SC lifts ban on women entering Sabarimala
The Supreme Court of India has lifted the ban on women entering Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala. A five-judge Supreme Court bench led by CJI Dipak Misra made this verdict ending an age-old ban on the entry of women between 10 and 50 years.
The Judgment read keeping women out of the temple on the basis of mensuration is against their dignity and to exclude them is derogatory. Disappointed with Supreme Court’s verdict, Sabarimala head priest Kandararu Rajeevaru said he would accept it anyhow.
Among the five-judge bench, Justice Indu Malhotra gives lone dissent and said that religious communities should decide their respective religious practices, not the court.
Post the apex court’s verdict, Travancore Devaswom Board president A Padmakumar said that they will file a review petition based on the gathering from other religious heads.
TRS fans worried over ‘Bhatukamma sarees’!
Once again it is that time of the year when the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi-led Government is gearing up to distribute sarees to women across Telangana State to mark Bhatukamma festival, which falls before Dussehra.
It is a known fact that the mega saree-distribution program received severe criticism last year for various counts. A large section of women were unhappy over not receiving the sarees, and those who received were unhappy with the quality on those. Though the ruling Party led by the Chief Minister KCR himself tried hard to downplay the entire issue and called the trouble as isolated incidents.
CM even said that except for a handful of women in few places, women across the State were happy with the sarees-distribution program. Photographs of women smiling, holding the sarees were released to the media to strengthen KCR’s claims.
This year too, the TRS is hoping sarees distribution program will be a huge success and would yield electoral success to the Party in the upcoming Elections to the Telangana State Assembly.
However, a section of followers and KCR fans are worried over the scheme, and its possible outcome! A senior journalist, who is a huge fan of the TRS supremo has expressed concerns over the Bhatukamma sarees distribution. He attributed the message he posted on his Facebook wall to an average women in the State of Telangana, who is unhappy over being given polyester sarees for the festive season.
The journalist’s message indicates that polyester sarees are out of fashion, and women in Telangana do not wear those sarees now. The senior scribe raised concerns that the move might have an adverse impact on the Party in the period when the State is about to go into the Election phase.
When asked about the same, Rukkamma, a daily wage labourer from Munugode mandal in Nalgonda district said, “Last year, I wasted an entire day to get the saree, which I did not even wear! Am not sure if I would like to waste another day to collect a saree which is not of great quality. I instead would wait and see the quality of sarees being distributed from other women in my village and then will decide if I really want to go and stand in queue to collect it. However, I do not mind taking it, if the saree is delivered at my doorstep.”

Revanth Owns 19 companies?
The income tax raids in Telengana Congress President A Revanth Reddy has disclosed that the leader allegedly owned 19 companies. He invested money in the shell companies. The preliminary investigation revealed that Revanth is the main beneficiary of all such ill gotten money along with his father in law named S Padma Reddy.
All the transactions were done by Sri Sai Mourya Estates and Projects Private Limited and sold out the plots and lands in the city at different places by forming a ring of his relatives. The companies Revanth floated are

Three People Planned to Kill Me: Pawan Kalyan
Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan’s speech at Eluru old bus stand was usual until the Janasena chief made a sensational revelation, that three criminals had plans to kill him during the elections time.
In a context of leaders spending crores to win in elections, Pawan kalyan claimed that he invested his life into party for the service of public and that he is not scared of death.
Recalling the recordings he heard sometime back, Pawan Kalyan alleged that three criminals conspired for his murder for the time of elections. Producer Hints a Bilingual On Allu Arjun’s Next
Gnanavel Raja bought the distribution and release right of Geetha Govindam in Tamil. The producer of Studio green Entertainments invested 20 lakh rupees on the film and has garnered around 2.87 crores till now and they are still pumping in the collections. The film drastically increased Vijay’s market there and this has become a plus point for NOTA.
Gnanavel Raja is gearing up for release of NOTA on October 5 and the producer is lauding Vijay for doing really well for the project. When asked about what how was Vijay on sets, Gnanavel said, “Director started praising him right from the first day. Right from the pronunciation of Tamil words to being punctual on sets, Vijay has done everything well. We are happy with the output and hope that Telugu audience will also like the film.”
Going by the way the producer is appreciating Vijay, looks like he will stay in Tamil for a long and gets busy even there too.
The producer is really in love with Telugu films these days and has said that he is going to bankroll Allu Arjun’s upcoming film in Telugu and says that this picture might also be a bilingual project.
“The film whether being a bilingual or not, I leave it to the director. But most probably, I have plans of making it a bilingual project,” added the producer.
In Talk: Legal Action On #KaushalArmy
In the USA, we generally say every single thing ending up in Court as people love to sue others most of the time. These days it is looking like India is also heading in the same direction.
Now some Facebook pages that run under the name #KaushalArmy are going to face the music if reports are to be believed. Actually, a company that runs FB page of TV9 anchor Deepthi Nallamothu has confirmed that they are taking legal action on Kaushal Army. Here’s their reason.
In fact, #KaushalArmy is busy accusing that Star Maa is intentionally cornering Kaushal from a long time. Later they trended on Twitter that Deepthi is paying huge to his company and the company is, in turn, creating fake IDs for more votes for her. They feel that Deepthi topped Kaushal in votes because of that voting and they expressed fear that even the final result will get toppled in this way.
But the company management feels that they are doing only legal stuff, providing SEO and marketing support to Deepthi’s FB page from a long time. And feeling offensive as well as losing reputation due to the accusations made by Kaushal Army, they are now lodging a case back on this army. Let’s see what happens.
RX100 Director Back To His Original Plan
Things change big time in the film industry if there is just one super success in the kitty. And that is what happening to RX100 director Ajay Bhupathi right now in Tollywood.
As that film became a phenomenal success in terms of posting huge numbers, many struggling star heroes are now after this filmmaker. The first one to give an advance for this director was none other than Nitin. But recently Ajay is in talks with Ram and Dulquer Salman for a multi-starrer. Seems like there is a change in the plan now.

Though Samantha’s “Thank You” at the end of this Insta story sounds dignified, some say that she shouldn’t have tackled those trolls in such harsh way. They feel that if Samantha’s also slaps back this way, then the trolling and abuse on social media will inflate but not otherwise.
However, hardcore fans of the actress are fully supporting her acts as they feel that trollers need to get a tight slap like a reply from Samantha as they are taking a dig at her on a personal level. When this so-called social police could use all the filthy language at her, what’s wrong in Sam reciprocating harshly to them, they ask.
