Renu Desai’s Post-Surgery Dinner Pic Sparks Love and Curiosity

Share

Renu Desai, former actress and ex-wife of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, recently shared a seemingly simple selfie on social media — just her and daughter Aadya, enjoying a peaceful dinner. But it wasn’t the photo that made headlines — it was the quiet caption: “Finally out for dinner with my cuties post surgery.”

Dressed casually — Aadya in a soft cream outfit and Renu in a black-and-blue checkered shirt — the duo looked relaxed and content. But the understated message beneath the post stirred curiosity and emotion among fans. Renu didn’t reveal who underwent surgery, nor did she offer any further details. And yet, that deliberate silence spoke volumes.

In a world of constant oversharing, Renu’s choice to keep things private drew admiration. She’s long been known for steering clear of media frenzy and focusing on raising her children — Akira Nandan and Aadya — with grace and dignity. This post, though subtle, felt deeply personal to her followers.

Support and warm wishes flooded the comments, with fans expressing concern and sending love. Whether Renu opens up more in future posts or chooses to stay silent, one thing is clear: she’s healing, she’s strong, and she’s surrounded by the love of her children. And sometimes, that’s all that truly matters.

NDA to Clear ₹300 Cr Pending Contractor Bills in 30 Days

Share

One of the major criticisms of the previous YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government in Andhra Pradesh was its failure to clear pending contractor bills. The situation had reportedly become dire — not only were bills from the TDP era ignored, but even those executed by YCP-aligned contractors after 2019 remained unpaid.

Contractors across the state bore the brunt of this financial neglect, with many businesses pushed to the brink. This issue became a significant factor contributing to the growing anti-incumbency sentiment against the Jagan regime.

In a welcome move, the newly formed NDA government has stepped in to resolve this long-standing issue. Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, working closely with central authorities, announced a major relief package for contractors awaiting payment.

“The NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, in coordination with the Central government, is committed to clearing pending contractor bills within 30 days,” Pemmasani declared. “The previous government ignored these dues for years. We are now correcting that injustice.”

According to the minister, around ₹250 to ₹300 crore worth of bills from as far back as 2019 will be cleared. Of this, the Central government will contribute ₹180 crore, while the State government will cover the remaining amount to ensure full settlement.

Pemmasani further stated that the previous administration had created a hostile environment for contractors, adding, “Under the Jagan regime, contractors faced unnecessary delays and neglect. The NDA government is sensitive to their plight and is taking swift action to provide relief.”

Approximately 3.5 lakh bills are expected to be cleared under this process, which will be directly overseen by the state administration. For many contractors who have endured financial strain for nearly six years, this announcement brings much-needed hope. As per Pemmasani’s assurance, the entire clearance process will be completed within a month.

This move is being hailed as a significant step towards restoring confidence among contractors and ensuring smoother infrastructure and public works operations in the state going forward.

A decade ago, Baahubali began as a bold vision — a dream rooted in ambition, imagination, and a desire to redefine Indian cinema. What followed was nothing short of historic. As the team comes together to mark the 10-year anniversary of this cinematic marvel, they don’t just celebrate a film, but the legacy of an epic that transformed storytelling on the Indian screen.

What started as a high-stakes gamble turned into a movement — Baahubali became more than a film; it became a phenomenon. S.S. Rajamouli’s visionary direction, powerful performances, and the emotional core of the story turned the saga into a cultural landmark that resonated with audiences across generations and borders.

The reunion of the cast and crew was an emotional moment — filled with memories of long days, creative challenges, triumphs, and moments that shaped history. From sets that transported us to the grandeur of Mahishmati to characters who are now icons, the team reflected on the unforgettable journey that brought Baahubali to life.

But beyond the creators, this celebration belongs to the fans — the millions who kept the spirit alive with their love, passion, and unrelenting support. Every fan theory, meme, tribute, and cheer over the years has made Baahubali a shared legacy — one that belongs as much to its audience as to its makers.

Adding to the milestone celebrations, director S.S. Rajamouli took to X (formerly Twitter) to make a thrilling announcement. To mark the 10-year journey, Baahubali: The Epic — a two-part combined film — will be released worldwide on October 31, 2025. Featuring new cuts and narrative enhancements, this re-edited cinematic version promises to deliver a fresh and immersive experience.

Sharing a powerful new poster, Rajamouli wrote:

“Baahubali. The beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with Baahubali: The Epic, a two-part combined film.”

Backed by Arka Media Works, the re-release is set to join the ranks of iconic re-edits in Telugu cinema and is expected to open to blockbuster numbers in the Telugu states.

As the countdown begins once again, Baahubali returns not just as a film, but as a legacy — timeless, majestic, and eternally inspiring.

Fatima Sana Shaikh Reflects on Success, Directors, and Modern Love

Share

Riding high on the success of Metro In Dino, actress Fatima Sana Shaikh is once again in the spotlight — and loving every minute of it. Reuniting with acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu, after their memorable collaboration in Ludo, Fatima is humbled by the opportunity and wonders if she’s become Basu’s “blue-eyed girl.”

In an exclusive chat with Deccan Chronicle, Fatima shares, “I don’t know about being his blue-eyed girl, but I do feel incredibly lucky. Dada has this childlike madness and magic in the way he works. He gives his actors freedom, trusts them deeply, and lets them surprise him. That kind of creative liberty is rare.”

Fatima also drew comparisons between her experiences with Anurag Basu and Nitish Tiwari, with whom she worked on Dangal. “Nitish Sir is structured and patient. We had multiple readings before shoot days, and he liked to prepare thoroughly. He’s also quietly witty. Dada, on the other hand, thrives in organized chaos — he’ll change scenes on the spot and push you to trust the moment. His spontaneity is addictive. Both directors, though very different, believe in honest, heartfelt performances,” she says.

Speaking about her on-screen chemistry with Ali Fazal in Metro In Dino, Fatima explains that much of their connection is expressed in silence. “Dada lets you feel your way through the scene. That’s his brilliance — he doesn’t need to spell everything out.”

On personal beliefs, Fatima offers a thoughtful perspective on relationships and marriage. “I believe in love and deep companionship. But marriage isn’t the only way to define or validate a relationship. For me, it’s about mutual growth, understanding, and freedom. If marriage nurtures that, wonderful. But if it doesn’t, we shouldn’t romanticize it as life’s ultimate goal.”

To Gen Z, living in an era of constant stimulation and pressure, Fatima offers grounded advice: “Slow down. Take a breath. Our culture teaches us the value of balance — between ambition and patience, expression and listening. It’s okay to disconnect and spend time reflecting. Peace doesn’t come from always being in motion — sometimes, it’s found in stillness.”

Rishab Shetty to Star in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Historical Epic

Share

Kannada superstar Rishab Shetty, fresh off his pan-India success, is all set to collaborate with acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker for a monumental historical drama. Despite juggling multiple projects, including the much-anticipated Telugu film Jai Hanuman, Rishab has reportedly committed dates for this grand venture.

A source close to the development shares, “Rishab’s reach now transcends regional boundaries. His larger-than-life image and emotional connect with audiences across India have made him one of the most sought-after stars. The days of actors being confined to a single language industry are truly over.”

This ambitious project is being spearheaded by noted producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri, known for big-ticket films like Thalaivii and 83. According to industry buzz, Rishab will take on the legendary role of Emperor Krishnadevaraya, the iconic Vijayanagara ruler famed for his valor, intellect, and patronage of art and culture.

What makes this project even more exciting is the South Indian directorial debut of Ashutosh Gowariker, the visionary behind classics like Lagaan, Jodhaa Akbar, and Swades. Deeply inspired by the grandeur of Krishnadevaraya’s reign (1509–1529), Gowariker and his team have been meticulously crafting a powerful script that captures the emperor’s legacy.

“Krishnadevaraya was not only a mighty warrior but also a revered cultural icon, honored with titles like ‘Andhra Bhoja’ and ‘Karnatakaratna’. Gowariker was captivated by the richness of the Vijayanagara Empire and is planning to recreate it with majestic sets and an epic narrative,” the source adds.

With a star-studded cast expected to feature leading names from both Bollywood and the South, and a lavish production scale, this untitled historical film is poised to become a milestone in Indian cinema.

Confirming the news, producer Vishnu Induri said, “Yes, we are planning a magnum opus with Rishab Shetty and Ashutosh Gowariker, and it will go on floors soon.”

Shruti Haasan Credits Gabbar Singh for Her Breakthrough

Share

Actress Shruti Haasan credits Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster Gabbar Singh for giving her the first major breakthrough in her career as a lead actress. In a recent podcast, Shruti opened up about how the film changed her life and why she considers Telugu cinema as her first true home of success.

Recalling the journey, she shared, “I was supposed to be in Pawan Kalyan sir’s Gabbar Singh, the remake of Dabangg. But due to some issue, I was initially dropped from the project. However, director Harish Shankar really fought for me. He said he saw me in that role and insisted I be cast. I owe a lot to him — because my life completely changed after that. That’s how I have the career I have today. Telugu cinema gave me my first platform of success.”

Following the success of Gabbar Singh, Shruti’s career took off, leading to a series of successful films across Telugu and Tamil industries, where she acted alongside some of the biggest stars.

She also fondly recalled a moment from her past when she visited Hyderabad to receive a Filmfare Award on behalf of her father, Kamal Haasan. “I said on stage that I’d return to collect an award of my own someday. And Gabbar Singh made that statement come true,” she said with pride.

Speaking further about Pawan Kalyan, Shruti admired his humility and deep connection to rural life. “He’s very rooted. He often talks about farming, returning to the villages, and staying close to people. That kind of grounded personality is meant for politics — an all-rounder who has seen both worlds,” she said.

On working with him, she admitted feeling intimidated initially, saying, “He was such a big star. But he was always so kind and respectful. Much like Vijay sir in Tamil — quiet, humble gentlemen who treat everyone with grace.”

Shruti’s journey stands as a testament to perseverance and the power of the right opportunity — with Gabbar Singh being the game-changer that opened the doors to stardom.

Pawan Kalyan Sets Up Smart Kitchen in Kadapa Schools

Share

In a heartening move that is earning widespread praise, Pawan Kalyan has made a meaningful contribution to Kadapa, the political stronghold of former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Demonstrating his commitment to public welfare, Pawan personally funded a Smart Kitchen aimed at providing nutritious and hygienic meals to students in government schools.

The concept of the Smart Kitchen was first proposed during a large parent-teacher meeting held last year, where the District Collector floated the idea. Pawan, recognizing the impact such an initiative could have, stepped forward to support the project entirely from his own personal funds.

Now fully operational, the Smart Kitchen is based at the Municipal Corporation High School in Kadapa. From this central facility, meals are being prepared and delivered to 12 different schools in the region. With the help of nutrition experts, the food is planned to meet dietary standards, and a team of trained cooks and staff ensure that the kitchen operates in a modern, clean, and efficient manner.

This initiative aligns with the broader push to revamp government schools across Andhra Pradesh. Under the leadership of Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, several educational reforms are beginning to yield positive outcomes. The project’s success is also credited to District Collector Dr. Sridhar Cherukuri, who supervised the execution from start to finish.

Pawan’s gesture goes beyond infrastructure — it’s being seen as a symbol of responsible leadership and civic commitment, proving that real change begins with real action.

Prabhas’ Stylish New Look Impresses Fans

Share

Prabhas, one of Telugu cinema’s most charming stars, has often been the subject of mixed reactions regarding his on-screen appearance. Despite his superstardom post Baahubali and Saaho, fans have frequently expressed disappointment with his looks in recent films. From Radhe Shyam to Adipurush and even in his cameo for Kannappa, his styling choices drew criticism.

However, that narrative seems to be shifting.

At the recent Baahubali reunion, Prabhas made a stylish appearance with a clean-shaven beard and a well-groomed mustache — a refreshing and much-appreciated transformation. Fans quickly took to social media, praising the actor’s new look, calling it “classy,” “vintage Prabhas,” and a “true comeback.”

Buzz in film circles suggests that this fresh avatar might be linked to Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming film Fauji, in which Prabhas is rumored to play the lead. Hanu is known for presenting his heroes in sharp, charismatic avatars, and fans believe he’s worked the same magic with Prabhas.

Meanwhile, the star is close to wrapping up his work on Raja Saab, with only a few scenes and a song left to shoot. He also has Spirit in the pipeline, where he’s expected to sport a beard again. But it’s this current Fauji-inspired look that has rekindled nostalgia for the dashing Prabhas of yesteryears.

Fans now hope that the actor continues to maintain this refreshing appearance in his future projects.
