Shame on Janasena, Kalyan Insults Women
In the run up to elections in Andhra Pradesh, the scene is heating up among political parties. While TV debates are a rage among political parties, some of them are getting popular for the filthy language used on them by the debate participants.
In a recent TV debate, Jana Sena leader Kalyan Dileep Sunkara targeted Telugu Desam Party’s Sadineni Yamini and made personal comments. Indicating that she is a woman of loose character, Jana Sena leader went on to say that “politics is not for people like you. It is not for women who cross all limits, like you and roam on the roads shamelessly. I will beat you up. Be careful.”
During such degrading comments by Kalyan, while the news anchor tried alerting the Jana Sena leader, he went onto warn Yamini on live TV and said “people like you are teaching us what to do? Should I learn from a characterless woman like you? (Mee lanti Mallipuvvulu Picchi vunna vallu matladukovali, Mallipuvulu nalipinchukovadam, Baritheginchina jeevitham needi).”
While Yamini was furious at the comments, she protested on the live show and as a result, walked out of the studio. Unfortunately, the whole incident points out at how politicians of today are stooping so low and getting personal with their comments.
If one observes the pattern of Jana Sena followers on social media, same trend of personal abuse is followed by most of them. They have used filthy language against several women on similar lines, targeting their character. While Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan promises “New Age Politics”, it would be wise for him to guide his supporters and party men to take lessons on dignity and respect for others who differ with JSP’s opinions.

‘Who will win Telangana elections’
The curiosity on who will win Telangana elections is apparently breaking the Internet in the newest state of India. With elections due in just 2 weeks, Google has released a report stating that the most asked question on the search engine is “Who will win in Telangana elections?.”
According to Google, this has been the most googled question in the last 90 days in Telangana. Apparently, TRS and Indian National Congress also have been some of the most searched keywords.
Interestingly, KCR has topped the list with the most searched politician followers by his arch rival and Telangana Congress Working President A. Revanth Reddy. While the searches for TRS were high when KCR has dissolved the Assembly, Google search on Congress gained traction when the party released their first list of candidates.
In a press release, Google said that most of the searches were from Telangana, followed by Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. And, in global searches, India topped the list which was followed by UAE, US and Singapore.
First Time: Transgender to contest in Telangana election
Telangana elections will witness a history as the state is set to have its first transgender politician. Chandramukhi Muvvala, who is a transwoman, has filed her nomination from Goshamahal constituency from the Bahujan Left Front (BLF) to contest in the upcoming elections.
After filing her nomination, Chandramukhi said that she aims to fight for the rights of the transgender community as well as make politics more inclusive. She has worked actively in the social sector and has been vocal about the atrocities against transgenders. ‘I have always wanted to be part of electoral politics and be making policy decisions for the transgender community. Our representation makes politics inclusive,’ she added. She pointed out that politicians promised several things to make transgenders’ lives better but do not focus on issues related to the community post elections.
With Chandramukhi’s entry, let us hope that many transgenders get inspired to be part of the electoral politics and get greater representation in the society. Let us hope that this will also bring about a positive change in people’s mindsets and their acceptance of transgenders as part of our society.

Subrahmanyapuram Trailer : Raises Curiosity

Sumanth had attempted several genres in the past – from rom-coms to mass films to breezy romances to sports-backdrop films, out of which a few have worked and a lot turned out to be disappointment. But never in the past he had tried his hand in thriller genre. Now, Sumanth has decided to do a thriller, which is seen as a safe bet.
While, his last film Malli Raava was better. Sumanth still needs one major success to bounce back. One has to wait and see whether his next ‘Subrahmanyapuram’ would be one such film for him or not. Before that, take a look at what trailer is all about and how it is.
What is it about?
It is all about the village Subrahmanyapuram which has something special. The age-old temple in the village is said to be very famous and peculiar in the village. However, all is not well within Subrahmanyapuram. Reason? God! Well, you read it right. It is believed that God is behind these unexpected incidents. Karthik (Sumanth) starts his research and tries to unravel the mystery. What is the mystery. Is really God behind these? How Karthik took on God. Who won? Is it God? Or Human intelligence? It is a God Vs common man story.
Analysis
The trailer looks promising and the suspense factor seems to have been maintained. However, there is a dejavu feeling. One cannot help but films like Karthikeya occurs to one’s mind. Barring this, the trailer of Subrahmanyapuram raises the curiosity bar. Sumanth seems to have done good job. Shekar Chandra’s background score serves the purpose. Writer-director Santhossh is alright, Eesha Rebba is paired opposite Sumanth is fine. Overall, the trailer strikes a chord with the fans of thriller genre, but one has to see how the film is going to be.
First Look: SS Karthikeya’s Aakashavani Theme Poster
Ace director SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya is venturing into production. He has established a banner “Showing Business” and is producing a film titled Aakashavani.
Ashiwn Gangaraju is making his directorial debut with ‘Aakashavani’ and MM Keeravani’s son, Kaala Bhairava is the music director.This is a period film which is touted to have a new concept and the shooting part begins from January 2019.

Big joke: Naidu’s assets worth only Rs 2.99 cr!
The declaration of assets by Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his family every year is becoming more and more farcical.According to the latest declaration of assets by Naidu’s son and IT minister Nara Lokesh at his residence in Amaravati on Wednesday, the chief minister has net assets worth just Rs 2.99 crore. He has liabilities worth Rs 5.31 crore and total assets worth Rs 8.31 crore.
Naidu has balance in his savings accounts worth around Rs 4.8 lakh in Banks. Even now, he still owns an Ambassador car of 1993 model, which is worth around Rs 1.5 lakh.Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Naidu, holds net assets worth Rs 31 crore and total assets holds around 53.3 crore.
Lokesh has net assets worth Rs 21.4 crore by March 31, 2018. He holds a total assets of Rs 27.29 crore. He has liabilities of Rs 5.88 crore.He said that his wife Nara Brahmani holds Rs 7.72 crore as net assets and Rs 13.38 crore as total assets. Nara Devansh, son of Lokesh has total assets worth Rs 18.71 crore.
In December 2018, Naidu’s net assets were Rs 2.53 crore, with total assets valued at Rs 8.17 crore and liabilities were Rs 5.64 crore.Lokesh clarified that he was declaring all the value of all the assets only as per the acquisition value and not the market value, since the latter would vary from time to time, which is a big farce and it will not make the people believe that Naidu has such nominal assets.
In fact, a report by the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) released in February this year has revealed that Naidu was the richest chief ministers in the country with total assets of Rs 177 crore, followed by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh who own assets worth Rs. 129 crore and Rs. 48 crore respectively.
The ‘poorest’ of the lot is CPI (M) leader and former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar with total assets worth all of Rs. 26 lakh, the report said.
Is Prabhas Inspired By ‘My Sassy Girl’?
Keeping his Baahubalian fanbase in wait, the Baahubali star is teasing them with the teasers and making videos of ‘Saaho’ from a time. But before that film gets wrapped and release, he has started shooting for another movie too.
Under the direction of Jil fame Radha Krishna, our hunk hero Prabhas started shooting for a romantic comedy, in which dusky siren Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead. We hear that this film has an inspiration from a super hit Korean movie which happens to be the highest grosser of all time in South Asian countries.
Korean movie ‘My Sassy Girl’, which is based on the real life of a girl which is written as a blog, became a smashing hit in 2001. The film was remade in USA and Japan as well, while the dubbed version rocked countries like China, Taiwan and others. Now, director Radha Krishna is said to have given an Indian adaptation to this movie, adding some vintage touch to it.
While the original story happens in three phases with couple of years gap, this story happens between Prabhas and Pooja in three generations, they say. Whether these rumours or true or not, we’re going to see Baahubali in his ‘Darling’ like avatar again.
