Maharshi: Crucial For Allari & Pooja
The result of Maharshi is definitely crucial for each and every cast, crew of the film as well as the distributors and exhibitors given that Crores of business is riding on the film.
But two important people among the lead cast who desperately need a success is Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh. The flop streak of Pooja and Naresh have been worrying them and both are pinning high hopes on Maharshi.
Maharshi’s success could overturn the fortunes of both Pooja and Naresh. One has to wait and see what is in store for Pooja and Naresh who have been jinxed.
‘VH Thatha’ Is On Fire
Congress senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao seems to be on fire these days. While his other colleagues seem to be confused about what they should be doing following the party’s drubbing at the hustings in Telangana following the Assembly elections, the senior leader from Congress seems to be quite active and has become the lone crusader fighting the Telangana government.
Following the suicides of nearly 21 inter students after a goof up of Intermediate results, VHR threw a gauntlet to IT minister and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s son, K.T. Rama Rao that he should swear in front of village goddess Peddamma Thalli that he had no links with the software organisation Globarena Technologies, that bagged the tender for processing the Inter results. However, KTR did not turn up at the temple.
Then, he sat on a protest, fighting the unjust removal of Ambedkar Statue at Panjagutta in Hyderabad. VHR threatened to launch hunger strike if Ambedkar’s statue was not installed at Punjagutta after May 10. He said that the Congress leaders would stage a protest against the removal of the statue at Dharna Chowk under the leadership of Manda Krishna Madiga.
Not stopping at that he also questioned Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on how he could go on a tour when the parents of Inter students were grieving over the loss of their children following a goof-up in the Inter results released recently.
While this has come as a surprise to many TRS leaders, they are secretly appreciating his guts for speaking up against the current government. Many are also of the opinion that Congress leaders, much younger than him in age, should learn from him and begin responding to public issues. Political observers say that VHR is setting an example for other opposition parties. Looks like age is just a number for VH Thatha!
NATA Golf Tournament & Membership Drive Grand Success
NATA Atlanta team organized annual Golf tournament on a Sunday May 5th at Bears Best Golf Club.
It was a very successful event with total of 80 players participating, nineteen team sponsors and the title sponsor for the event was Patel Brothers. The chief guest for the event was hon’ Consul General of India Dr. Swati Kulkarni.
After the round of golf, the attendees sat down to a fantastic dinner that was sponsored by ADDA Indian cuisine and sports pub.
During the dinner, NATA Executive Vice President Bala Reddy Indurti thanked all those that supported and especially thanked those companies who had sponsored Foursome teams and title sponsor Patel Brothers.
Following the dinner, awards were presented by chief guest Dr. Swati Kulkarni, NATA president Dr. Raghava Reddy Ghosala, AdvisoryCouncil member Dr. Adisesha Reddy, President Elect Dr. Sridhar Reddy Korsapati.

Samantha Posts Chaitanya’s Bare Chested Pic
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are holidaying in Spain.The couple are celebrating the success of “Majili” which has become highest grossing movie ever in Naga Chaitanya’s career. “Majili” collected nearly Rs 37 Cr.
Surprising everyone, Samantha has posted a photo of them cooling at a pool. She took a selfie with her husband who was not wearing shirt.
She happily posted Chaitanya’s bare chest picture with the caption, “I Love U 3000”.
Loving 3000 means Love You More. Samantha has updated these photographs on her social media handle.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha married each other three years ago. The couple had shared screen space in four movies.
Mahesh Babu-Vijay Devarakonda Collaborate?
Mahesh Babu is continuing as the Superstar of Telugu Cinema irrespective of hits and flops. He is also the Star who is endorsing maximum number of brands. Mahesh Babu ventured into business with AMB Cinemas. He also established a production house named as G Mahesh Babu Entertainment for which his Wife Namrata is the Managing Director. This Banner has already begun producing ‘Major’ starring Adivi Sesh in association with Sony Pictures International.
Even before the shoot of ‘Major’ was kickstarted, Mahesh Babu okayed a crazy project. None other than Vijay Devarakonda could be doing this movie. ‘Arjun Reddy’ Director Sandeep Vanga might direct it.
Actually, Mahesh Babu and Sandeep Vanga held talks after ‘Arjun Reddy’. There were speculations that Mahesh will play the role of a Mechanic and Kajal is going to be the female lead. However, That project hasn’t materialised at all. As a script narrated by Sandeep Vanga impressed Mahesh, Vijay Devarakonda was roped to play the male lead. While promoting ‘Maharshi’, Mahesh Babu told, ‘I wish to encourage good talent. If I like the story but can’t do that film, I am willing to cast any other hero and produce it’. May be, That’s why Vijay Devarakonda was roped. The presence of Rowdy at the pre-release event of ‘Maharshi’ could be an indication.

She flaunted her curves by donning the two-piece bikini and posed under the sun in an artistic manner on the shores of a beach in Goa. ‘Here’s to another year full of questionable decisions,’ wrote the Birthday Babe while sharing the treat.
On the professional front, Amyra Dastur kept on tasting failures one after the other. Neither ‘Rajugadu’ nor ‘Manasuku Nachindi’ fetched her success. She is now working for couple of Bollywood Films (Mental Hai Kya, Made In China) and a Tamil Flick (Oodi Oodi Uzhaikanum).
BJP predicts 110 seats for YSRCP in AP
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Muralidhar Rao predicted that the chances for YSR Congress’ victory will be more this time in Andhra Pradesh. YSR Congress would definitely bag 110 seats, he said, indirectly hinting that the party would form the government in the state. The 2019 polls would be the end of the road for the Telugu Desam Party as the National Democratic Alliance too had closed its doors permanently on the yellow party, he added.
On the other hand, he also predicted that Telangana Rashta Samithi (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s attempts regarding the Federal Front would also not fructify. He said that there is no opposition against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country. He said that the Modi wave would help the BJP win more set this time than in 2014. He said that the dissidents in opposition parties, planning to form an alliance at the Centre, are all with the BJP.
He explained that the BJP would compensate the loss of seats in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by gaining more in Tamil Nadu. His comments come at a time when the TDP has been alleging a secret understanding between the YSR Congress and the BJP, and how the saffron party has been doing everything to support Jagan-led party. Rumours in political circles are that his statements have indirectly proved the YSRCP-BJP understanding and has made it open.
Chandrababu meets Rahul Gandhi
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has met Congress president Rahul Gandhi at the latter’s residence in New Delhi. Chandrababu and Rahul discussed about the Supreme Court’s verdict on the VVPAT slips counting. The oppositions have knocked the Supreme doors and urged the court to direct EC to count at least 50 percent of VVPAT slips.
Chandrababu and Rahul also had a word about the polling trends of the five phases of the elections. They received a report from their respective sources and shared the thoughts on this. Insiders said that Chandrababu and Rahul had their views expressed on the post-election results and what strategies to put forward to restrict BJP from forming government. On this both would discuss again sometime in future.
After meeting Rahul, Chandrababu left to Kolkata to take part in the election campaign. Chandrababu is supporting Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress party.
Avatar Sequels Lined Up In Alternate Years
It is known that Disney has bought 21st Century Fox and everyone thought that they will release the much awaited sequel of ‘Avatar’ movie soon. But it seems like the fans have to wait for one more year now.
Directed by ‘Titanic’ fame James Cameron, ‘Avatar’ became a blockbuster and the audience have been eagerly waiting to watch the sequel film. Initially, December 2020 was supposed to be the release initial date, but the much-anticipated movie is postponed to December 17, 2021. Though this news has disappointed the fans, Disney has made the fans happy by announcing the dates of other sequels. ‘Avatar 3’ will release on December 22, 2023, whereas ‘Avatar 4’ is slated for December 12, 2025 release and ‘Avatar 5’ will hit the screens on December 17, 2027.
From 2021, ‘Avatar’ hungama is going to be started and the fans are super kicked about this. For every two years, Disney is going to enthrall the fans with the sequels.
