Recently, Shankar has revealed the reason behind it. “During the initial days of my direction, I wanted to work with Ilayaraja. In fact, I even thought of roping him in for ‘Gentleman’ movie. I also got an appointment to talk with him. But, I have huge respect for him that I couldn’t even speak in front of him. He is a music dictionary. I felt like my knowledge is not enough to work with him. Also, I am scared of him that I can’t say that I want this and that. So, I didn’t took the risk of working with him.” Said Shankar.

“Then we got A R Rahman on board and I continued my journey with him. However, Though I failed to work with Ilayaraja sir, I got an opportunity to act with him. We short for a commercial together” added Shankar.

Tollywood sensational hero Vijay Devarakonda is also going to release his next ‘Dear Comrade’. Apart from the on-location stills, no big promotional material is released from the makers. Also, there is no clarity on the release date of the movie as well. Also, Nani’s ‘Jersey’ movie is going to hit the screens on April 19th. The teaser of the movie has greatly impressed the audience by featuring Nani in a cricketer role. Apart from the teaser, the makers haven’t released any major promotional material yet.

Cute couple Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are going to share the screen space for the first time after marriage with ‘Majili’ movie directed by Shiva Nirvana. Allu Sirish is coming up with the remake movie ‘ABCD’ which is gearing up from March 1st release. But the movie is not making much buzz. Surya’s ‘NGK’ is one of the most anticipated films in Kollywood which is releasing on April 12th. Telugu version is also going to get released on the same day but the makers haven’t started the promotions of the film yet. Also, ‘Kanchana 3’ is going to be released on April 18th.

Almost all the movies are currently in the last stages of the shooting or in the post-production stages. But the makers of these films are not showing interest in the promotions. Though some interesting movies are gearing up for summer release the promotional Hungama hasn’t started in Tollywood yet.
