Jagan Upset with ‘Anna Pilupu’?
To divert the neutral voters towards YSR Congress party, Jagan has initiated a program called ‘Anna Pilupu.’ As part of it, he is holding discussions with them, also assuring that his government will fulfil all the promises that it would make during the elections.
This strategy is proposed by political expert Prashant Kishor who was hired by YSRCP couple of years back. About 70,000 neutral voters from all the districts in Andhra Pradesh were identified by Prashant Kishor and team.
To each one of them, Jagan personally wrote letters and invited them to come up with their list of demands and development ideas of their constituencies. Accordingly Jagan met neutral voters from Tirupathi, Kadapa and Anantapur. However in the Anantapur neutral voters meeting YSRCP cadre deployed their own party workers instead of neutral voters.
Out of the 300 members, 170 were YSRCP workers and in the meeting, they constantly appealed to Jagan to change the candidate of Singanamala constituency. Jagan got to know that in this meeting, a majority of them are his party workers and is upset with his cadre for their poor planning. He reportedly told them that this is not the way he wanted to conduct ‘Anna Pilupu.’
Seems like YSRCP cadre is not convinced with the idea which can play a very key role in the elections.
KTR meets ‘Chaush’, ice-gola seller near his school
When Mohammad Mahboob Ali tweeted to TRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao that an old man ‘Chaush’ who sells ice-gola near St. Georges Grammar School, he did not expect a reply from him. Fortunately, for him, he received a reply from KT Rama Rao saying it would be a pleasure to meet the old man.
In a tweet, KTR said: ‘was a pleasure meeting Syed Ali aka ‘Chaush’; gentleman who used to sell Ice Gola (chaush) at my school in Abids. Promised him support from my side.’ In the meeting, Syed Ali informed KTR that due to old age, he is unable to work and hence, requested KTR to show him a way.
KTR apparently assured the old man that the government will provide him a house and old-age pension. KTR’s tweets and making the meeting a reality has won him praise from netizens. Several people of Twitter praised KTR for ‘such a heart-warming gesture,’ while some of them posted a picture of KTR with his friend at St. George’s Grammar School.
J&K Terror attack: 30 jawans martyred
At least 30 jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were martyred in a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) attack in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir. The death toll is feared to be raised. Dreaded terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed responsibility for the attack.
This attack is being termed as the most deadliest in 15 years in the terror-stricken state. The attack targeted a 70-vehicle CRPF convoy on the Srinagar-Jammu highway this evening. A suicide bomber crashed his SUV loaded with explosives into a CRPF bus, which had 39 jawans on board. Jaish-e-Mohammad identified the suicide bomber as Adil Ahmad Dar.
This dastardly attack has been vehemently condemned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress Working President Rahul Gandhi and several national and state level leaders. The attack is being seen as a blow to the ruling BJP ahead of the upcoming general elections.
Rakul’s Wait Wasted With This Move!!
After scoring the last hit in 2016 with Dhruva, hottie Rakul Preet had a bad 2017 with most of her films like Winner and Spyder ending up as flops, and others as average fares. For that reason, she took a break from South films in 2018, especially from Telugu movies.
However, she has heaped a lot of expectations on her other day’s release “Dev” where she got paired with Karthi for the second time after super hit film Khakee. But the film got bombed at the box office with poor reviews and bad talk of mouth hitting it big time.
While Rakul kept saying that she is choosing her films carefully for which she is not able to sizzle back to back in Telugu, it wonders many as to how she has chosen a film like Dev where she has nothing to do with the story. In fact, the film itself is pumped with some scenes but not a solid story.
We have to say that Rakul got her first move wasted as there are many eyes looking at her for that grand entry. In her next, she will be seen in Surya’s NGK and Naga Chaitanya’s Venky Mama.

Superstar Mahesh is all set to entertain us big time with “Maharshi” this April. And this Vamsi Paidipally directorial is all about societal issues and deals the transformation of a man to maharshi (great person). But what are Mahesh fans really looking for?

Ranbir-Alia enjoy a private dinner on V-Day
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been spending a lot of time together lately, enjoyed a private dinner on Valentine’s Day.
The couple has been busy shooting for their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’ but even in their hectic schedule, the duo never misses a chance to spend time with one another.
Taking to Instagram, Ranbir’s personal chef shared a picture with the couple as they enjoyed a delicious meal.
Not only did Ranbir’s Chef share a picture with the hottest couple of B-town but also revealed what the stars had for dinner.
He wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️ All smiles post a #NotSoNasty 3 course valentines dinner ?❤️ . Nandamuri Family Went In Silent Mode!
Now that the trailer of Ram Gopal Varma’s Lakshmi’s NTR has come out, many are wondering if Nandamuri family members, who are shown in a near negative light inside the film as per the trailer, will they react? While RGV will role out legal provisions that allow him to make the movie, what will he do if all the family members object to the film?
NTR being a public figure, a film can be made on him by anyone in this country or outside. However, one has to take permissions from family members, friends and relatives if he is using their names. While Varma might have used no names at all or used names in an intelligent manner with an indirect reference, the reaction of the Nandamuri family will surely make an impact.
However, we hear that the family members of legendary NTR have decided to stay silent on the film. Because if the family (read TDP also) takes on the film, now opposition parties will take a cue from it saying that they are scared that truth will come out. That only helps the opposition big time in getting political momentum by bashing TDP folks.
Keep all this in view, if the family keeps silent, then the film will run for a while and leaves theatres. In the past, a similar thing happened with NTR Kathayanakudu and YSR’s Yatra as well, they run at theatres basing on content and will then leave.
Harish Rao, No importance in Party and cadre now ?
Once praised as a popular mass leader in TRS after KCR and a trouble shooter in TRS, Siddipet MLA and former irrigation minister T Harish Rao now stands ignored, isolated and humiliated in his own party.
Harish who worked sincerely and committedly day and night for strengthening TRS for years together suddenly finds everyone treating him like a ‘paraaya’ (outsider) in the same party.
In erstwhile Medak district, KCR faced tough political weather due to presence of leaders like Jagga Reddy and Vanteru Prathap Reddy, who gave KCR sleepless nights with their abuses on KCR and family members. They were backed by Congress and TDP high commands financially to take on KCR.
But Harish ensured that TRS did not lose ground in the home district of KCR by taking head on both Vanteru and Jagga Reddy.
But today, Vanteru and Jagga Reddy became ‘close aides’ for KCR and TRS but Harish became “paraaya’.
Jagga Reddy has been holding press conferences to abuse Harish Rao terming him as ‘blackmailer’, ‘thief’ etc while praising KCR and KTR to be ‘honest and fair leaders’.
Vanteru is threatening Harish not to set his feet in Gajwel, the KCR’s home constituency, saying that KCR has assigned him the responsibility of Gajwel after he shifted from TDP to TRS recently.
KCR even gave Chandi Yagam responsibility in his farmhouse recently to Vanteru.
Despite Vanteru and Jagga Reddy openly abusing Harish, none of the TRS leaders are coming forward to counter it, apparently due to instructions from their ‘bosses’.
TRS leaders who are quick to counter criticism against KCR and KTR by any party by holding press meets in Telangana Bhavan, have kept mum in the case of Harish.
All this shows that it’s the end of the road for Harish in TRS and few sensational developments are expected in TRS soon on Harish issue.
Box-Office: 33 days Worldwide Collections of ‘F2’
Mega Prince Varun Tej and senior Hero Victory Venkatesh joined hands for the first time for a multi starrer movie. Touted to be a full-length comedy entertainer, ‘F2: Fun and Frustration’ movie directed by Anil Ravipudi has hit the screens for Sankranthi and is having a dream run at the box office.
It has been 33 days since the release of the film and the movie has gone past 79 crores share worldwide. Also, as there are no movies which are giving tough competition for this movie, ‘F2’ is ruling the box office with its exceptional collections.
