Ram Gopal Varma has proudly declared that Lakshmi’s NTR will hit the screens for Republic Day weekend. Thereafter, Indications were given that it will clash with ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’. After that, Varma assured trailer of Lakshmi’s NTR will be screening in theatres during the interval of NTR Biopic Part 2. None of those claims had come true and people stopped taking the publicity stunts of RGV seriously.

As per the Trade Buzz, Makers wanted to release Lakshmi’s NTR on March 15th but now its been delayed till March 22nd.

Due to the failure of NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu, Distributors and Exhibitors are reluctant to offer fancy prices for Lakshmi’s NTR. Even the poor track record of RGV has become a major factor. Theatrical Business of Lakshmi’s NTR is yet to be closed. Producer hasn’t received any lucrative offer from the Distributors so far. All these factors could affect the release of Lakshmi’s NTR.

Exhibitors are worried about the aftereffects of screening Lakshmi’s NTR when TDP is in power. Don’t be surprised if Makers delay the release until the end of May 2019.

Miffed with this move, we hear that Ashwini Dutt went to Film Chamber for a settlement and director Vikram has got directed to pay 1.5 crores to the veteran producer.

A buzz is being heard in this connection that this ‘fine’ amount is being shared by Nani, Vikram and producer Mythri Makers as well. Because if Nani and Mythri agree to work for Ashwini Dutt’s banner, then Vikram will not be in this position of paying a price now.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has been staying away from own production lately. He is yet to launch a movie post Jai Lava Kusa.

He is currently doing movies for other production houses and not in plans to launch any movie on NTR Arts in the near future.

Kalyan Ram lost huge money in movies like Kick 2 and Ism and is currently happy to get paid for his work. He is trying to recover losses through signing multiple projects.

His 118 is releasing today and Kalyan Ram already has two movies in the pipeline.

Sriwass of Saakshyam fame will be directing Kalyan Ram’s next film for People Media Factory.

Kalyan is also in talks with a debutant director Vasishta for a family entertainer.
