PM Modi to address the nation shortly with an ‘important’ message

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his official Twitter handle and tweeted that he would be addressing an important message to the entire nation. The time was scheduled from 11:45 AM to 12 Noon. The time has passed but there is a tension among the political circles and curiosity in the general people who noticed Modi’ tweet.

Is it another demonitisation or any announcement? With the election model code of conduct in effective, the union government can’t announce any major change in policy schemes. So we can expect something not related to public policy change.

But from the highly placed sources, we hear that Modi is going to make an announcement on national security. Adding to this speculations, the union cabinet had met on Wednesday morning and cabinet panel on security also had met. Majority of the central ministers are still heard to be in PM’s residence.

Amitabh Bachchan Sends Video Wishes To Charan

Even though Amitabh Bachchan worked in the production houses that belong to many heroes, never he has released videos where he shared wishes regarding a birthday. But it looks like he felt Ram Charan is something special.

Today the mega powerstar celebrates his 33rd birthday and Big B has sent a birthday wish to him. “I wish you all the success you deserve and this comes from me and my family here in Mumbai,” said Big B, adding more about Charan in the next few lines.

“You’re a wonderful person. I don’t how old you’re going to be, but whenever I see you I feel like you are an 18 year old” he says, highlighting how energetic Charan is like. And pushing Telugu fans into much more happiness, Big B uttered the Telugu lines, “Puttinaroju Subhakankshalu Charan”.

Reacting on the same, Charan’s wife Upasana added, “This is the sweetest gift ever and my hands are still shaking”.

Well, Amitabh will be seen in Ram Charan’s next production venture “Sye Raa”, which has Megastar Chiru in the lead and a galaxy of stars in the supporting roles.

MLC election results are tight slap to KCR: Jeevan Reddy

Former minister Jeevan Reddy who lost Jagityal assembly seat in the last elections, emerged victorious in the MLC elections defeating ruling TRS supported candidate. Karimnagar-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Medak Graduates constituency is a strong hold of TRS party and shocking everyone it’s candidate Chandrashekhar Goud stood in third place.

With a setback to TRS, the party is introspecting the situation while the oppositions are celebrating the victory and they are also claiming that this is the beginning of TRS downfall. Speaking on this victory Jeevan Reddy said, ”This election results are a tight slap to TRS and especially to CM KCR. Will raise the voice against the anti-public decision in the Legislative Council.”

Jeevan Reddy had won with the majority of 39,430 votes and this is no joke. Right before the Lok Sabha elections, TRS received a huge jolt and it has to be very careful as it is aiming to win all the 16 Lok Sabha seats leaving one to MIM.

Big Jolt: 3 Candidates TRS Backed Lose MLC Polls

Ruling TRS in Telangana received a setback with the party backed candidates losing elections to three seats of the Legislative Council.

Two outgoing members of the upper house of the state legislature were among the candidates who lost the elections.

Senior Congress leader and former Minister T. Jeevan Reddy was declared elected from Karimnagar-Adilabad-Nizamabad-Medak graduates constituency as the counting of ballots ended in the early hours of Wednesday.

Jeevan Reddy, who was defeated in Assembly elections, trounced his nearest rival Chandrashekhar Goud of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) by a margin of 39,430 votes.

K. Raghotham Reddy of Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union (PRTU), supported by the Congress, won Karimnagar-Adilabad-Nizamabad-Medak teachers constituency. He defeated former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Paturi Sudhakar Reddy, backed by the TRS.

TRS supported candidate and former MLC P. Ravinder was also defeated in Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal teachers constituency. United Teachers’ Federation (UTF) candidate A. Narsireddy, supported by the Congress and the CPI, won the seat.

Polling for these seats were held on March 22.

RRR: Ram Charan Birthday Special Poster

Although director S S Rajamouli said that he has no plans of releasing special photographs for Ram Charan’s birthday to please his fans, the team of “RRR” has come up with a poster.

During the first media interaction early this month, “RRR” team released a poster consisting two faces of lead actors of the movie – NTR and Ram Charan, showcasing their characterizations of fiery Komaram Bheem and revolutionary Alluri Seetharama Raju respectively.

On the occasion of Ram Charan’s birthday today, producer Danayya and team RRR have released a new poster that features only Ram Charan’s face. However, this poster carries the same photo from the first poster.

Ram Charan is essaying the young Alluri Seetharama Raju and the film is a fictitious story set in the 1920s and based on two legendary freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju.

The movie unveils both of them from their home in Delhi before they begin fighting for the country.

Ram Charan turns 34 today.

Bellamkonda’s Seetha To Get Delayed?

Bellamkonda Srinivas’s upcoming film Seetha with director Teja has been scheduled for release on April 25.

The makers of Seetha locked April 25 as the release date after Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi release was pushed to May 9. The film is due for release within a month and there isn’t any pre release buzz around it.

Except releasing the first look posters, makers of Seetha haven’t launched any teasers or songs of Seetha yet.

Seetha has been under production for a long time and Bellamkonda Srinivas is working on other films during the long gaps between Seetha schedules.

Teja started Seetha after he walked out of NTR’s biopic. He roped in Kajal Agarwal for the title role and the rising actor Bellamkonda Srinivas as the male lead. Usually,

Teja wraps up his movies within short time, but somehow he is taking so much time to wrap up Seetha. With many big and notable movies lined up for release in April,

Seetha needs to kick start its promotional campaign to stay ahead of competition.

NTR Comes in Support Of The Mega Hero!

If the buzz from film circles is to be believed, NTR Jr. is likely to grace the pre release event of Chitralahari as the Chief Guest.

NTR has good association with Mythri Movie Makers that made Janatha Garage with him. Hence, Tarak could be the surprise package at the mega event.

One would have expected either Chiranjeevi or Ram Charan to grace the event given how important Chitralahari is for Sai Dharam Tej.

However, mega heroes are deliberately staying away from media to avoid media glare in the wake of Janasena’s participation in AP elections. Therefore, the makers of Chitralahari are seeking Tarak’s help to get the desired buzz.

Chitralahari directed by Kishore Tirumala is surely gaining buzz by the day with impressive teaser promos and DSP’s foot tapping songs.

With so many films to compete with in April, the film needs to gain momentum with every promotional event.

The team is also planning some innovative promotional videos to grab every bit of public attention.

Mohan Babu To Get RS Seat?

As expected, popular Telugu film actor-producer and former Rajya Sabha member Manchu Mohan Babu joined the YSR Congress party on Tuesday, thereby retuning to politics after a gap of nearly two decades.

Mohan Babu, along with his son Manchu Vishnu, met YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad and was formally inducted into the party.

Though Jagan cannot offer him the party ticket to contest the ongoing general elections from any constituency right now because the nominations closed on Monday itself, it is learnt the YSRC chief promised to nominate Mohan Babu to Rajya Sabha in 2020.

In fact, Mohan Babu’s daughter Manchu Lakshmi had been evincing interest in politics for quite some time. There were reports that she was promised the Telugu Desam Party ticket to contest the elections from Venkatagiri constituency in Nellore district.

But Vishnu had objected to her joining the TDP as his wife Veronica happened to be the cousin of Jagan and hence, Lakshmi’s contest on TDP ticket would spoil the relations, sources said.

At one stage, Mohan Babu also thought of returning to the TDP and praised TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu a couple of times.

He even took Naidu to his Sri Vidya Niketan group of institutions near Chandragiri. But later, the relationship between the two got strained somehow.

The senior actor admitted that he had got offers to join the TDP and BJP as well.

“But I preferred to join YSRC. I do not expect only posts or positions. I sincerely felt Jagan will do a lot of good for the people like his father. I am confident he will become the next chief minister,” he said adding that he would campaign for the YSRC in the ongoing elections.
