Nandamuri Family Went In Silent Mode!
Now that the trailer of Ram Gopal Varma’s Lakshmi’s NTR has come out, many are wondering if Nandamuri family members, who are shown in a near negative light inside the film as per the trailer, will they react? While RGV will role out legal provisions that allow him to make the movie, what will he do if all the family members object to the film?
NTR being a public figure, a film can be made on him by anyone in this country or outside. However, one has to take permissions from family members, friends and relatives if he is using their names. While Varma might have used no names at all or used names in an intelligent manner with an indirect reference, the reaction of the Nandamuri family will surely make an impact.
However, we hear that the family members of legendary NTR have decided to stay silent on the film. Because if the family (read TDP also) takes on the film, now opposition parties will take a cue from it saying that they are scared that truth will come out. That only helps the opposition big time in getting political momentum by bashing TDP folks.
Keep all this in view, if the family keeps silent, then the film will run for a while and leaves theatres. In the past, a similar thing happened with NTR Kathayanakudu and YSR’s Yatra as well, they run at theatres basing on content and will then leave.
Harish Rao, No importance in Party and cadre now ?
Once praised as a popular mass leader in TRS after KCR and a trouble shooter in TRS, Siddipet MLA and former irrigation minister T Harish Rao now stands ignored, isolated and humiliated in his own party.
Harish who worked sincerely and committedly day and night for strengthening TRS for years together suddenly finds everyone treating him like a ‘paraaya’ (outsider) in the same party.
In erstwhile Medak district, KCR faced tough political weather due to presence of leaders like Jagga Reddy and Vanteru Prathap Reddy, who gave KCR sleepless nights with their abuses on KCR and family members. They were backed by Congress and TDP high commands financially to take on KCR.
But Harish ensured that TRS did not lose ground in the home district of KCR by taking head on both Vanteru and Jagga Reddy.
But today, Vanteru and Jagga Reddy became ‘close aides’ for KCR and TRS but Harish became “paraaya’.
Jagga Reddy has been holding press conferences to abuse Harish Rao terming him as ‘blackmailer’, ‘thief’ etc while praising KCR and KTR to be ‘honest and fair leaders’.
Vanteru is threatening Harish not to set his feet in Gajwel, the KCR’s home constituency, saying that KCR has assigned him the responsibility of Gajwel after he shifted from TDP to TRS recently.
KCR even gave Chandi Yagam responsibility in his farmhouse recently to Vanteru.
Despite Vanteru and Jagga Reddy openly abusing Harish, none of the TRS leaders are coming forward to counter it, apparently due to instructions from their ‘bosses’.
TRS leaders who are quick to counter criticism against KCR and KTR by any party by holding press meets in Telangana Bhavan, have kept mum in the case of Harish.
All this shows that it’s the end of the road for Harish in TRS and few sensational developments are expected in TRS soon on Harish issue.
Box-Office: 33 days Worldwide Collections of ‘F2’
Mega Prince Varun Tej and senior Hero Victory Venkatesh joined hands for the first time for a multi starrer movie. Touted to be a full-length comedy entertainer, ‘F2: Fun and Frustration’ movie directed by Anil Ravipudi has hit the screens for Sankranthi and is having a dream run at the box office.
It has been 33 days since the release of the film and the movie has gone past 79 crores share worldwide. Also, as there are no movies which are giving tough competition for this movie, ‘F2’ is ruling the box office with its exceptional collections. Denting the theatrical run, Amazon Prime Video has made ‘F2’ available to stream.

All Eyes On Mohan Babu’s Reaction
A couple of months ago, when Mohan Babu attended the pre-release event of NTR Kathanayakudu movie, he has expressed to see how director Krish and Balayya have portrayed certain persons in the movie. But then, he hasn’t made any comment on the film after its release.
Cut to now, today Ram Gopal Varma’s Lakshmi’s NTR has released, also giving a kick to Mohan Babu’s fans as his role is also carved in this version of NTR biopic. With NTR’s Kathanayakudu not having Mohan Babu’s role and RGV’s version having it, naturally, everyone looks forward to his reaction on the trailer.
Some say that Mohan Babu is super happy that Varma has included his character in the film, but at that time he’s said to be looking forward with curiosity and doubt for the full-length role of it. Because Lakshmi Parvathi has earlier made some critical comments on Mohan Babu too and as Varma made her story as a movie, one can’t say if his character is portrayed positively or negatively. And Mohan Babu is also waiting for the same, they say.
On the other hand, today Manchu Vishnu has met YS Jagan, giving rise to many speculations, though some are pushing that off as a casual meet with Vishnu’s wife Veronica a close relative of the YSR Congress boss.
Ram Gopal Varma: ‘Lord NTR blessing’
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma on Thursday released the trailer of “Lakshmi’s NTR”, a film on the life of actor-turned-politician N.T. Rama Rao, which has triggered a controversy in Andhra Pradesh ahead of the elections.
The movie is about the former Chief Minister’s second marriage to Lakshmi Parvathi, which divided the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder’s family and ultimately led to his son-in-law N. Chandrababu Naidu taking over the reins of the party and the government in 1995.
“Here is the trailer of the most intense and dramatic love story ever. Wish you all a very happy Valentine’s Day,” tweeted Varma.
He later tweeted that the trailer had one million views in just one-and-half hours. He called it “Lord NTR blessing”.
This over three-minute long trailer begins with the caption that the story is about the days following NTR’s defeat in the 1989 elections.
The trailer deals with the dramatic entry of Lakshmi Parvathi, NTR’s biographer, into his life, the opposition to the marriage in the legendary actor’s family, his landslide victory in 1994 elections, the revolt by Chandrababu Naidu, the subsequent developments and finally NTR’s death in 1996.
Varma also tweeted that the theatrical trailer will release on February 22. “Whoever comes to the theatre to see ‘Mahanayakudu’ can see the trailer of ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’.”
“NTR Mahanaykudu” is the second part of the biopic produced by NTR’s son and popular actor Balakrishna. Directed by Krish, the biopic features Balakrishna as NTR.
“NTR Kathanayakudu” about NTR’s film career, and also starring Vidya Balan as NTR’s first wife Basvatarakam, was released last month.
After Balakrishna announced the NTR biopic last year, Varma also declared that he will make a movie on the true story of NTR and Lakshmi Parvathi. He termed it the most dynamic love story ever.
“‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ is a love story mixed with ungrateful families, disloyal followers and backstabbing betrayers,” he said
During the last few days, Varma tweeted that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu backstabbed NTR.
Varma’s movie has angered Naidu and his TDP. TDP leaders raised objection to a song from the film released recently which appears to be targeting Naidu for “backstabbing”.
TDP legislator S.V.S.N. Varma approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court, seeking directions to remove the song from all streaming platforms as it projects Naidu in bad light. Last month, the court served notices on the censor board and the producer.
With elections in Andhra Pradesh due in April-May, TDP leaders feel that the controversial movie could impact the party’s prospects.

Bajrang Dal activists ‘forcibly’ marry off couple in Hyd
Hyderabad: Protesting against Valentine’s Day celebrations, activists of rightwing group Bajrang Dal on Thursday forcibly married off a young couple at a park on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The activists found a student couple in a park and made the boy tie what appears like ‘mangalsutra’ to the girl. The incident occurred at Kandlakoya Oxygen Park in Medchal.
The activists shared the video on social media. The protestors could be heard saying it’s an auspicious day as the boy ‘tied the knot’. Later, one of them is seen congratulating the boy.
Workers of Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and other rightwing groups staged protests in various parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Police arrested a group of protestors in L. B. Nagar area here as they took out a rally. Raising slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and holding saffron flags, they also tried to burn an effigy of Valentine.
A protest was held against an event organized by some youths in Nalgonda town of Telangana.
In Vijayawada in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, VHP and Bajrang Dal activists held a protest at Rajiv Gandhi Park. They put up posters and banners advising youths to stay away from Valentine’s Day celebrations. The leaders of the organizations said celebrating Valentine’s Day was against India’s culture.
Ram, Is That True?
He’s a young hero in terms of his age, but a senior hero if we have to go by his debut which happened long ago. Yes, we are talking about energetic star Ram Pothineni who has now turned ‘iSmart Shankar’ under Puri Jagan’s direction.
Reports have that he has now picked another story that is rejected by another hero. Actually, in recent times, Ram has worked hard along with some writers to come up with some stories for his films. But nothing worked out. Finally, he liked Puri Jagan’s story and signed that film. And then, he also liked the story written for Varun Tej by Appatlo Okadundevadu fame Sagar Chandra.
As this project was called off with Varun Tej not liking the final draft of the script and 14 Reels not interested to produce the movie with a high budget, now Sagar is said to have narrated the same story to Ram and got it approved. In recent times, Ram has approved many such films initially but later he too called them off. So we have to see what happens.
Lakshmi Parvathi’s Reaction On Lakshmi’s NTR Trailer
Already the trailer of “Lakshmi’s NTR” has kickstarted a storm in political and film circles for the kind of intensity it portrayed. And then, everyone is looking forward to seeing what the film’s central character, real-life Lakshmi Paravathi will say about it.
“The tears in my eyes are the answer to the teaser I’ve seen. All the incidents that took place 23 years ago are still reeling in front of my eyes. Looks like the film has all of them, bringing the actual story into the limelight, though Varma didn’t ask any information from me” said Lakshmi Parvathi, in a TV interview, as tears rolled down from her eyes after watching the teaser of Lakshmi’s NTR.
Though the whole world has seen Lakshmi Paravathi interacting with Ram Gopal Varma many times, one wonders if she is really saying truth that the director didn’t asked any information from her. However, she has stated that the scenes shown by Varma where NTR is seen introducing her to family members and them rejecting her, is actual.
Going through all these things, cinema lovers are commenting that while Varma promised everyone that he will make a biopic of NTR, he has come up with a biopic of Lakshmi Parvathi. Pch!!
