Priya Prakash Varrier, the Malayali teen sensation, took the country by storm with her cute winks and smiles in Oru Adaar Love’s song that went viral last year. Since then, Priya was flooded with movie offers and brand endorsement deals.

One of the projects Priya was offered when she became a social media sensation was none other than Tollywood Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s. However, Priya could not sign the project due to her commitment for her debut film Oru Adaar Love. Priya herself revealed this in an interview with the Telugu media yesterday.

Since she became an overnight sensation, Allu Arjun only did Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India. Priya’s revelation naturally got everyone in Tollywood guessing that Priya was indeed approached for Naa Peru Surya before the makers ended up as signing Anu Emmanuel.

Anu Emmanuel had played an ultra glamorous role in Naa Peru Surya. Whether Priya could have played the similar role and showcase her glamour like Anu did is a million dollar question. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is the chief guest at Oru Adaar Love’s Telugu version Lover’s Day’s pre-release event tonight.

After quitting glamorous roles and accepting more of female-centric films, heroine Nayanthara is just rocking all the way in Tamil Land. And occasionally she is sizzling in some Telugu films as well. Her next is going to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus movie #SyeRaa.

Guess what, Nayanthara is going to break all of her rules for this movie. In fact, she never promotes any of her films and feels that a movie should run on its merit rather than heroines promoting it. That is a debatable statement, but for sure, promotions always add the best to create hype for a movie.

Other than for Kahani remake ‘Anaamika’, Nayantara never gave even promotional interviews for any of the latest movies. Early in her career, with producers denying to give her to-and-fro flight tickets from Cochin, she skipped promotions. Later she made that a rule to skip. But for #SyeRaa she is going to attend all the promotional events.

As the film is being made on a huge budget, we hear that Ram Charan has requested her to grace the promotions and she obliged. We have to see how she shines at the promotions, once the release date of #SyeRaa is locked.

‘Honey Is The Best’ is a slogan now. Social media is abuzz with memes with this line and Mehreen is getting a wide appreciation for her role from the movie ‘F2 – Fun & Frustration.’ Probably for the first time, trollers are making positive memes about Mehreen and her slogan and this is quite rare.

With that being a Pawan Kalyan’s film name, it will be a good addition for sure.

Then we have him adding an ‘s’ to his name, making it “Vaisshnav Tej”. With double-S, surely the name sounds little different, but we have to see if that will add any magic to the debutant’s film career. His first ever film to be produced by Sukumar was launched recently.

Only when a hero is left to explore himself, then he will be able to deliver some right things at the box office. And it looks like this young hero is yet to get such creative freedom from his dad, if not with films at least with promotions.

For reasons best known to them, King Nagarjuna is still taking part in the promotions of Akhil’s films. When he came for Akhil’s Akhil, everyone thought that the Akkineni senior is taking care of his younger son quite well. When he attended promotions of Hello, as Nag himself is the producer, it went well.

But now, for the promotions of Mr Majnu as well, both Nagarjuna and Akhil are appearing together in the interviews. One wonders, what made Nag attend the interviews of this film as well, if not for the fact that this title belongs to his own old film. Some however say that as the buzz is quite low for the film, the producers requested Nagarjuna to take part in promotions, and hence he is doing that.

Biopics of so many political leaders are currently on cards and ‘Yatra’ is undoubtedly one of the most awaited ones. Touted to be the biopic on late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the movie has been carrying a decent pre-release buzz.

The makers are leaving no stone unturned in creating a positive buzz around the movie. Recently, an interesting update about the opening scene of the movie has taken the internet by storm. If the buzz is to be believed then the opening scene of the movie is going to be YSR becoming Chief Minister and taking the oath. He says “Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy ane nenu” and wakes up from the sleep, sweating and taking heavy breathe. It is known that Mammootty is playing the role of YSR and we can expect that he is going to deliver outstanding performance and can pull off the role with ease.

Mahi V Raghav is helming this project. The movie is going to showcase some important episodes during YSR’s ‘Padayatra’. The movie is slated to hit the screens on February 8th.

Ram Charan is not ready to let any rumours that put Chiranjeevi in a bad light to spread as much as they used to earlier.He is okay, if people talk anything about him but his family or his father are seen in any sort of bad light ever so slightly, he is making it an habit to defend and tell his side of the story.

Recently, a rumour has come out that Chiranjeevi asked Koratala Siva to scrap his script and come up with a new one.

Ram Charan clarified that never Chiranjeevi asked for such a change and also he did call him to discuss about an actor choice for an important part.

He also had discussions about some plot issues but in the same script that Koratala came up with and never asked him to scrap or change it entirely, it seems.

Not only in Tollywood, but the biopic trend is also currently going on in Bollywood as well. ’83’ movie which is going to be the biopic on cricketer Kapil Dev is undoubtedly one of the much-anticipated biopics in Bollywood.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie is going to show the journey of Kapil Dev and the memorable World Cup win in 1983. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil Dev in the movie and is also getting trained in cricket. The makers have locked April 10th, 2020 as the release date of the movie.

So, the movie is going to release on the occasion of Good Friday. The movie will be shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages and is going to mark the first trilingual film for Ranveer. The regular shooting of the movie will go on sets very soon as soon as the makers finalize the rest of the cast members.
