Temper’s Tamil Teaser: Did Vishal Change His Mind?
NTR and Puri Jagannadh’s 2015 action drama Temper has been remade in Bollywood and Kollywood. While the Hindi version Simmba went on to become a blockbuster last December, the Tamil version Ayogya is gearing up for its release this summer. The film’s teaser was released yesterday.
During Pandem Kodi 2’s promotions, hero Vishal, who is reprising NTR’s role in Ayogya, had said that Ayogya will be quite different from Temper. Since then, there has been a lot of curiosity about how Ayogya’s makers could have given a new twist to Temper.
But Ayogya’s teaser offered nothing new and the film appears to be a frame by frame faithful remake of NTR’s Temper. Especially, shots like Vishal looking cunningly from the Jeep, the beach fight, the police station fight and a few other shots gave a strong dejavu of Temper. Even certain dialogues in the teaser seem to have been inspired from Temper.
However, leaving the similarities aside, Ayogya’s teaser is captivating enough. While Raashi Khanna steps into Kajal’s shoes, Parthiepan plays Prakash Raj’s role in Temper’s Tamil version. Star director AR Murugadoss’ former First AD Venkat Mohan has directed Ayogya. Surprisingly, he also credits himself as the Writer of this film.
Big Fight : Boyapati and Danayya ?
Hits bring two people together and flops, disasters strain relations and even make two close friends into enemies. This is common in film industry. Looks like, this is exactly what happened in the team of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. It is widely rumoured in industry circles that all is not well between producer DVV Danayya and director Boyapati Sreenu after the debacle of Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
The film which had done a pretty good theatrical business of Rs 90 Crore (prior to its release) managed to earn only Rs 63 Crore world-wide share leaving its distributors in 27 Crore loss.
Amidst this, producer Danayya, Dil Raju have met director Boyapati to discuss over paying compensation to the distributors. While Ram Charan and Danayya have agreed to pay Rs 5 Crore each, Danayya wanted Boyapati to give another Rs 5 Crore. However, this hasn’t gone down well with Boyapati who had agreed to return only Rs 2 Crore. Boyapati wasn’t convinced with giving compensation on par with Danayya. As Danayya made huge profits, Boyapati allegedly argued that Danayya should give more compensation than him i.e he wanted to give less compensation than Danayya.
It is buzzed that some heated discussion took place between Danayya and director Boyapati regarding the same. Apparently, a big fight broke out between Danayya and Boyapati. Dil Raju and others have pacified the both. This led to have widened the gap further between Danayya and Boyapati.

After Mamata, It Will Be Naidu vs Modi!
After a pitched battle with Trinamul Congress chief and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned his attention on Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Modi will address a public meeting at Guntur on February 10. This will be the Prime Ministers first visit to Andhra Pradesh in close to two years and also after the TDP pulled out of the NDA.
Modi will visit the state again on February 16 to address another rally in the port city Visakhapatnam.
Needless to say, Modi will take Naidu to task during his visit to AP and expose Naidu’s bluff on his allegations that the Centre had done nothing for the state.
While explaining what the Centre has done in the last four years, Modi will definitely talk about Naidu’s corruption.
The TDP president has chosen February 11, a day after Modi’s rally in Guntur, to launch a counter-attack on Modi.
He will be sitting on a day-long deeksha in New Delhi, where he will question Modi’s indifferent attitude towards Andhra Pradesh, his witch-hunting of the TDP leaders and his collusion with the TDP’s political rivals.
So, the battle lines are drawn. While the BJP does not have much stakes in AP, but Modi’s only objective is to see that Naidu is defeated in the elections.
On the other hand, Naidu wants to gain maximum political mileage by blaming it on Modi for lack of implementation of his poll promises.
Why Naidu left NDA? Ask Vijayashanti
It is an open secret that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has pulled his party out of the Bharatiya Janata Part-led National Democratic Alliance in April last, as he realised that the TDP would be on the losing side if he continued to sail with the NDA.
Reason: the people are angry with the Narendra Modi government for rejecting outright the demand for special category status and also not releasing necessary financial assistance to state, besides not fulfilling other promises made in AP Reorganisation Act.
But Telangana Congress campaign committee president and actress Vijayashanti has a different reasoning.
In a series of tweets, the actress-turned-politician said Naidu had left NDA because of Narendra Modi who had been ill-treating his allies in the NDA.
“TDP led by Shri Chandrababu opted out of NDA being unable to tolerate the domination of Shri Modi. But still after so many consequences, Shri Amit Shah still continuing to sing in praises of Shri Modi not caring about the alliances reflects their dictatorship (sic),” she observed.
Vijayashanti was referring to BJP national president Amit Shah’s comments in his speech the other day that “the coming Lok Sabha elections will be fought in between Modi and the opposition parties”.
She said: “A confidence that Shri Modi led BJP wins majority seats without any need of support from the NDA alliance parties is being heard in the words of Shri Amita Shah. All the senior leaders of that party went away as BJP was run around one single person like this”.
Vijayasanthi asked how Siva Sena is going to react on this. “It is to be seen about how Siva Sena reacts over the statement of Shri Amit Shah now”.
Naidu quid pro quo to mobilise money for TDP!
With almost all the major surveys predicting defeat of TDP in upcoming AP Assembly polls, the TDP is attempting to bank on ‘money power’ to win elections. The TDP government is busy clearing bills of big contractors before election notification is issued fuelling speculations over AP CM N.Chandrababu Naidu resorting to ‘quid-pro-quo’.
Quid pro quo means a favour or advantage granted in return for something.
While TDP government has kept bills worth Rs 14,000 crore pending due to lack of funds for the past few months, CM Naidu issued orders to finance department all of a sudden to clear Rs 500 crore bills to two major construction companies taking up irrigation projects in AP.
Questions are being raised over the sudden love of Naidu towards these major construction firms though AP government is facing severe financial crisis.Insiders say these contractors in return offered a whooping amount to TDP to fight Assembly polls.
Naidu reportedly want to give Rs 10 crore to each TDP MLA candidate to purchase votes and to mobilise this amount, the decision to clear select bills for select contractors has been taken. In the coming two weeks, the bills of few more big contractors are expected to be cleared.
Shockingly, Naidu is learnt to have asked finance department not to clear Rs 8,200 crore dues of farmers towards crop loan waiver scheme promised in 2014 polls, saying that there is no urgency for farmers but contractors should be given top priority first.
Whether this quid pro quo before polls will land Naidu in trouble or not remains to be seen.
Ram Charan & Danayya Give 10 Cr To VVR Distributors
In a welcome move, Ram Charan and producer Danayya have come forward to bear the hefty losses incurred to the distributors of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. While the film’s pre-release world-wide theatrical business was done at Rs 90 Crore, the film on its full run managed to garner Rs 63 Crore share world-wide, thus incurring whopping Rs 27 Crore loss.
In order to compensate the distributors who believed in Charan and Danayya’s film and bet high monies, both Charan and Danayya have come forward to pay Rs 5 Crore each to the distributors. Thus, both together will be paying Rs 10 Crore to the distributors as part of compensation.
Even after this 10 Crore compensation, distributors of VVR have to bear the loss of Rs 17 Crore. Yet, one has to appreciate both Charan and Danayya for coming forward to pay the distributors. While UV Creations has bought the film for whopping Rs 73 Crore and released in the Telugu states, overseas distributor had paid Rs 6.70 Crore. After the disaster result, Danayya had waived off Rs 70 Lakh to its overseas distributor who was supposed to pay the 70 Lakh before the release as per the legal agreement.
Now, Charan and Danayya’s generous act is going to save the distributors to an extent.

Pawan’s Grandpa Turns Bunny’s Dad!
Continuing his favorites in interesting roles is one habit of noted writer-director Trivikram and it looks like he is going to continue that. The likes of Brahmanandam and Hema used to be regulars in his movies earlier, and now he is roping in others regularly.
In his Attarintiki Daredi earlier, Trivikram has roped in not just Nadiya who impressed big time but also got Boman Irani in a crucial role. Later the same Irani appeared in Agnyaathavasi too. Did Sam recommend Chay to Dil Raju?
Those in the know are aware that Akkineni actor Naga Chaitanya is going to feature in a film to be produced by Dil Raju. The ace producer himself has confirmed it during his recent press meet. After Josh flop, Akkineni family and Dil Raju have maintained some distance and they never made an attempt to collaborate again. After many years, Dil Raju is once again partnering with Chay and how did it happen now?
Going by the industry insiders, Chay’s wife and star actress Samantha Akkineni is said to have played a crucial role in setting up this combination. During a recent meeting with Dil Raju regarding the ’96’ Telugu remake, Samantha has reportedly asked the leading producer to plan a movie with her hubby, who is reeling under a series of flops. Considering the fact that Dil Raju has got a great track record in film production, Samantha may have apparently recommended Chay to him. Also, the reports have it that Raju has arranged a narration of a subject with a director, to which the Josh actor gave his quick nod.
Right from the beginning, Samantha is very keen about Naga Chaitanya’s career and in the past, rumours emerged that she has recommended Chaitanya for Trivikram’s A..Aa. But, that did not materialize as Nithin came on the board finally. So, now Dil Raju’s film is quite crucial for the young actor who is in need of a success badly.
Remunerations Of Hotties Shocking #RRR Team!
The second schedule of much awaited #RRR, being carved by director giant Rajamouli got started recently. Star heroes Ram Charan and Jr NTR are actively taking part in this schedule which will wrap some crucial scenes. But the big question that is haunting the team from a while is the leading lady of the movie.
Though Rajamouli wanted to wait for more time to finalize a lady, what is actually surprising #RRR team from locking a Bollywood hottie is due to this reason. They say that when #RRR maker contacted the likes of Parineeti Chopra and Alia Bhatt, those young Bollywood guns actually shocked the team with their demand.
Yes, while Parineeti is said to have asked 4+ crores, Alia is said to have asked for a cool 6 crores to become part of this film. Well, that’s the range Bollywood pays actresses but here in Telugu industry, though heroes get paid 20+ crores, our heroines are hardly given 1-2 crores. That explains why #RRR makers are not able to finalize any.
Meanwhile, the team is now scouting for South hotties itself who will be aboard at an affordable price.
