Meher Ramesh was seen along with Mahesh Babu at the AMB Cinemas launch on Sunday.He stayed close to Mahesh all the way and also left the City Capital Mall along with the superstar. It is clear that Mahesh has no plans to do a movie for Meher Ramesh.

Then what is he doing with Mahesh Babu?

Interestingly, Meher Ramesh is a close relative of Megastar Chiranjeevi, but he is not seen around mega heroes. Wonder what he gets for staying around Mahesh all the time.What joy does Meher gets by simply playing the ‘close aide’ role for Mahesh? Nobody who had worked with big stars and high budget films would settle to be a caretaker, right?

Apparently, the launch of Mahesh Babu’s latest ventured, AMB Cinemas, where he has partnered with a couple of others to come up with a luxury elite class multiplex theatre, has taken place quite formally other day. And there is one question.

Though some good friends of Mahesh, Abhishek Nama and Sunil Narang from Telugu film industry including Koratala Siva, Adivi Sesh are invited for the event, why some other biggies of Tollywood haven’t got an invite is a question lingering in the minds of many.

We hear that Mahesh didn’t want to throw a special party at the theatre as that will lead to security issues and hence haven’t invited the whole of his gang from Tollywood. Reports are coming that he will be throwing a special party on this occasion to his special friends in a couple of days. But that will be either at his home or at a posh five star destination in the city.

Meanwhile, Mahesh is said to be looking forward to starting a similar venture in Vizag very soon!

Also recently when Kavacham unit went to Dubai for songs shoot, Kajal is said to have refused to join them until Mehreen’s part is done. Only after Mehreen left Dubai, Kajal actually joined the sets. They say that Kajal is quite egoistic to be treated as a heroine of the same range with Mehreen, hence this game.

While the unit rubbished off any such animosity between the two Punjabi hotties, rumour mongers say that there is no smoke without fire.

In Bollywood, the first Sunday collections always dominate the release day collection for films that get super hit talk. And it looks like Superstar Rajnikanth’s #2PointO got a similar reception now, down South.

On its first Sunday, 2.O collected close to 8+ crores ‘share’, while its released day collection is around 10+ crores. This is a terrific Sunday we have to say provided with the fact that there is a mixed talk for the movie when it released on Thursday. However, there is one strong element that helped the film.

Yes, those who have seen the movie are quite stunned by the thunderous treat they got inside the theatres. Especially Shankar’s imagination, visual effects, and Rajnikanth’s dialogue timing as a Robo towards the climax part have clicked quite well. And that helped spread the positive word of mouth, leading to lovely collections.

That said, the film has collected around 34+ crores share so far in Tollywood, while Dil Raju and NV Prasad are said to have invested around 72+ crores on the movie. So nearly 50% of the investment is yet to be recovered. Let’s see what happens.
