Devi Sri Prasad is known as Rockstar DSP and he enjoys that recognition kore than anything else. He even introduces himself at performances as such.Off late, his music hasn’t been equally popular as before and he doesn’t really come off as a person caring about it much.
SS Thaman did get a bit complacent and his work got trolled so much that Industry for a time period of 2 years showed no interest in his music.But he went on to score music for smaller films and then grew back in popularity as none others could sustain their initial success. He delivered a hit like Tholiprema but still he is trolled harder than anyone.
For the first time, DSP is feeling that heat. He maintained highest quality in his music for over 13 years since his debut but from past 4 years, his music quality has been declining.With each album he seems to have become complacent. Except for Rangasthalam, Khaidi No. 150, no audios of his, have really boosted the market of a film.
Now, his next big film, Maharshi is getting trolled because of him. He sang the first single released from the album. And his voice is being called names and his tune is said to be a recycle of his old songs.
Nitin’s Pan-India Flick Power Peta!
Nithin took a much needed break after the disastrous result of ‘Srinivasa Kalyana’. And now, He is back to share two sweet news for the movie lovers. Nithin teamed up with ‘Chalo’ fame Venky Kudumula to romance Rashmika Mandanna in ‘Bheeshma’. Though it’s not a total new update, The official announcement has arrived only now.
A surprise came in the form of Nithin kickstarting Production No.6 under his home banner. This Young Hero shares a good rapport with Director Krishna Chaitanya of ‘Rowdy Fellow’ and ‘Chal Mohan Ranga’. These Two decided to come together again upon locking a promising script. Nithin went a step ahead and took the call to produce the film on his Shresht Movies banner.
The most exciting part is that it’s going to be a Pan-India Film. For the first time ever, A film-starring Nithin will be releasing in there languages. Krishna Chaitanya worked on this unique script for an year to make it a memorable film. ‘Power Peta’ is the title fixed for this movie. It’s like using half of the ‘Power Star’ tag though its not intentionally done.
Nithin declared ‘Power Peta’ is the most ambitious and challenging film of his career. He informed that shoot begins from year end and the release will be in Summer 2020.
NTR Biopic Flopped…SHE Didn’t!
Vidya Balan essayed the role of Nandamuri Basavatarakam in both ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’. The entire biopic was narrated from Basavatarakam angle. Initially, Makers thought of releasing NTR Biopic in other Indian language making use of Vidya Balan’s pan-India appeal. They, however, dropped the idea after receiving a shocking result in the Telugu circuits.
NTR Biopic might have failed miserably, but Vidya Balan didn’t…she received critical acclaim for her performance in the emotional scenes. Once again, Vidya showed her acting calibre with this movie.
Post her marriage, Vidya Balan was mostly approached for women-centric films which don’t have a huge reach. She expressed her willingness to do any kind of roles through NTR Biopic. That is why Filmmakers have been considering the name of Vidya Balan for the biopics of Jayalalithaa and Mamata Banerjee. Pan-India Appeal of Vidya will come in handy to increase the reach of the biopic. Of course, The end result depends a lot on how well they have been made.
Devarakonda Not To Explore Digital Space
Web Series is an interesting medium to portray the talent of filmmakers. A lot of young filmmakers are making use of this platform and even mainstream actors are also testing their luck with the same. Already the actors like Madhavan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar forayed into the projects being streamed on digital platforms. A lot of Telugu actors also ventured into the digital medium but Vijay Devarakonda is showing no interest.
Yesterday, Vijay Devarakonda participated in an event at Mumbai where he was asked about his entry into the digital space. Vijay Devarakonda has straight away replied everyone that he is not going to venture into digital space. Vijay said that he does not want the audiences to catch him on the small screen. But, he added that he might venture into the production in the digital space.
Right now, Vijay is working on two interesting projects. The first one is Dear Comrade and the second one is an untitled project in the direction of Kranthi Madhav.
Sukumar’s Absence Worrying Fans
Sukumar is the successful director in the film industry. Usually, a director who delivered a hit is always on demand and Sukumar has also experienced the same when he delivered a hit after Rangasthalam that released today a year ago. Mahesh Babu immediately locked Sukumar for his next project but unfortunately, the project is called off now due to creative differences.
It was completely Sukumar’s mistake to let the project go off from his hands. Mahesh immediately okayed a project for Anil Ravipudi. Allu Arjun accepted to work with Sukumar but the film’s script is not ready yet. Allu Arjun will be working in a film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas now and will immediately start working on Venu Sriram’s film.
Sukumar needs six months time for finishing the script which means that he can only start his film next year and will release by the end of 2020. It is completely evident that Sukumar is not going to treat the audiences this year and he has to keep his fans waiting for almost two years for coming up with a new movie.
Why is Modi wasting time, asks KTR
Telangana Rashtra Samithi, which had conquered the state assembly elections held in December, has started feeling that it has the patent rights over Telangana and no other party has any right to seek votes from the people in the state.
But in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections are posing a different scenario in the state politics. Despite the strong position which the TRS is in, the Congress and even Bharatiya Janata Party are said to be giving a tough fight in some constituencies and there is no surprise, if both the parties would be able to win a couple of seats.
For example, the Congress is said to be having fair chances of winning Bhongir and Chevella constituencies while giving a tough fight to the TRS in Nalgonda, Mahabubabad and even Malkajgiri constituencies.
On the other hand, the BJP is also fancying the chances of winning Secunderabad and Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha seats. That is precisely, why both Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have chosen to address public rallies in these constituencies to attract voters.
This has obviously made the TRS anxious and angry. TRS working president K T Rama Rao is making every effort to play down the chances of two national parties by making sharp comments against them.
On Saturday, KTR took to twitter to take pot shots at Modi saying the Prime Minister was simply wasting his precious time.
“Dear @narendramodi Ji, instead of wasting your precious time criticising TRS in Mahbubnagar (where BJP had lost deposit 3 months ago), people of Mahbubnagar would have been happier to hear you announce national project status for their lifeline Palamur Lift Irrigation Project.“
KTR was reacting sharply to Modi’s comment on twitter: “Sought support for BJP at the rally in Mahbubnagar. The haste with which the Telangana Assembly was dissolved is inversely proportional to the speed with which the state got Ministers to work. For TRS, dynasty and astrology come before working for citizens.”
India’s most beautiful actress to take up direction soon
Former Miss World(1994) and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has been hugely accepted by every corner of the world for her goddess-like beauty, her unparalleled self-confidence, and for her acting prowess. Being one of the most lovable actresses, Aish was seen in a few films even after giving birth to her daughter, Aaradhya.
In one of her recent media interactions, Aishwarya said, “There are a lot of talks happening about production. I have been getting feedback from many people, so, it’s encouraging. However, I haven’t seriously dwelled on this thought.”
She also quoted that she has worked in the industry for several years now. Calling herself an extremely committed actor, Aish said that the role she played in the past demanded the enormous commitment and she absolutely did the justice. A question on direction made the actress react by saying, ”I do want to direct a movie someday. The work is in talks but never really set time and energy to work on it. Now, I should be seriously thinking about it. My colleagues have always teased me on not turning into a producer or director and make a film of my own. So, in the near future, I should be able to live up to it.”
Aishwarya, who never failed to impress the audience with her adorable acting and dance, is now generating huge hopes that she would soon enter directors league.
Actress supports her father joining Congress
After BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha’s decision on quitting the current party and joining the Congress has been made, his daughter and actress Sonakshi Sinha has now come in support of her father. She said that her father should have taken the decision of quitting the party a long time ago because he was not getting the respect he deserved.
In spite of Shatrughan Sinha is a two-time MP from Patna Sahib, he was denied BJP ticket from the constituency and instead, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has been fielded from Patna Sahib. Therefore, Shatrughan met Congress president Rahul Gandhi and declared his plans of joining the Congress.
In fact, Shatrughan Sinha has made a few remarks on Modi last month and generated speculations on his stay in the party. In March, he called the whole Balakot airstrikes as tamasha and asked to end it. He demanded for more details on the attack and the number of terrorists killed.
Also, a tweet in Urdu by Sinha suggested that he is not willing to work under PM Modi’s led BJP. He even slammed BJP president Amit Shah when the announcement on his Gandhinagar nomination has been made. He argued that senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani should have been considered instead of Amit Shah.
TDP won’t get more than 30 seats in AP?
There has been a talk for the last few days that ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh headed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will lose the ongoing assembly elections in the state.
Several national and regional media houses and independent agencies, which conducted their pre-election surveys, have unanimously concluded that TDP will be defeated in the elections and YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will be the next chief minister of AP.
Most of these surveys have predicted that YSRC will get 110-120 seats, while the TDP will end up with 50-60 seats in the 175-member state assembly.
Only a few agencies predicted that there would be neck-to-neck fight in the elections. Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena will either draw blank or win a maximum of 3-5 seats.
In the Lok Sabha elections, too, the YSRC is expected to get 17-22 seats, while the TDP will win three to seven seats.
But an independent survey purported to have been commissioned by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Andhra Pradesh is learnt to have given astonishing results.
According to the sources, the survey commissioned by KCR has predicted that Naidu’s TDP will get seven to eight Lok Sabha seats, but will fare extremely bad in the assembly elections.
“The TDP will end up with just around 30-40 seats in the assembly. Under any circumstances, its tally will not go beyond 40,” the survey predicted.
If KCR’s predictions are true, it will be a disaster in waiting for the TDP!

Superstar Mahesh Babu and the team of ‘Maharshi’ are delighted with the wonderful response to the first song from the movie, ‘Choti Choti Baatein.’ Seems like Mahesh is still in the hangover and shared the other version of the song.
Mahesh took to his official Twitter handle and shared couple of pictures of his along with darling and doting daughter Sithara. It was from the sets of ‘Maharshi’ and Mahesh is seen sitting next to her and listening to whatever she is saying. Sithara often visits Mahesh’s shooting places and this acts like a stress buster for him and that is why he mentioned ‘My All Time Stress Buster’ in the hashtag.
‘Maharshi’ is Mahesh’s 25th film and massive expectations are on the movie. Being directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film is gearing up for release on May 9th.
Samantha Bids Goodbye To Those Films
In an anticipated way, gorgeous beauty Samantha Akkineni has decided to bid adieu to films. Nope, she’s not going away from movies, but she will not be doing those kinds of films that won her stardom for years.
Speaking with Telugu media folks on the eve of her Majili release next week, Samantha revealed that she doesn’t want to do commercial films anymore. “At least now, I don’t want to rush and do 4-5 films a year. Now I will choose stories wisely as my judgemental skills are improved a bit” says Samantha.
When quizzed as to why she told that commercial films are always part of her life post the success of Rangasthalam, Samantha stunned with her reply. “Look at the success of Super Deluxe now. My role is getting huge appreciation and I want to do something challenging in that way” she avers.
Currently waiting for her ‘Oh Baby’ to hit cinemas in Summer, Samantha wants to take break in April and will be then starting to shoot for 96 movie remake afterwards.
PM Modi went to Pak to eat Biryani: Priyanka Gandhi
Once again, the Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s actions by claiming that he had gone to Pakistan in 2015 to eat biryani. Yesterday, Priyanka went to interact with students at the Sun Beam Public school in UP. The day before yesterday, PM Modi quoted during his election campaign that Pakistan will applaud if Congress wins the Lok Sabha elections. In response to that, Priyanka Gandhi said, “It’s their view.”
Priyanka added that Modi made a surprise visit to Pakistan in December 2015 to meet his then counterpart Nawaz Sharif and also ate biryani. Later, she said that she would not offer prayers at the Ram temple in Ayodhya as it was sub-judice in court.
Priyanka is currently on her election campaign in UP and covered a distance of over 15 km on her roadshow. In fact, few posters have been raised in the city which read,’Indira Gandhi returns’.
