KCR’s gift to turncoat MLA, Rs 5 cr land for Rs 50 lakh!

Share

In Telangana, MLAs from Opposition Congress, TDP or any other party defect to TRS saying that they are ‘attracted’ by the development and welfare schemes implemented by CM KCR. They also claim that they defected into TRS for the sake of the development of their constituency.

But when this issue is dug deep, the shocking revelations come out how KCR is offering ‘attractive packages’ for Opposition MLAs to join TRS.

In the latest instance, TDP MLA from Sathupally, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, announced to join TRS saying that people of Telangana want only KCR and TRS and for that reason he had decided to join TRS.

But it now came to light how Sandra stuck a ‘deal’ with TRS to change the party.

Sandra encroached 1,000 sq.yard plot belonging to government some 24 years ago. His house is adjancent to this encroached plot. Sandra extended his house to this encroached plot.

But in 2017, the TRS government damaged the structure built on this house and took possession of the land, when Sandra was TDP MLA.

But when Sandra offered to join TRS recently, the same encroached plot was offered to him.

KCR issued orders to revenue department to regularise the land for a paltry amount of just Rs 5,000 per square yard while the present market rate is over Rs 50,000 per sq.yard.

With this, Sandra got plot worth Rs 5 crore for just Rs 50 lakh.

The money that should belong to the public went to Sandra’s kitty.

The TRS government bought TDP MLA Sandra by spending Rs 5 crore public money.

Even Congress MLA Puvvada Ajay secured regularisation of 10,000 sq.yard land in 2016 for a cheaper rate after he defected into TRS.

Modi has ‘paranoid personality disorder’!

Share

Hyderabad: A senior Congress leader in Telangana on Friday alleged that Prime Minister Narender Modi is suffering from paranoid personality disorder.

“PM Modi has always displayed unhealthy pattern of thinking, functioning and behaviour. He had served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for three terms but enjoyed calling himself a ‘chaiwala’ (tea seller), a profession which he claimed to have practised in his childhood. Despite serving as India’s Prime Minister, he calls himself a ‘chowkidar’ (watchman),” said Telangana Congress unit Treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy.

“His speeches clearly reflect his pervasive distrust and suspicion of others and their motives which is a major characteristic of a person suffering from Paranoid Personality Disorder,” Reddy said in a statement.

Reddy said it was common that a person might not realize that he was having a personality disorder as his way of thinking and behaviour looks natural to him. Same is the case with Modi, he said.

“If Modi is not having issues pertaining to his mental health, then he is consciously and wilfully cheating the entire nation with his diversionary and divisive politics.”

The Congress leader advised the BJP leadership to convince Modi to undergo a full mental health check-up so that he could be cured of Personality Disorder or any other disease he may be suffering from, especially his tendency to hold grudges against all others.

Reddy condemned the suspension of IAS officer Mohammed Mohsin who checked the Prime Minister’s chopper in Odisha’s Sambalpur on April 16.

He said that the Election Commission had acted in haste in taking action against the IAS officer under provisions which does not exist.

All Naidu cabinet colleagues facing defeat?

Share

The fate of the candidates of all the political parties which contested the recent assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh held on April 11 is now sealed in the Electronic Voting Machines.

The people have given their verdict, but suspense remains till May 23 as to what the verdict is.

The candidates are going through tense moments, as political analysts are making their own calculations as to who would win and who would lose. And punters have made heavy betting on the prospective winners and losers.

Particularly, the fate of cabinet colleagues of Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has become the hot topic of political debates and a big point for betting activity.

According to a section of punters, almost all the cabinet colleagues of Naidu are going to lose –Ganta Srinivasa Rao in Visakhapatnam, Yanamala Ramakrishnu from Tuni, N Chinna Rajappa in Peddapuram, K E Krishna Murthy in Pattikonda, Kala Venkat Rao in Etcherla, K Atchen Naidu in Tekkali, Ch Ayyanna Patrudu in Narsipatnam, K S Jawahar in Kovvur, Pithani Satyanarayana in Achanta, Kollu Ravindra in Machilipatnam, Nakka Ananda Babu in Vemuru, P Narayana in Nellore, Bhuma Akhila Priya in Allagadda, Kalva Srinivasulu in Rayadurgam, N Amarnath Reddy in Palamaneru and Kidari Sravan in Araku.

The only ministers who are likely to win the elections are: Nara Lokesh in Mangalagiri, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy in Sarvepalli, Devineni Umamaheshwar Rao in Mylavaram and Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao in Bobbili. Of course, chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will win his seat in Kuppam.

Another section of punters say the chances of Lokesh and Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao winning their seats are also bleak.

Other ministers Ch Adinarayana Reddy from Jammalamadugu, P Ashok Gajapathi Raju from Vizianagaram and Sidda Raghava Rao escaped defeat in the assembly elections as they contested the Lok Sabha elections.

However, except Ashok in Vizianagaram, Adinarayana Reddy and Siddha Raghava Rao are sure losers in their respective Lok Sabha constituencies – Kadapa and Ongole respectively.

AP CM vs EC – Govt officials’ is in dilemma

Share

AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently held a review meeting on Polavaram project works and Capital infrastructure works which did not go down well with the Election Commission. Realising this based on the complaint by YSR Congress leaders, Election Commission sent orders to the state government that it cannot hold meetings.

The reason given by the Election Commission is that the Model Code of Conduct still stands in the state and hence, such meetings have to be restricted until May 23rd, the results day. Following this order by the EC, government officials and IAS officers are apparently confused.

On one side, the schemes and orders passed before the Model Code came into effect has become difficult to implement. Additionally, officials’ apathy giving model code as a reason has also created a lot of pending issues and grievances too are not being attended to.

On the other hand, IAS officers are confused whether they should attend the CM’s meeting keeping model code in mind or the fact that the Chief Minister would be angry with them. Looks like the Election Commission’s order has brought everything to a grinding halt. The moot question is: Should people’s grievances and issues also wait till the results are out?

Did TDP cadre mobilise Women voters?

Share

The high voter turnout in Andhra Pradesh and especially women stay at the polling booths until early hours next day has come as a pleasant surprise for everyone across the country. Despite malfunctioning of EVMs reported from many places, Election Commission’s laxity, many voters returned to the booths before 6 pm after an appeal was made to them.

While there has been news that high women turnout could indicate a pro-incumbency wave favouring the Telugu Desam Party, sources say that the TDP cadre has secretly mobilised women to ensure that they stay at the booths until their vote is cast. Most of the women who turned up at the booths are the beneficiaries of Pasupu Kumkuma scheme while the others turned up duo to gratitude towards the government.

Within minutes after the TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu made an appeal to voters, the TDP cadre mobilised across the state to motivate women to ensure that their vote is cast at the booth. In a coordinated efforts, entire party cadre made sure that these women and other voters get to the booths and stay there after the Chief election officer said that they would allow polling for all those who stay at the booths till 6 pm.

So, going by such huge mobilisation, will TDP have an advantage over the YSR Congress party which is already making arrangements for the big day? May 23rd will have the answer.

Kajal Aggarwal Spotted In Sri Lankan Casino

Share

Last year Kajal Aggarwal has completed a heap of films like Queen remake, Kavacham and couple of others and she is shooting non-stop till other day to wrap the songs of Teja’s Seetha. So how come she’s workless and spotted in a casino?

Apparently, the spicy senior actress has given her dates to Raviteja’s Theri remake, but the shooting that was supposed to start from April 15th got cancelled unexpectedly. And this led to Kajal being free and the ‘business’ minded actress has decided to make the best use of it.

Actually a day before the starting of Theri shoot, Kajal went to Bally’s Casino in Sri Lanka, a place famous for bringing Bollywood and Indian celebs for 1 hour interactions with their customers. As they offer huge paycheck for actresses, many of our hotties are regular visitors there. And Kajal too joined this year on 13th and 14th of April to celebrate Sinhalese New Year day there.

Rather coming back to India after this casino escapade, Kajal is actually continuing her holiday in Sri Lanka as her family flew there now. That’s how, going work less due to cancellation of Theri remake schedules, helped her take a vacation.

Modi’s Cheap Politics With ‘Surgical Strikes’ & ‘BC PM’

Share

It seems to be that politicians in the BJP have and a few others from political parties are least bothered about the Model Code of Conduct which prohibits them from showcasing government’s work as their party’s. However, political leaders don’t seem to think so. The BJP, ever since it took over in 2014, has been considering it as Narendra Modi’s government and not the Indian Government. At least, the saffron party leaders go drum rolling across the country claiming India is Narendra Modi and Modi is India.

In a similar fashion, recently Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his election campaign speeches has called the Indian Army “Modiji ki Sena,” without a care about the Model Code of Conduct. However, the Election Commission has warned Yogi and let him off while it has taken action on non-BJP leaders in other states for violating the model code. Now, the Prime Minister too has joined his bandwagon as he has sought all first time voters to vote for BJP because of the “Balakot terror strikes taken up by the Indian Airforce.”

During his election speech in Gujarat, he also said that the BJP government is a Mard sarkar (Masculine government) which hits the enemies without fear, highlighting the surgical strikes and Balakot strikes post Pulawama terror attack. “Pakistan did not know what Modi is like. It suspected that India could attack from the land or the sea route. But we did it from the air. And, for the first time, the world saw Pakistan weeping,” he said, again using the Airforce’s work and claiming it as his achievement.

Additionally, he also went ahead and played the BC card to hit back at the Congress. “They’re making fun of me because I belong to the Backward Caste and come from a humble background,” he said, while his comments did not go down well in the political circles as a person in a PM’s post is not expected to use his community and play victim card. He also openly claimed Gujarat will not prosper if he doesn’t become the PM again.

Surprisingly, he also announced financial assistance for Gujarat which did not incur huge losses due to recent rain and dust storm which damaged Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in large-scale. Apparently, sources in the PMO too were shocked at Modi’s open love for Gujarat while he has been neglecting other states, being a PM. Despite all of these statements bringing down the dignity of Prime Minister’s Post and some violating the Model Code, looks like the Election Commission is just trying to overlook the PM’s mistakes and be nice to the BJP.

YSRC suspects Naidu behind delayed polling?

Share

Soon after the elections in Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had raised a hue and cry over the inordinate delay in the commencement of polling in several polling stations in the state.

He alleged that the Election Commission authorities did not start polling in several booths even till afternoon on the pretext of malfunctioning of EVMs.

He even suspected a foul play in the replacement of defunct EVMs with new ones, stating that the replaced EVMs could have been manipulated.

Initially, the YSRC rejected these allegations saying there was no meaning in Naidu’s allegations against EC and everything went on well. The polling percentage was very high as the voters patiently waited till late hours to cast their vote.

But now, the YSRC leaders are suspecting that the polling was deliberately delayed in several constituencies at the behest of Naidu, who wanted to see that the percentage of polling would be less.

Apparently, they wanted to lodge a complaint with the EC over the role played by some polling officials in the delayed polling.

They are suspecting that even the EC authorities had helped Naidu in this regard. They are of the view that Naidu colluded with some polling officials in ensuring malfunctioning of EVMs.

“Even the returning officers were appointed by the TDP government and they fully cooperated with the ruling party,” they say.

London: Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle sported a sari and embraced traditional Indian culture, it has emerged in a never-before-seen footage of a trip she made back in January 2017.

The 37-year-old travelled to New Delhi and Mumbai shortly after her romance with Prince Harry went public as part of her work with the charity World Vision, reports dailymail.co.uk.

She was keen to highlight issues of gender equality and girls’ limited access to education in the country.

At the time of her trip, news of her romance with Prince Harry had only just emerged.

During the trip, Markle visited schools and helped to paint a mural and plant a flower in the gardens.

She wore a sari with shades of blue and green and also sported a traditional tilak on her forehead.

While on a visit to the school, Markle said: “What we found is that the enrolment at this school went up three times once the latrines were built so that girls had access to clean hygiene and bathroom facilities while they’re at school.”

She said some girls are forced to drop out of school because they don’t have “bathrooms available to care for themselves”.

During her trip, Markle took part in high level meetings with various NGOs, including an audience with Shamina Shafiq, a former member of the National Commission for Women.

She was also introduced to the Myna Mahila Foundation, which works with women and girls who live in Mumbai’s urban slums.
