcomers post Fidaa, and then he didn’t feel happy looking at the output after a couple of schedules. He felt a strong need for star hero and heroine with superior acting skills, for the content work. Hence he is said to have scrapped that project and is making the same story with Chay-Sai now.
Buzz has that whatever Sekhar has shot earlier will be reused for this film. Only those scenes involving hero and heroine will be replaced but the rest of the footage will be used as crores of rupees is spent on them. That accords to almost 30% of the film already shot.

Ekta Kapoor Says Sorry, But Kangana’s Sister Won’t Stop
As Kangana Ranaut’s fight with a journalist at the recent song launch event of Judgmental Hai Kya went viral, a section of media has already started boycotting this film produced by Ekta Kapoor in a different way. Sensing that, the producer acted on it, but Kangana’s sister Rangoli is back in action to spoil the show.
Understanding that media got hurt, Ekta’s Balaji Telefilms has shot a letter to media folks asking them to not take one unfortunate incident into consideration and hurt the film’s prospects. They have in-person tendered an apology to the journalist involved in the discussion and requested media to cooperate.
However, as the union of entertainment journalists demanded an apology from Kangana Ranaut, her sister and manager Rangoli tweeted that it is just impossible. KCR is a great leader: Jagan in Assembly
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy showered praises on Telangana Chief Minister KCR in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Thursday.Jagan termed KCR as a ‘great leader with a generous heart’ who has agreed to give Godavari water to AP.
Jagan’s praise on KCR was in response to TDP chief and Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu’s criticism in the Assembly who said Jagan colluded with KCR for his ‘selfish interests’ and compromised on the interests of AP.
Naidu objected at Jagan attending Kaleshwaram inaugural event in Telanganana recently.
Naidu reminded Jagan of his earlier agitation against Kaleshwaram project in 2016 and also Jagan terming KCR as “Hitler” and Jagan comparing AP and Telangana with India and Pakistan if Kaleshwaram is built.
Responding to this Jagan justified his friendship with KCR saying that it is essential to maintain ‘cordial ties’ between Telugu States and for both the states to progress with mutual cooperation.
“What’s wrong in having friendship with KCR. He is a great leader. He agreed to give Godavari water to AP. If Godavari water is diverted to Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar as proposed by KCR, AP will be relieved of irrigation and drinking water problems in future.”
Jagan questioned Naidu why was he desperate to join hands with TRS before Telangana Assembly polls in December 2018, if he considers KCR as a ‘villain’.
“When KCR and KTR visited Harikrishna’s house to pay last respects in Hyderabad after he died in car accident, Chandrababu proposed KCR to have TRS-TDP alliance for Assembly polls. It’s a shame that he talked about politics when Harikrishna’s dead body was lying there. Such is the selfish nature of Naidu. I am not like that. I am maintaining friendship with KCR only for the benefit of both the Telugu States,” Jagan replied.
However, Naidu cautioned Jagan against KCR saying that his ‘over friendship’ with KCR will cost AP dearly as KCR is known for anti-Andhra stand.
Ram Charan Turns Down Ramayana!
Allu Aravind has announced his old project again recently. Two years ago, he made an announcement that he would produce ‘Ramayana’ with Rs 500 Cr in multiple languages.
Back then, he had Ram Charan in his mind to play the role of Lord Rama. Now, he has announced three parts of this mega project and the budget has been hiked to Rs 1500 Cr.
The ‘Dangal’ director Nitish Tiwari has also come on board. Such massive project needs a big star to headline. Will Ram Charan act in it?
Our sources say, Ram Charan has no interest to do this movie and nor does have time on his hand as he would be busy with Rajamouli’s mega epic drama “RRR” which will give more success than this Ramayana. Rajamouli is number one director in India.
It is said that Ram Charan has already turned down the offer of this Ramayana. Allu Aravind and his production partner is in talks with a Bollywood star.
Rajasekhar More Anxious about Younger Daughter
Rajasekhar and Jeevitha have launched their elder daughter Shivani in a Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster “2 States” but the movie was scrapped as male lead Adivi Sesh and director of the movie had huge differences on the way the film’s progressing.
