With a string a flops, star actress Trisha Krishnan was suffering through a rough patch until get last movie ’96’ opened to public. The feel-good love story, featuring Vijay Sethupathi as its main lead, was directed by a newcomer Prem Kumar.

Even after five weeks of release, the film which has opened to positive reviews and ratings is still performing well at the box-office. The makers, who didn’t expect that film will run for so long, made an agreement with Sun TV that right TV rights of this film. In the agreement with makers, were informed about the early telecast of ’96’ on the small screen. The channel is gearing up to premiere the film on November 6th, i.e on Diwali day.

But, the idea of telecasting the film for Diwali hasn’t gone down well with Trisha, who opined that the film is running in theatres with a good occupancy and advised that the TV channel management should reconsider the decision and asked: “the film would be telecasted for Pongal 2018. it’s unfair to telecast the film now as it is running well in theatres. Given that the film has high occupancy, telecasting on a TV will affect its long run in cinemas

Actress Laxmi Rai’s upcoming Telugu movie’s first look is unveiled sometime back.

The first look poster has the two female leads of the film, Laxmi Rai and Poojitha Ponnada side by side in close up angle. The poster has many revelations about its plot which is set against village.

Newcomer Kishore Kumar is directing the film and it also has Ram Karthik, Praveen and Madhunadhan. ‘Where Is The VenkataLakshmi’ is touted to be a thriller and has music of Hari Gowra and cinematography of Venkat Shakamuri.

The film is being produced by ABT Creations.

While firebrand Vijayashanti is already adding glamour to Congress campaign in Telanagana, soon one more yesteryear heroine will campaign for grand old party in the state.

Popular Tamil actress and spokesperson for Indian National Congress Khushboo will campaign in the state. According to the schedule decided by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, Khushboo will campaign in Warangal, Mahabubnagar and other areas.

Khushboo was a hugely popular star during her heroine days and her fans even built a temple for her. After movies, she joined DMK and later shifted to Congress.

Bollywood’s most stunning and famous couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be entering the wedlock in another ten days. The wedding festivities have already begun and as per media reports, Deepika is done with her wedding shopping.

Deepika has reportedly bought the most important accessory of the wedding, her mangalsutra, which contains a solitaire and is said to be worth Rs 20 Lakh while her entire bridal jewelry is said to be worth Rs 1 crore. Apart from her shopping, she also bought a chain for would-be Ranveer.

It will be a two-day event. As Deepika belongs to the Saraswat Brahmin community, wedding will first take place in traditional Konkani style on November 14th. On the following day i.e, on 15th, it’s going to be in Sindhi style.

The wedding ceremony will be held in Lake Como, Italy in the presence of family and close friends.
