Kodanda Sacrifices For Ponnala
Telangana Jana Samithi president Prof M Kodandaram, who has compromised on the number of seats allotted to his party as part of seat sharing in Maha Kootami, had to make yet another sacrifice for the big brother, the Congress party.
On Tuesday, he decided to give up Jangaon assembly seat which his party was allotted to his party as part of the alliance to make way for former Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah.Ponnala was thoroughly dissatisfied with the party ignoring his name in finaliding the list of candidates as his constituency Jangaon was allotted to Kodandaram.
He rushed to New Delhi on Tuesday morning to bring pressure on the party high command to make changes in the seat sharing with the alliance partner and see that he would get renomination from Jangaon.He told the party high command that he had been loyal to party for the last 35 years. Ignoring a senior like him, that too a BC leader, to accommodate a Reddy candidate would cause immensedamage to the party, he said.
When Kodandaram came to know about it, he volunteered to drop out from the contest from Jangaon in favour of Lakshmaiah. He, however, is asking for another suitable constituency.
Six People Behind Attack On Jagan?
New Delhi: YSR Congress leaders and MPs on Monday met President Ramnath Kovind and submitted a memorandum seeking his intervention for ordering a judicial inquiry or a central agency investigation as the State Government has been trying to dilute October 25 attack on Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Vizag airport.
‘We have urged the President to intervene to institute a judicial probe or an inquiry by an independent agency as the accused person has reason as to why he should try to eliminate the leader of our Party. There is every reason to believe that there is a conspiracy behind the attack as there are many loopholes in the investigation,’ they said after submitting the memorandum to the President at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan here.
Unless there is an impartial inquiry, the facts of who is behind the attack will not be known. There is no proper reply as to why the accused was given a No Objection Certificate before taking him into employment and if was hired beyond the one month period. How the sharp knife could be brought into the airport unless there was the hand of higher-ups is to be found out, they said.
‘We believe that the conspirators include Chandrababu Naidu, DGP, Adinarayana Reddy, Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao, film star Shivaji, restaurant owner Harshavardhan among others.
Those who met the President include, MPs V. Vijaysai Reddy, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and party senior leaders YV Subba Reddy, Mekapati Rajamohana Reddy, YS Avinadh Reddy, Varaprasad, Ummareddy Venkateswarlu and others who said that the President has responded positively.
Soundarya Rajinikanth gears up for second wedding in January 2019
According to reports, Soundarya Rajinikanth will get married again, sometime in January 2019.It is said that she recently got engaged to actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi. The engagement was a private affair, with only family members in attendance.
Soundarya got married to businessman Ashwin in 2010. The couple has a five-year-old boy named Ved, who is presently staying with Soundarya at Rajinikanth’s Poes Garden residence.Soundarya and Ashwin parted ways in 2017 due to several differences.
Vishagan, who Soundarya is all set to tie the knot with, is also a divorcee. His first marriage with magazine editor Kanikha Kumaran didn’t work out for unknown reasons. Kanikha is now married to producer Varun Manian.Vishagan is the owner of a pharmaceutical company and has also acted in films. He was last seen in a supporting role in Guru Somasundaram’s Vanjagar Ulagam, directed by Manoj Beedha.
It is rumoured that Vishagan’s family is closely related to DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam). He is the son of businessman Sulur Vanangamudi.

Telangana: Bouncers take over Gandhi Bhavan
The Congress Party is taking absolutely no chances given the tense atmosphere prevailing regarding the allocation of tickets.
Not only have the gates to Gandhi Bhavan been locked, the entire premises have been taken over by bouncers. 40 of them have been stationed at Gandhi Bhavan and 20 at the residence of Uttam Kumar Reddy to ward off any disturbances.
The Congress aspirant for Vardhannapeta, Sridhar Kondeti and 200 of his men stormed Gandhi Bhavan on Monday demanding that the constituency not be given to the Kodandaram-led TJS.

‘If 10 Parties Come Against One, Which is Stronger?’
Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth on Tuesday said it was for the people to decide whether the BJP is a “dangerous” party but said if 10 parties are ranged against one, then it shows who is strong.
Meeting the media in an apparent damage control exercise over remarks made by him on Monday, the actor refused to give his personal opinion on whether the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was a “dangerous party” as he had still not entered politics.
“It is for the people to decide who is dangerous. I will not give my views because I have still not entered politics. It is for the people to decide (about BJP). But the fact that 10 parties are uniting against one party (BJP), then it shows who is strong,” he said.
On Monday, when he was asked whether the BJP was such a dangerous party that opposition parties were combining against it, Rajinikanth had said: “If they (non-BJP parties) have said it like this, then it must be definitely correct.”
He also sought to correct an impression that he did not know anything about the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case whose demand for release was now pending with the Tamil Nadu Governor. On Monday, when he was asked about it, he had countered: “Who, which seven people. I don’t know.”
On Tuesday, Rajinikanth said, “This Rajinikanth is not a fool that he does not know about the seven convicts. I think they have spent 27 years in jail and on humanitarian conditions they should be released.”He also recalled that he had telephonically talked to one of the convicts, Perarivalan, when he had come out on parole and had consoled him.
His reaction on Tuesday came after he faced a backlash in the social media where #Rajinikanth does not know” was trending on top.
