Amaravathi Farmers Feel Cheated By Naidu!
Amarvathi farmers who handed over their fertile lands believing TDP chief and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu for construction of AP’s new capital city Amaravathi, are now feeling cheated.
The TDP government has acquired 33,567 acres from 22,525 farmers of 29 villages four years ago for construction of Amaravthi, in the name of ‘land pooling’. But the farmers now realised that it’s not ‘land pooling’ but ‘land fooling’.
In return, the government has allotted 56,971 plots to farmers to compensate them for giving away their fertile lands.
However, the government failed to take up any development activity in these plots.
The plots were left in the lurch due to which they have now become waste lands serving the purpose of no one.
As this was not enough, the government has taken up real estate development on it’s lands surrounding these farmers’ plots by making good layouts and constructing apartment and commercial complexes.
With this, buyers are opting for layouts and apartments taken up by government, while there are no takers for plots allotted to farmers, with no development.
Farmers, who used to earn good income on these fertile lands earlier by raising two to three crops, are now suffering huge losses as there is no agricultural income or income through real estate.
Some farmers feel cheated as they were allotted plots facing south, which is considered to be inauspicious as per vastu. These plots also find no takers.
Farmers are now cursing TDP for their ill-fate and vowing to teach a fitting lesson to Naidu in the upcoming Assembly polls.

Watched ‘Mahanati,’ want to act in Sridevi’s biopic
Cheeky beauty Rakul Preet Singh almost disappeared from the Telugu screen. She is now busy with multiple Hindi and Tamil projects. Although all films are entertainers, Rakul has a wish to do a biopic and the reason being ‘Mahanati.’
The film has influenced her a lot and Rakul wishes to do a biopic and that too she prefers to play evergreen beauty Sridevi. Well part of her wish got fulfilled with ‘NTR – Kathanayakudu’ in which she played Sridevi but that was just a cameo whereas Rakul wants to play full-fledged Sridevi on the big screen.
That’s quite big statement from Rakul. Recently she made news by criticising troller who made insensitive comments on her outfit. But the issue got settled as Rakul justified herself. On the work front, she is busy with ‘NGK’ and ‘DEV’ in which Rakul is pairing with brothers Surya and Karthi respectively.
Pic Talk: Nikhi’s Heroine Goes Too Wild
A second film in the Telugu industry hasn’t yet happened to her, but the energy she showcased in her debut film is the much talked about.
Kannada beauty Samyuktha Hegde, who has debuted in Tollywood with the remake of Kannada hit Kirrak Party, is right now setting the temperatures soaring. While that film didn’t work wonders for her, she is now right now focusing on her social media acts.
In her latest post, the actress shared a picture of hers where she is comfortable posing in a two-piece outfit. Talking more about this bikini bonanza, she shared, “Too Dark? Too Fair? Too Thin? Too Fat? Too Short? Too Tall? You will never be enough. There will always be something that’s missing. So stop caring about a world that doesn’t care about you. Live Wild Live Free. Love yourself”.
Needless to say, her bikini appearance is too wild and we have to say that this glamorous starlet needs some silver screen offers to showcase her talents.
‘I Know Chiranjeevi, don’t know Pawan Kalyan’
Creating a flutter again over the identity of Pawan Kalyan, TDP senior leader and former union minister for civil aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju said he doesn’t know who Pawan Kalyan is. He made the comments on the sidelines of the launch of the book “NTR, a Biography.”
Stating that he doesn’t watch Telugu movies, Ashok Gajapathi Raju said that “I don’t watch movies. So, I don’t know who Pawan Kalyan is. But, I know Chiranjeevi and his father. Chiranjeevi’s father had come to me when I was in the Excise department for a transfer or something. I had done it for him,” he remarked.
Gajapathi Raju has made these comments earlier too. And, that created a controversy when he had said that he is not aware of who Pawan Kalyan is. Reacting to his comments earlier, Jana Sena founder Pawan had replied sharply that “they don’t know who I am and that’s how they won the election.” Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan had added that he would go to Vizianagaram and remind Gajapathi Raju of who he is.
While Gajapathi Raju’s comments seem inappropriate at the time of elections, it looks like the media too is willing to participate in such an unnecessary controversy-making scenario where the focus is more on trying provoke politicians with trivial questions.
Teja’s First And Only Comment On NTR Biopic
Probably after his exit from the much-hyped #NTR biopic, director Teja never spoke about this film and the things that lead to his exit. Only it is heard from his close associates that the director felt he will not be able to handle the huge pressure associated with the movie.
So what has Teja to say about NTR Kathanayakudu that got a mixed result at the box office with poor collections? Definitely, his comments about this Krish Jagarlamudi directorial are the most awaited, and the director stated that he got nothing to talk about this film.
“As I’m busy with my upcoming film, I haven’t got time to watch NTR Biopic. Otherwise, I would have definitely commented on the film” said Teja, while sharing his thoughts with a media house. With talk that NTR Kathanayakudu lacks the much needed drama, he adds, “It depends on the director. He needs to have a brain for that”.
That is the first and only comment of Teja on NTR biopic so far.
