Deepika Refuses To Work In Ranveer’s Film
That might sound little shocking but it is actually true. While the lovebirds have tied the knot in two intimate weddings last year, that doesn’t mean Deepika Padukone will simply star in a film that has Ranveer Singh as the hero.
Apparently one of the most awaited upcoming films of Ranveer Singh is “83” which actually features the story of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and his world cup winning stunt. To be directed by Kabir Khan, many felt that Deepika Padukone is aboard this project to play Kapil’s wife Romy. But here is the truth.
With the role of Kapil Dev’s wife quite limited and small in length, Deepika is said to have refused to star in it. According to some reports, she is reportedly not interested in roles that won’t suit her brand right now. That is the reason she refused to be part of 83, though her husband is the hero in it.
Well, at first Deepika is an actor and relationship comes later to her.
Teja’s Script Is Different, Mine Is Different- Krish
Ever since the film NTR Kathanayakudu has hit cinemas, the big doubt many has is, how much content written and developed by Teja for this biopic has been retained. Known is that Teja has exited from the film citing that it’s tough to handle the immense range of this story.
When quizzed about the same, director Krish who has carved the release version, has claimed that he hasn’t even read Teja’s version of the script. “There is one script consultation named Sreedhar garu and he has given me the story. We have added some other scenes basing on my observations and from the history I’ve learned. I don’t know what is Teja garu’s script like. But mine is different” said Krish.
So, why did Teja left the film in the first place? “I don’t know why he left the project, but only felt that he passed the baton of luck to me. I feel blessed with luck that a film like #NTR Biopic had my name on it in the pages of history” said Krish.
Pooja Reveals Hard Work for Aravinda Sametha
One wonders what made this dusky siren talk about “Aravinda Sametha” now, but actually, the film is being premiered on TV this Sunday (Jan 13) and that led our heroine to talk about some unknown things.
Many know that Pooja Hegde has dubbed herself for the role in Aravinda Sametha and impressed with that act. However, she didn’t come down to Hyderabad to dub for the film as her shoot schedules for upcoming Hindi film Housefull 4 didn’t permit her to do so. So, how did she dub?
Actually, Pooja turned her hotel room in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan where she is shooting for Housefull 4, into a dubbing studio. “Crazy times, but so much fun. I guess everything is possible if you work hard and enjoy what u are doing #timemanagement #burningthemidnightoil #telugudubbing” says Pooja Hegde, as she shares about that incident now.
Along with Pooja’s efforts, Jr NTR’s hard work to put up a six pack and a subtle performance, topped by Trivikram’s theme, have helped the film make it big at the box office.
Comedian-Writer’s Debut Film Not Releasing, But..
Many writers dream to become directors one day and only a few of them succeed in that aspect. While the likes of Trivikram and Koratala Siva have succeeded big time and Anil Ravipudi following them, there are many writers who flopped as directors.
TV serials actor and later a comedian, Harshavardhan, who has worked in many films had turned to writing-scripts later with films like Manam in his kitty. Later he thought of becoming a director, which happens to be his childhood dream and came up with the movie “Googly” which is a short form of ‘Good Bad and Ugly”.
While the teaser of that film featuring anchor Sreemukhi has got huge attention for the raw deal and also the glamour part, somehow the film is lying in the harddisks from time but not hitting cinemas. Seems like without worrying about the release of this debut film, now Harshavardhan is moving on.
Recently Harsha has narrated a story to Sudheer Babu and the hero is said to have got mightily impressed with it. If all goes well, the film goes on the floor very soon.
Venky Dominates Varun Tej
Before the release of F2, many thought it would be clash of two mega heroes (Ram Charan, Varun Tej) and a Nandamuri hero (Balakrishna) at the Sankranthi festival. However, F2, which released as an underdog, has come out with flying colours. And most importantly, it was Venkatesh who stole the show completely.
Even youths, families and couples are giving thumbs up to Venky’s show in F2. His comedy timing and his performance are getting applause. In fact, after a longtime, Venky has come up with pure comedy entertainer and his role is being appreciated by one and all.

Kiara Advani’s Remuneration Shocks Makers
Kiara Advani had made a successful debut in Tollywood with Bharat Ane Nenu last year. She went on to sign Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama, and the film released last Friday. Meanwhile, Kiara has also signed a couple of Bollywood biggies, one of them being a Karan Johar film.
Naturally, Kiara’s popularity in Tollywood rose to the next level. And so did her remuneration, if the latest tidbit we have exclusively learnt from a close source. Apparently, Kiara is now demanding a whopping Rs 1.25 crores as her remuneration for Tollywood projects.
Recently, the makers of hero Gopichand’s next film with his Gautham Nanda Sampath Nandi approached Kiara to sign her for their movie. But Kiara quoted a Rs 1.25 crores paycheck which left the producers in shock. Whether they will negotiate further or zero in on another actress will be known soon.
Will win 100 seats if ‘Thammudu Pawan’ makes deal: KA Paul
Known for surprising people with his political statements, founder of Praja Shanti Party KA Paul always has some interesting things to speak about. This time, appealing again to his “Thammudu” and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan, Paul made an open invitation to Pawan Kalyan to work in partnership with him.
Stating that he is positive about his party’s win in the upcoming Assembly Elections in Andhra Pradesh, Paul said: “Pawan Kalyan should partner with us. We will win 100 seats. We will come up with a 25-point agenda. TDP and YSRCP will not even win 10 seats on the whole. Also, if Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena decides to contest alone (without an alliance), they won’t win even a single seat. Similarly, Pawan Kalyan can’t win if he contests. So, if he decides to support us, we will decide on seat-sharing and other formalities once he comes forward. I’m hoping that Pawan doesn’t lose and will take up this offer,” he said.
On the other hand, he attacked Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress for being corrupt parties. He alleged that both the parties are scared of him and hence, will not come for a debate on the development of the state. “If they don’t come for a debate, then they should agree that all their promises are fake,” he added.
This is not the first time that KA Paul has invited support from Jana Sena. Earlier too, he has said that he will make Pawan Kalyan the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh if he agreed. He had said that he will manage the financial backing and investments for Andhra Pradesh while Pawan could manage the government and its administration. Paul’s recent comments have again set the rumour mills ringing!
F2 Collections: Day 2 Bigger Than Day 1
‘F2 – Fun & Frustration’ is storming at the box office. The film which had posted good numbers on day one, reported even better collections on day two in many theatres. In areas like Guntur, Krishna, Ceded and East Godavari, the film is likely to take lead among the Sankranthi releases.
Also the number of theatres are increasing for the film and so we expect the collections to jump in the coming days. ‘F2’ is definitely going to be a profit venture and distributors would be in safe hands. All the credit should go to director Anil Ravipudi for bringing a typical comedy and family entertainer considering the festival season.
