Ravi Teja Rejects Good Scripts! What’s Up?

Share

While Shahrukh Khan is once the King of Bollywood, in recent days he has only delivered flops to his career including that of Harry Met Sejal, Raees, and Zero, which are directed by noted directors. This is because the hero is trying to bring unwanted heroism in every single movie.

Looks like even Telugu hero Raviteja is also having similar issues as he rejects some good scripts. Despite the fact that mass raja selected scripts after taking long breaks, his movies like Nela Ticket, Touch Chesi Choodu and Amar Akbar Antony ended up as miserable movies. This is because those films have that unwanted heroism, and also stuffed with all types of masala.

However, when some young directors who are delivering content-oriented films approach Raviteja, the hero is said to be rejecting them. Recently when producer Umesh Gupta of Aditya Music fame approached Ravi with a new director and good script, the hero rejected it right away. And this producer earlier made an interesting movie, Karthi’s Khaki.

Hope Ravi hasn’t lost another game changer movie like how he refused Pokiri script, which has later made Mahesh a superstar.

Rumour: Political Pressure At Peaks On This Comedian

Share

Bandla Ganesh has announced that he is quitting politics for good, which we do know already. It was publicised that as this comedian cum producer is in Congress party which is not posing to make any noise even in the parliamentary elections in Telangana, the comedian has quit. Is it really that?

Some reports are doing rounds that actually Bandla Ganesh is under severe pressure that he has finally decided to quit politics rather giving up to the demands of a powerful lobby. Actually, some big politicians from Telangana are said to be asking him (read it as ‘forcing him’) to throw satires on Pawan Kalyan for the Janasena president’s comments that rattled KCR and other Telangana leadership.

According to the grapevine, Bandla Ganesh was given an ultimatum to scold Pawan for calling that Hyderabad is not being a safer destination for Andhraites. As he is unwilling to criticize Janasena President, the comedian cum producer has chosen to quit politics itself. But still, will they leave him if he just quits politics?

We hear that Bandla is likely to go underground until elections in Andhra Pradesh get over.

Upset Heronie Hitting Gym For Six Hours

Share

One of the cutest heroines who made a splashing debut in Telugu is none other than Mallu beauty Anupama Parameswaran. After she reprised her role in the Telugu version of Premam, this beauty has no looking back here. The twist is that currently, she has no film in hands, except one.

While successes of films like A..Aa and Satamanam Bhavathi worked out well for her, later no other movie did any wonders. Back to back, she has tasted four flops in a row as films like Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Tej I Love U and Hello Guru Prema Kosame has bitten the dust. In the meantime, Anu also won a bit of criticism for putting on weight.

Now that she has only Rakshasudu movie with Bellamkonda Srinivas, this Mallu siren is hitting the gym daily. We hear that she is spending almost six hours every day in the gym and might soon come up with an unimaginable figure that youths will die for. Let’s see how ill she reinvent her career as well.

Manmadhudu Worried With Rakul Preet’s Film?

Share

The only film Rakul Preet has her in hand in Tollywood is Nagarjuna’s highly hyped sequel of Manmadhudu movie. But then, the trailer of this hottie’s latest movie is said to be worrying Nagarjuna and co a little.

Apparently, Rakul’s De De Pyaar De is something that is similar to what Manmadhudu 2 is going to offer. We hear that Manmadhudu 2 story is all about how an aged person in 50s will fall for a girl in her late 20s and what happens to his celibacy vow then. And then, the story of De De Pyaar De is also the same, except that Ajay Devgan is divorced years ago and now falls flat for Rakul.

Also with Rakul portraying a bindaas role in that Hindi version where she has flaunted extreme glamour as well, a similar characterization in Telugu might yield more trouble as people will say that the film’s story is copied. Currently, Nagarjuna and his director Rahul Ravindran are said to be assessing the situation.

Earlier Nagarjuna has a bad experience in 2013 with his ‘Greeku Veerudu’ as that film has the same storyline that of another Telugu movie. Sai Kumar son Aadi’s Sukumarudu also has the same story of a rich guy coming to a village for his property, thereby embarrassing the Akkineni senior.

Dil Raju gifts a car to his director?

Share

Ace Tollywood producer, Dil Raju, is eminently known for taking good care of his crew members. His generosity is hugely talked among the film industry. Reportedly, Dil Raju spent his own cash to send Anil Ravipudi’s F2 unit members on a recreational trip post the success of the film at the box office.

Director Venu Sri Ram, who made MCA movie with actor Nani, was produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateshwara Creations. The film did score well at the box office and received good response from Telugu audience. It is said that Venu has once again collaborated with Dil Raju for his next big project.

The story has been narrated to Allu Arjun and the actor reportedly said yes to the impressive script. This film is being produced under Dil Raju’s banner once again. Now, the latest update is that Dil Raju gifted Venu Sri Ram a luxurious car from Hyundai company. Earlier too, reports were rife that the producer gifted a plush car to Anil Ravipudi. However, the director rubbished the rumours.

Nevertheless, Dil Raju has always encouraged many talented/budding writers and directors in his career. We believe his noble gesture towards his team members is what makes him stand tall in the film industry.

Is Jagan indicating at patch-up with Congress?

Share

In an interview to a national media outlet, YSR Congress President Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy hinted at “forgiving” Congress and said that he has no grievances or vengeance against anybody. This is the first time that Jagan has hinted at a likely patch-up as “Congress has promised Special Status to Andhra Pradesh” in its manifesto.

When asked if he will think about the idea of holding talks with the Congress (either with Rahul or Priyanka), he said “I have no vengeance against anybody. I believe in god and I strongly believe that vengeance is not mine but for god to decide. I have forgiven them in my heart. My state is my priority and special status is my priority.”

Jagan has repeatedly reiterated that he is keeping his options open for a post-poll scenario and that he will ally with anyone who promises Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. Interestingly, this interview has revealed that YSRCP could explore a possible patch-up with the Congress if the party comes to power in the state and the Congress wins enough seats to form a government. Whatever the situation, Jagan is making the right moves!

NRIs Spending Huge On TDP Ads!

Share

Unlike any other political party in the Telugu states, the Telugu Desam Party has a huge following and fan base abroad in countries like the US, Australia, Japan, Singapore, UK and Canada. Non-resident Indians have always been supportive of TDP government”s works in Andhra Pradesh. Some have even gone to the extent of getting billboards and hoardings with messages of “Bring Babu Back” on America”s state highways.

The NRI community has strong backing of AP Chief Minister as they also donate funds to the party and participate in lot of development activities, village adoption and other programs. With elections just around the corner, Telugu Desam Party has been lucky to find several NRIs who are funding their campaigns. Around 1500 NRIs from the US, UK and Australia have been descending in huge numbers in the state ahead of elections. NRIs from approximately 50 countries are working on the ground to support the campaigns of the TDP.

The willingness and support of NRIs has come to boost the party”s morale as many are even making an effort to effectively communicate about TDP”s welfare programs and development works in the state. NRIs such as Komati Jayaram who is NRI TDP wing leader and a well-established businessman along with other wealthy NRIs have been spending hugely on television advertisements in Telugu news channels for the Telugu Desam Party. They are saturating all pro-TDP media outlets with these TV and digital media ads.

NRIs have also come out with a mobile campaign for TDP titled “Prachara Radham” which has a huge LED screen mounted atop a vehicle where messages of several NRIs to people of AP are being played in villages. These NRIs, whose videos are relayed on the LED screen, encourage voters to vote for the TDP for a “bright future.”

While mobile vehicles have been driving the TDP”s message in every district through “Prachara Radham,” NRIs have also been informing their family, friends and communities to vote for TDP through conference calls and extensive use of social media platforms. Well, TDP has quite the international might and outreach that a national party has!

Naidu’s big joke: 20 Hyderabads in AP!

Share

TDP chief and AP N Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘tall claims’ during his election campaigning in Andhra seem to have no end.

Though Andhra people are laughing and mocking at Naidu for his ‘unrealistic poll promises’, it did not prevent him from making more such promises.

Naidu, who is promising voters everything under the sun, if TDP is elected to power again, is now been promising to construct “20 Hyderabads” in AP, if he is made CM again.

Naidu has been making this announcement in all his election meetings for the past three days.

With this statement, Naidu is giving ‘free entertainment’ to AP people. As soon as Naidu is making this statement, AP people are bursting into laughter.

This is because Naidu failed to build even one capital city (Amaravathi) for AP in his full five-year term.

People question how can he build 20 Hyderabads, as Hyderabad is now 430-year old city and took four centuries time to reach the present stature of being an international and cosmopolitan city.

Let alone, constructing Amaravathi, Naidu could not build even a single permanent structure there in his five-year term except showing ‘graphics’ and ‘designs’ of Amaravathi city, to cheat AP people

All that Naidu could do during the last five years was constructing a temporary Secretariat, temporary Assembly building and few temporary structures to accommodate government staff in Amaravathi.

But Naidu now claims of building 20 Hyderabads in AP, if he is elected to power again.

Not only Andhra people, even people from across the world are mocking at Naidu for this ‘silly promise’ saying a person of a stature of Naidu, who was CM of Undivided AP for 10 years and CM of residuary state of AP for 5 years and over four decade long political career, is not expected to make such ‘fake promises’ of constructing 20 Hyderabads in AP.

But finally, they seem to have decided to take Naidu’s top claims in elections as ‘big jokes’ and enjoy for a while for free to relieve themselves from personal and professional tensions.

But Naidu does not seem to be realising this and continues to make this promise in every meeting evoking laughter from the public.

Modi claiming false credit for army actions!

Share

The Congress party called Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bluff, staking claim for the recent surgical strikes by Indian armed forces in Pakistan and boasting that it was only after Modi became the Prime Minister, the armed forces have become active.

Reacting to Modi’s speeches saying nothing had happened in the last 70 years, PCC leader Gudur Narayana Reddy alleged that the PM was trying to create a wrong impression that the Congress party had done nothing for the country in the last seven decades.

“His rhetoric gives a feeling as if India was born in 2014 and he was made the first Prime Minister,” he said.

He reminded that even before Modi was born, India had won a war with Pakistan and also merged more than 500 Princely States into the Union.

When Modi was about 15 years old, India had fought and won its second war with Pakistan and had reached up to Lahore driving away Pakistan forces.

Even before Modi celebrated his fourth birthday, the Government of India had created the Atomic Energy Establishment Trombay (AEET) on January 3, 1954. It was later renamed as Bhabha Atomic Research Centre on January 22, 1967.

“When Modi was just 11 years old, Indian Army liberated Goa from the Portuguese and it was made a Union Territory. A year later, French-ruled Pondicherry (now Puducherry) became part of India as a Union Territory,” he pointed out.

Modi was just 14-year-old when Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) was formed on October 1, 1964. It was a consortium of Hindustan Aircraft Limited and IAF Aircraft Manufacturing Depot, Kanpur who were already manufacturing aircrafts and helicopters.

It is the same HAL which was awarded the contract to manufacture Rafale. But Modi snatched the contract from HAL and gave it to his friend Anil Ambani, he said.

“When Modi was 19-year-old in 1969, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was founded. In the same year on October 28, Tarapur Atomic Power Station became operational generating initial power of 210 MW of electricity,” Narayana Reddy said.

When Modi turned 21 in 1971, India was fighting its third war with Pakistan. East Pakistan broke away from Pakistan and Bangladesh was born as an independent nation.

“It was India’s success in proving two-nation theory wrong. Unfortunately, Modi Government promoted hatred to encourage the beliefs that a nation could be formed on the basis of religion,” he said.

“When he was only 24, India conducted peaceful nuclear test at Pokhran in 1974. Much before Modi entered the electoral politics, India had its super computer and application of Information Technology was completed in all spheres of lives in India.

He also pointed out that much before Modi became the Prime Minister, India had already taken the initiatives for Chandrayan, Mangalyan, GSLV, Mono Rail, Nuclear Sub-Marine, Agni Missile, Chetak, MIG, Arjun Tank, Sukhoi, Dhanush, etc., Therefore, India was a powerful nation with a robust economy. The country was producing 3 lakh MW of energy.

“Modi and his bhakts would not have raised the question ’70 Saal Mein Kuch Nahi Huva’ if they would have read history,” he said.

Jagan Says He Has Forgiven Congress

Share

YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday sought to realign long-standing political equations when he said that he had forgiven the Congress for the way they had treated him in the past.

He hinted that he was not averse to joining hands with the Congress if the latter agreed to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

Talking to a TV channel he said, “I will be very candid to share that I don’t have any vengeance or any grievance against anybody.”

Stating that he has faith in God and that reads the Bible every day, he added, “I strongly believe that vengeance is not mine, it is for God to decide. I have forgiven them from my heart. As far as I am concerned, my state is my priority. Special category status is my priority.”

Until now, YRSCP had kept the untied opposition at an arm’s length and not attacked Narendra Modi and others during his rallies, leading to allegations by TDP that Jagan was supporting BJP.

His latest statement on Congress is being read as him leaving enough elbow room for a fresh manoeuvre.

“Special category status is my priority,” Jagan reiterated when asked if he had changed his mind about the Congress now that the grand old party is led by a new leadership.

The remarks gain political significance as the Congress is already in an undeclared alliance with Jagan’s main rival, TDP, in Andhra Pradesh. Also, Congress had contested assembly polls in Telangana last December in alliance with TDP.
