Rajamouli And TANA, What Went Wrong?

Two contradictory social media posts from TANA chief and Rajamouli have led the NRI fans into confusion. Because, actually Rajamouli was welcomed by TANA president Satish Vemana at the airport, whose pictures are now going viral.

And then there comes a clarification tweet from Rajamouli saying, “Friends, I have come to Washington on a personal work. Not for TANA convention. I might not even attend peddanna’s musical show. I do not want people to expect me at the convention and get disappointed. Hence the clarificarion (sic)”.

So, is it an coincidence that Rajamouli landed in the USA at a time when Satish Vemana and other TANA representatives are present at the airport? Some NRIs are however saying that they never knew Rajamouli was coming for the event, as TANA organizers did not mention it anywhere in the celebration details or in the guests list.

So it is probably a coincidence where TANA Organizers met Rajamouli at the airport while they were receiving other guests and respectfully welcomed him to the event for which Rajamouli must have clarified to end the dilemma.

“As there is no one to take the film deeper into people, I’ve been promoting it extensively. I hope Oh Baby will deliver the needful” is what Samantha said a couple of days ago when she was quizzed about the high intense promotions of the film she undertook.

And then, since last night, the actress would have slept barely a couple of hours, because she’s there all the time watching the reports on social media about ‘Oh Baby’. Though the Premiere Talk got a hit talk for the movie, she’s still unhappy and didn’t sleep well. And from the morning, she’s busy appreciating every single review of the film tweeted to her and replying to 100s of tweets as well.

She has even shared memes where they explained the feelings of Oh Baby team right now. Also, the actress earlier stated that she will be happy to see the grand First Day collections for the movie, and going by the word of mouth at theatres, all the first shows and second shows might help her see a mighty figure.

With ‘Oh Baby’ getting 3 and above stars from all quarters, surely Samantha will have a great time ahead at the box office. Responding to a Twitter query, she now says, “Finally, I’m going sleep”, though she’s still busy replying, retweeting and liking tweets.

It’s an excitement for Naga Chaitanya’s fans as the Akkineni hero picked up talented actresses like Samantha, Sai Pallavi, and Keerthy Suresh. But it looks like the actress picked for Bangarraju is not actually doing the film.

Apparently, it has come out that Keerthy Suresh signed Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming multi-starrer Bangarraju that will be directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. She was supposed to romance Chay in this movie, while Nagarjuna is looking at options like Pooja Hegde. But here comes the twist.

After listening to the full version narration, Keerthy is said to have got upset with the characterisation her role has and said no to the film, a source said. Though she has a good rapport with Akkinenis after doing that cameo in Manmadhudu 2, she didn’t trade that for Bangarraju. And now, Chay and his director are said to be looking for a new heroine.

Meanwhile, Chay is shooting for Venky Mama in Vizag with Raashi Khanna under KS Ravindra (Bobby) direction.

Bangalore bombshell Rashmika Mandanna is currently in the peak stage of her career. Already, she has done quite a few big projects in Telugu and is currently working for Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and Nithiin’s Bheeshma. She is also in consideration for Allu Arjun-Sukumar’s film.

Meanwhile, there are heavy attempts being made in Kollywood to rope in her for the Thalapathy Vijay’s next film. Lokesh Kanagarajan of Maanagaram fame will be directing this project. Initially, Rashmika has apparently rejected the offer as she is packed with many films in hand.

But it seems that the Tamil film’s makers have offered her a huge remuneration and requested her to sign the film. She is now being piad close to one crore for that film. Thus, Rashmika has signed the project and has adjusted her dates accordingly. Official news about this project is expected to be out very soon.

Raghu Kunche needs no introduction in the film circles. From being a TV programmes host to a once-upon-a-time successful music composer, Raghu Kunche made his own mark in the movie industry. Often times, he is seen on the big screen in small roles but for the first time, he decided to take up acting full-time and turned the lead antagonist for an upcoming Telugu movie titled Palasa 1978.

As a matter of fact, Raghu Kunche is not being considered by popular filmmakers. He is being restricted to some unnoticed small budgeted flicks that come and go without any notice. Just like the movies, his music is also going unnoticed. The actor’s last notable project as a music director is Puri Jagannath’s Devudu Chesina Manushulu.

Hence, Raghu is now eyeing on making a comeback to success as an actor. Karuna Kumar who earlier made Drona is directing Palasa and roped in Raghu for the villain role. Interestingly, Raghu will be playing four shades in this villain role and he will be presented in four different looks.

Energetic Star Ram and director Puri Jagannath have teamed up for the first time for the film ISmart Shankar. The shooting of this movie has been wrapped up and the post-production works are in the final stages. It is all set to hit the theatres worldwide on the 18th of July.

As the release date is nearing by, the makers are planning to promote it aggressively. In the process, they are holding the prerelease event on July 7th at Hayagrivachary Ground in Hanamkonda. They named event as Ismart Bonalu as it coincides with the ongoing Boanlu festival in Telangana.

From a long time, actually, if there is anyone who is waiting for Megastar Chiranjeevi with candles in his eyes, it is none other than director Koratala Siva. And it looks there is some clarity now over their upcoming project.

Though the Megastar is quite ready to roll this project immediately, it is already heard that director Koratala Siva gave two months to him to tone down. The latest update is that no matter whether Chiranjeevi gets into a new shape or not, he will be trying that only for two months. He will be out of action for two months and will kickstart shooting of the film from September 2nd week. Around same time, Chiranjeevi will also promote his latest movie Sye Raa, which deals with the story of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

Ever since the news got out that IT raids are being conducted by government officials along with CBI sleuths, there is a widespread belief that former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash has started using his Delhi clout to push My Home Jupalli Rameshwara Rao into trouble. Is this true?

It is true that TV9’s ousted CEO Ravi Prakash has written to various law enforcement and investigation agencies about the wrongdoings that happened in the selling of TV9 which includes various parties including ABCL and Alanda Media. However, the raids on Rameshwar Rao are not related to the issues of TV9 and neither Ravi Prakash’s letters or clout has anything to do with it, say sources.

Apparently, Rameshwar Rao’s My Home teamed up with Bangalore based RMZ Corp for a couple of ventures including that ongoing ‘Skyview’ venture. Both MyHome and RMZ are operating at 50:50 stakeholding in a couple of other projects too. And now, an IT investigation related to RMZ in Bangalore has led the sleuths to Hyderabad now, but there is no other motto, a media house revealed. Some IT officials are said to have revealed that the raids are a ‘routine’ one but there is nothing like investing a grave offence or something like that.
