H4 EAD Removal Proposal, Now In White House

The US white house has formally received the proposed changes in the regulations to end the work authorization of H1-B spouses (H4 EAD), which could impact as many as 90,000 Indians in the USA.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has sent this proposal to the White House of management for budget on Wednesday.
The White House needs to take a final call on it and it carries out a review of the regulation only after taking inputs from various agencies. This process could take weeks to months before the White House issues its final decision on H4 EAD removal.
According to USCIS, the proposal will not be final until the review and comment process is complete. If the White House agrees to the proposal to end H1-B spouse work authorization program, the regulation would be published in federal register and allow a 30 day comment period, after which the change comes to action.
Forget Bikini Pics, Watch NTR Biopic!!

Sizzling in glamorous roles will earn huge work and pay, but pulling off the character artist roles is somewhat tough for many heroines. Some beauties, however, could sizzle in both the types.
The name Poonam Bajwa rings us of films like Modati Cinema and Nagarjuna’s Boss, which have hit cinemas a decade ago. Later she went to Tamil films and though appeared in glam roles, nothing worked out. And recently her pics from the pool are super trending in film circles as the 30-year-old is looking for a breakthrough in films.
However, she has sprung a surprise appearing in the role of legendary NTR’s elder daughter Garapati Lokeswari. Not many identify that it is Poonam, but actually, she appeared quite serene and dignified in that character, and also delivered the needful with just simple expressions.
Probably if filmmakers watch NTR Biopic, they will forget Poonam as that lady chilling out in bikinis, and cast her for supporting roles for sure. So, will this hottie get ready to play such roles in other films?
#NTRBiopic: Those Three Outshined Everyone

Finally, the much awaited #NTRMahayanakudu is also out in theatres and everyone is waiting for the audiences to give their verdict. But the initial reports are indicating that this film is full of surprises for film lovers who expected it to have every frame centered on Nandamuri Balakrishna.
For people who thought that there will be Balayya all over the film, the presence of three other stars in some strong content-driven roles is quite astonishing. Firstly we have to talk about Vidya Balan, who has played NTR’s wife Basavatarakam and delivered a terrific performance. In some scenes, you can’t take eyes off her natural performance.
Secondly, it is Marathi actor Sachin Khedekar who wore the shoes of former CM and NTR’s founding member of Telugudesam party, Nadendla Bhaskara Rao. In giving that varied dimension to the film, in excelling as a politician who suffered from insecurity and loved the CM chair than serving people, he has portrayed a myriad of emotions in an intense manner.
And then comes the third one, which none are expecting to take the major slick of the cake. He is Rana Daggubati, who played the role of Chandrababu Naidu in NTR biopic. He has simply stunned with his mere ability to look into the camera and convey his complex thoughts.
Definitely, these three are a huge revelation in the film, other than Balayya, who has excelled in the role of his father NTR quite comfortably.
Pic Talk: The Real Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy

In the wake of Megastar Chiranjeevi coming up with the magnum opus #SyeRaa, which deals with the story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who fought against the anarchic British East India Company quite bravely, his story is getting quite popular.
Known as the first ever patriot who turned against the tyrannous Britishers, Uyyalawada got hanged by the English people on February 22nd, 1847, a century prior to India got independence. As it happens to be the death anniversary of Uyyalawada, today #SyeRaa team shared the original picture of the freedom fighter.
The British have brought the monochrome photography to Indian back in 1830s, though official records indicate that we got the camera in 1855. However, this photograph of Uyyalawada proves that there was photography in 1830s and 40s itself as this Zamindar got one clicked.
NTR Mahanayakudu makes a decent start in the US

The second part of ‘NTR’ biopic has hit the screens on Friday all over the globe. The USA premieres are underway too and so far the movie has collected $ 89,064 from 98 locations as of 10 PM PST. ‘NTR – Mahanayakudu’ has released in 119 locations in the US and in majority of the locations, premieres received a good response.
These collections are just preliminary and so we can expect the number to bigger as the day progresses. Considering the weekend, ‘NTR’ is likely to have a good show in the US.
Also in the domestic market i.e, Telugu states with no big releases, the film will definitely performance above expectations.
‘NTR – Mahanayakudu’ showcases the political life of the legendary actor and also the beautiful tale of NTR and his best Nandamuri Basavatarakam.
Lagadapati Clarifies on Contesting

Lagadapati Rajagopal has clarified on contesting elections. He has made it clear that he will not contest in the coming general elections. Amidst rumours that Lagadapati Rajagopal would be in fray from Eluru Lok Sabha constituency or Nuzvid, he has cleared the air stating that he wouldn’t be contesting in coming polls. Lagadapati said he has no plans to contest in the coming general elections.
Although Lagadapati had vowed not to comeback to politics after he had took Political Sanyas after the state bifurcation, his recent statement during Telangana elections has triggered strong speculation that he would be returning to active politics. During Telangana Assembly elections, Lagadapati has responded to a question and stated that he would consider contesting the Lok Sabha polls, but not Assembly polls. However, when asked further he had reasoned that he wouldn’t contest from AP but had said he would like to contest from Telangana. He had said he had been getting requests from several people in Telangana to contest from there.
After TRS won with a thumping majority in Telangana Assembly polls, Lagadapati has dropped his plans of contesting for Lok Sabha in Telangana (Hyd & Rangareddy districts). Now that he has also clarified that he will not be in fray from either Eluru or Nuzvid, it is clear that he will be out of 2019 elections.
Director Kodi Ramakrishna is Dead
Well-known director Kodi Ramakrishna, who was hospitalized and was critical, has succumbed to his ill health. Kodi Ramakrishna has breathed his last on Friday (Feb 22, 2019) at a private hospital where he was treated.
He was admitted to a hospital in Gachibowli on Thursday after he fell sick. He was put on a ventilator.
Kodi Ramakrishna’s films had been famous for graphics, high visual effects. Ammoru, Devullu, Devi, Arundhati are a few blockbuster films directed by him. Devi was the launch film of popular music director Devi Sri Prasad.
Born on 23rd July in Palakollu of West Godavari district, Kodi Ramakrishna had made his directorial debut with popular film Intlo Ramaiah Veedhilo Krishnaiah and there was no looking back for him since then. The film had reflected the lives of middle-class people and beautifully captured those moments. His second film was Mangamma Gari Manavudu with Balakrishna and the film had given a new image to Balayya back then. Aahuthi

Even before Telugu film industry is yet to come to terms with his loss, the untimely demise of Kodi Ramakrishna is a huge loss to the industry and director fraternity.
No takers from T’Congress for this Parliament seat!

Leaders from the Telangana Congress party are not coming forward to contest from this Parliament segment. Leave about contesting, at least they are not even showing interest in sending their application to the TPCC or the Congress high command. Telangana has 17 Lok Sabha seats and for 16 of them, 379 members are in race. But for this Lok Sabha seat, only one person had applied and he is an ordinary ‘Karyakartha.’ Which constituency is this and why are leaders hesitating? Here is the story.
The Lok Sabha segment is Nizamabad. Congress leader Madhu Yashki had represented this constituency in 2004 and 2009. Due to Telangana sentiment factor, he lost in the 2014 and this time he doesn’t want to contest. Well, the reasons are unknown but Madhu Yashki’s action speaks something else. Seven assembly constituencies fall under Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat. Madhu Yashki did not campaign for a single ‘Mahakutami’ candidate and eventually, TRS won all the seven seats.
As he did say to the insiders that he is not willing to contest for Nizamabad Lok Sabha, there are no takers as well with no proper leadership in the district due to group politics. The only hope is Shabbir Ali but none from TPCC knows what his intentions are and is he interesting in going to the Parliament. 2019 is quite crucial for Congress and this attitude doesn’t bring the desired results. The Congress high command is now confused now whom to give ticket in the coming elections.
Nithiin on Hanuman Deeksha; dons mala

Not only on-screen, but actor Nithiin is also a sincere devotee of Lord Hanuman off-screen. He was seen in Sri Anjaneyam movie which is a devotional flick on Hanuman.
Currently, the actor is said to be on Hanuman Deeksha and religiously following all the do’s and don’ts of this sacred practice. Nithiin took this news to his Twitter account by speaking a few words on his spirituality. He said he is blessed to be a part of this Deeksha.
He posted a picture of him wearing two strands of mala on his neck and with a caption, “Waking up at 5 AM and starting my day with beautiful Sree Anjaneyam songs followed by poojas. All these Divine vibes are so spiritual refreshing”.
Nithiin was last seen in Srinivasa Kalyanam and is now busy shooting for his next movie called ‘Bheeshma’ under Venky Kudumula’s direction.
Oops! Pawan’s Heroine Eyeing At Glamour Roles?

After taking a pause from films, generally, heroines look at character roles such that they could extend their career for a couple of years. While some excelled in such roles, some are just out of the scene with one or two films.
Right now Mumbai beauty Bhoomika Chawla became a talk of the town for the kind of signals she is giving to the tinsel town regarding her choices. Apparently, she has shot to fame after Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi turned an epic blockbuster and worked with all big stars for the next 5-8 years. Later she got married to yoga guru Bharat Thakur and was out of the scene.
Though Bhoomika made her comeback with Nani’s MCA, definitely offers are not pouring for her as the flop show of films like U-Turn and Savyasaschi resulted in a slow down. However, if her latest photoshoot is anything to go by, the 40-year-old wants to do heroine roles it looks like.
When Kareena Kapoor, who is a year younger than Bhumika, is still doing those hottest heroine roles, why shouldn’t Bhumika pull off such is the question of her fans. Will Tollywood embrace her as a glamour star now? Only time has the answer.

KCR not to hand over power to KTR?
Going by the latest talk in the political circles, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is not going to give up his chief minister post to make way for his son and party working president K T Rama Rao, at least in the near future.
Instead, KCR will continue to remain the chief minister of Telangana, while trying to play a key role at the national level.
Apparently, he has taken a cue from other chief ministers like Naveen Patnaik, Mamata Banerjee and H D Kumaraswamy.
He reportedly told his party colleagues that he had not taken seniors including his son KTR and Harish Rao into the cabinet, only because he wanted to utilise their services to the maximum extent in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. Once the elections are completed, they would be back in the cabinet.
It would mean it is unlikely that KTR will not become the chief minister after the Lok Sabha elections, as was predicted by the party people as well as the media.
He would continue to be the working president and a minister in the cabinet, nothing more than that.
Apparently, KCR took the decision to continue as the chief minister as he realised that there is nothing much he can do at the national level because of the polarisation of parties as pro- and anti-Bharatiya Janata Party; and as such, there is little scope for the emergence of a federal front.
There are clear indications that the BJP-led NDA government might be back to power with a reduced mandate and the TRS with 15-16 MPs would have a greater role to play in the NDA government.
In such a situation, it would be better to secure a Cabinet post for his daughter K Kavitha, rather than he being an ordinary MP or a Union minister.
“He would have greater respect at the Centre as the chief minister of the state rather than a Union minister. So, he decided to stay back in the state,” a source said.
KCR waives crop loans up to Rs 1 lakh
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday announced waiver of all crop loans up to Rs 1 lakh taken by farmers before December 11 last, when the results for the state assembly elections were announced.
KCR presented the vote-on-account budget in the state assembly in the capacity of finance minister, for the first time.
He said since the Central government had presented vote-on-account budget, there was no clarity on the future policies of the Centre.
“Hence, the state government also has gone for vote on account budget. After the elections and Centre’s budget, state government would be presenting the budget,” he said.
KCR made a budgetary allocation of Rs 20,107 crore for agriculture. He said as promised before the recent elections, all crop loans till December 11, 2018, to the tune of Rs 1 lakh would be waived off and for this, the government has allocated Rs 6,000 crore in the current budget. The loan waiver would be done in a phased manner.
He said under the Rythu Bandhu scheme, the financial assistance has been s increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 5000 per acre per season, as promised before the elections. An amount of Rs 12,000 crore has been allocated for the same. Similarly, an amount of Rs 283 crore was allocated under Rythu Beema.
“These two schemes infused a lot of confidence among the farmers,” he said.
The other major allocations are: Kalyana Lakshmi- Rs 1,450 crore, Unemployment allowance Rs 1,810 crore, for SC welfare Rs 16,581 crore, for ST welfare Rs 9,825 Crore and for minority welfare Rs 2,400 crore.
The amount of pensions being given under Asara scheme has been increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 2016 per month.
The fiscal deficit of Telangana has been pegged at Rs 27,749 crore which is 2.81 per cent of GSDP, whose growth rate increased to Rs 10.4 per cent from 4.2 per cent.
Under double-bed room scheme, KCR said till now 272763 houses were in different stages of construction. Now new scheme of providing financial assistance to the people wanting to construct houses on their vacant lands.
Under Mission Bhagiratha, 19,750 households were provided taps. In the remaining, the works are going on and by end of April, 100 per cent works would be completed.
For irrigation department, an allocation of Rs 22,500 crore was made. He said the Central Water Commission and Finance Commission have appreciated the government for the speed of irrigation projects.

Naidu’s comments amount to sedition!
BJP leaders led by former chief secretary I Y R Krishna Rao complained to Governor E S L Narasimhan against Naidu and demanded that a suo motto case be filed against the TDP supremo.
Soon after the Pulwama attack, Naidu commented that there were doubts on the attack due to the timing before elections. His party demanded an SC-monitored inquiry into the terror attack.
“We want to know the facts behind it and the nation wants to know why the attack happened. It is intelligence and Modi government’s failure,” Naidu said.
Taking objection to Naidu’s remarks against Modi in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack, the BJP leaders demanded an apology from Naidu to the nation.
“It is objectionable that Naidu, who is holding an important constitutional position, made baseless anti-nationalistic remarks and allegations against Modi,” he said.
He said Naidu’s remarks were nothing short of sedition and an attempt to disintegrate the sovereignty of the country.
“The remarks and allegations made by Naidu are not just politically motivated. Unfortunately, such remarks and allegations at this crucicial juncture are highly unwarranted and anti-nationalistic,” Krishna Rao said.
