Despite the fact that many areas in popular areas like Ameerpet and SR Nagar where there are a hell lot of coaching centres for IT and other sector learners, computer hardware shops, mobile sales and service centres, are declared ‘no hoarding zones’, the filth gets accumulated on walls and streets all the time. And GHMC has done a record of sorts other day.

Using 300 of its employees, 30 vehicles and 4 JCBs, other day GHMC has removed nearly 20,000 illegal hoardings from popular areas like Maitrivanam, Satyam Theatre surroundings in Ameerpet and SR Nagar. It took almost 12 hours to toss these illegal boards into their dumping vans.

Many of buildings, whose real facets are not seen by anybody in the last decade, are now flaunting their naked look to the citizens of the city. It is expected of the GHMC that these illegal hoardings don’t pop again in the next few months such that the city will look clean and exciting.

On the other hand, these hoardings are likely to be permitted to the owners of them pay an annual fee to GHMC. More details on this are yet to come.

And looking at the trailer, the Megastar is all praises for the young lady. TDP MPs Ready To Resign, YCP MPs Ready?

TDP MLC Babu Rajendra Prasad has thrown an open challenge to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP MPs. Speaking at a discussion on the Special Category Status in Legislative Council, Babu Rajendra Prasad asked the 23 MPs of YSRCP to resign protesting against the Centre for not according SCS to AP. Rajendra Prasad said the 3 TDP MPs are willing to tender resignation to their MP posts demanding SCS for AP. He said TDP MPs are ready and asked whether YSRCP MPs are ready to submit their resignations now.

Babu Rajendra Prasad said TDP MPs are willing to fight for the state and willing to sacrifice for the state. He asked YCP MPs to join TDP MPs, so that all the 25 MPs can submit resignation to Lok Sabha, the house which is not fulfilling the genuine demands of the state.

To this challenge of TDP, YCP leaders were on back foot. It can be noted that 5 MPs of YCP had resigned in previous Lok Sabha against the Centre’s delay in granting SCS to AP. While TDP had alleged YCP MPs as “resignation drama” to favour ruling BJP, now TDP itself bringing out the proposal to resign has come as a shocker to Jagan.

Jagan Wins Hearts Of Police Families

In what can be a remarkable and revolutionary move, Andhra Pradesh state government has decided to give weekly offs to state police right from constables to inspectors. DGP Goutam Sawang in a statement stated that the weekly offs will be implemented from this week and it has come into force from June 19, 2019 (Wednesday). It is learnt that AP police bosses have identified 19 types of procedures to adopt the weekly offs based on the availability of police staff in department and as per their work nature. Goutam Sawang said the respective department heads can choose the one of the 19 procedures that is apt for their department without affecting the work.

DGP has met the Police Officers Association at Mangalagiri. Goutam said that the weekly offs information would be available in advance and the respective staff can avail it accordingly. He also said that a new software is being brought in order to implement this fairly.

DGP Goutam Sawang gave credit to CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. DGP said it is Chief Minister’s decision to give weekly offs to police personnel keeping their health as priority. The latest decision is expected to benefit over 70,000 police personnel and their families. The families of police personnel are praising AP government’s decision.

Telangana Director Gets Costly Gift From KCR

Much before the separate state of Telangana has become a reality, director N Shankar has come up with the movie ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’, to articulate the need for immediate bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh.

Back then, the leader spearheading the Telangana movement, K Chandrasekhar Rao, the present Chief Minister of Telangana state, has even watched the film first-day first show at a theatre at RTC X Roads, Hyderabad. However, after the state formed in 2014, many felt that the director will be rewarded in the right way by CM KCR.

After a long gap, Telangana cabinet has now taken the decision of rewarding N Shankar with 5-acres of land on the outskirts of Hyderabad city. According to market rates, the total cost of the land is more than 100 crores. Though the film hasn’t made much money at theatres, it looks like Shankar got his due finally.

That’s a costly gift from CM KCR, but many other activists who have even lost their valuable time and careers during Telangana agitation are now crying foul over KCR honouring only a film director.

Naidu to be evicted from Vundavalli house!

If the YSR Congress party government has its way, Telugu Desam Party president and leader of opposition N Chandrababu Naidu may have to vacate his present residence at Vundavalli on the banks of Krishna river in Amaravati.

This was hinted at by YSRC MLA from Mangalagiri Alla Ramakrishna Reddy on the assembly lobbies on Tuesday.

Reddy said he had been fighting against illegal constructions on the Krishna river bund and the issue is presently in the high court.

“The present building where Naidu has been staying on rent for the last five years is also an illegal construction. My fight against all the illegal constructions would continue till they are all demolished. I will not rest till Naidu’s house also will be demolished and he is evicted from his house,” the MLA said.

He said it was ridiculous on the part of Naidu to make tall claims about Amaravati, though he does not have a permanent house in the capital region.

“While our party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has bought a piece of land and constructed a permanent residence at Tadepalli, Naidu still has no house in Amaravati. He has no moral right to talk about Jagan’s residential status,” he said.

Reddy said he did not know the reasons for stalling of constructions in Amaravati.

“We did not ask them to stop. They should only disclose the reasons for stalling the works under the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) limits. If they have any doubts, they should approach the government,” he said.

The MLA feigned ignorance about the reports that he was being made the chairman of APCRDA. “As far as my knowledge goes, the CRDA will be headed by the chief minister,” he said.

Pawan Kalyan May Face Embarrassment

It has now almost confirmed that Pawan Kalyan would attend TANA 2019 Convention to be held on July 4 in Washington DC.

He was initially reluctant but it is said that Chandrababu Naidu is pushing him to agree to the invitation extended by TANA committee.

But Pawan Kalyan’s fans and his well-wishers are asking him to avoid attending this as he would face embarrassment there since it would be like a TDP convention.

If he really wants to break away from the shadow of Chandrababu Naidu to become a major political force by 2024, he needs to start learning to stand alone.

TANA is an organization for Telugus residing in America but over the years it has become a platform for Kamma community in USA. 90 percent of attendees are from the same community. Even the guests from India will predominantly be from their caste.

Rather than attending TDP shadow organisations, he should concentrate on building and strengthening his Jana Sena party.

If he continues to align with Naidu and his community, the Kapu community will never trust Pawan Kalyan. This was the reason why he has failed to win even in one seat that he contested from.

T Series Deciding Promotional Plan for Saaho?

Congress Should Learn Success From Jagan

Former deputy chief minister and Telangana Congress senior leader Damodar Rajanarasimha said the Reddys from Rayalaseema had become successful in politics, and the Reddys from the Telangana region should analyse why this is so.

He said that whoever becomes the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president should learn the lessons of success from AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He said that the Telangana Congress had failed because it treated the TRS as a friendly party for 10 years.

Mr Rajanarasimha alleged that there are many well-wishers of the TRS in the Congress ranks.

The fact that 12 Congress MLAs were admitted into the TRS shows what a threat the party will be in the future.

Humiliated Harish waiting for right time!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been making massive arrangements for the inauguration of Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project on Godavari river on June 21.

There is no doubt that KCR has focussed on completion of the project which is very gigantic and the biggest lift irrigation scheme in the country. But the credit of expediting the project and completing it in a record time goes to Siddipet MLA and KCR’s nephew T Harish Rao.

Everybody agrees that during his tenure as irrigation minister between 2014 and 2018, it was Harish Rao, who had taken personal care in taking up the works on Kaleshwaram lift scheme. Right from planning to execution, Harish Rao took extreme care.

“He worked like a real engineer, personally supervising every inch of its construction. He even slept at the project site several nights to oversee the construction and went round the interior areas on motor bike. For Harish Rao, Kaleshwaram was a dream project,” a TRS source said.

However, after KCR came to power for a second term, he denied cabinet berth to Harish Rao and kept the irrigation portfolio with himself.

“Now, as the project is nearing completion, the chief minister is taking all the credit for himself,” the TRS leader said.

What is worse, there is absolutely no credit to Harish Rao as the project is ready for inauguration.

His name does not appear in the invitation card and on the plaque being unveiled at the Medigadda dam site. He is not being invited to the project inauguration, the TRS source said.

What hurt Harish Rao is the way KCR went head over heels to please his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and invite him as the chief guest to the project inauguration.

The speech of Jagan, in which he strongly opposed construction of Kaleshwaram and made serious comments against KCR and Telangana is now doing viral in the social media.

“How can KCR invite an anti-Telangana leader like Jagan for the project? It is nothing but insulting the people of Telangana,” a source close to Harish Rao said, adding the former minister is waiting for the right opportunity to strike back at KCR and that would trigger revolt within the party.

Minister of State for Home has become a joke: KCR

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday said that Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy has become a joke by stating that Hyderabad is a “safe zone for terrorists”.

“People are laughing at him. He has become a joke,” Rao said at a news conference on Tuesday night.

KCR, as Rao is popularly known, said there was not a single incident of communal violence in Telangana during last five years and the Union Home Ministry also went on record to state that the crime rate in the state had come down.

“There was no terrorist attack. We are an active government. This is a neat and clean state. In fact there is no other state like this in India,” he said.

Kishan Reddy, who is a member of Parliament from Secunderabad, had said after taking oath as the Minister of State on May 30 that Hyderabad had become safe zone for terrorists as any terror incident in the country would have a link to the city.

KCR said since the Andhra Pradesh government had handed back the buildings at the secretariat to Telangana, a new secretariat complex would be built at the existing premises. He said the foundation stone for the new secretariat building will be laid on June 27. The complex with 5-6 lakh square feet space will be built at a cost of Rs 400 crore.

The Chief Minister also announced that the existing Assembly building will be preserved as heritage structure and a new legislature complex comprising legislative Assembly and legislative Council will be built at Yerrum Manzil at a cost of Rs 100 crore.

He said Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments had agreed to hold talks to solve all outstanding issues with regard to distribution of waters of Godavari and Krishna rivers.

KCR said a delegation of top irrigation officials of Andhra will visit Hyderabad on June 27 or 28 for first round of talks.
