News that Nagarjuna has registered the title was doing rounds in the films circle sometime back and now, it’s confirmed. The Akkineni family is working hard on taking Manmadhudu 2 to the floors.At the recent promotions of Sailaja Reddy Alludu, Naga Chaitanya confirmed that the project is going on floors.

Rahul Ravindran, the director of Chi La Sow, which was produced by Annapurna Studios has narrated a story to Nagarjuna, Akhil and Naga Chaitanya and they have thought that it would be better if they go ahead with the project.

As the storyline was much closer to Manmadhudu, they have decided that Manmadhudu 2 will be apt as the title. Naga Chaitanya stated that his father was impressed with the story and will also bankroll the film.

“SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy” first look posters and teaser enjoyed great reach and appreciation as expected. The graphics in teaser fascinated all the film lovers and so did the look of “Chiranjeevi” in the film. But the producer ‘Ram Charan’ and director Surender Reddy are planning to release a new look.

Sye Raa first look and teaser had Chiranjeevi in middle-aged looks, a representation of first civil rebellion leader to fight against British, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Chiru is not going to be in the same attire throughout the film, but there is also a younger version of him shown.The team decided to launch that young look of the freedom fighter role very soon. It is going to be a different look altogether, which might be equally powerful and more handsome than the previous one.

On the other side, the shooting of Sye Raa is getting delayed and disrupted due to several impromptu issues. Looks like the historic film with a huge budget and expectations is going to take more time than anticipated, to see the light.

Actress Poorna is going to sizzle in a special song in the movie ‘Adhugo’ and a picture of her is unveiled. This Mallu beauty is seen in a ravishing still and it sets on fire.

The title song of ‘Adhugo’ will be released tomorrow and Poorna will be seen shaking leg with the piglet, Bunty. Prashanth Vihari has composed music for this film which is coming up with a unique concept.

Written and directed by Ravi Babu, ‘Adhugo’ is gearing up for Dusshera release. As the film has universal appeal, the makers are dubbing the film in multiple Indian languages too.

Blockbuster Telugu film Pelli Choopulu has been remade in Hindi as Mitron with Jacky Bhagnani playing the lead role.

Mitron that was out on Friday had a sluggish start at box office. It collected a paltry Rs. 50 lakh nett on its day 1 across India and couldn’t show any growth on Saturday too.

Mitron is also getting panned by Bollywood critics for its weak plot point and failed humor.

Pelli Choopulu was a smash hit and became a turning point for Vijay Deverakonda. But its Hindi version’s director and lead actor couldn’t repeat the magic of the original.

Not all blockbuster films can be as successful as the originals. It is difficult to recreate the magic of movies like Pelli Choopulu that strikes right chords with the viewers.

Meanwhile, its Tamil remake bought by Gautam Menon is yet to take off. Gautam has put the film on hold after actor Vishnu Vishal backed off from it.

Geetha Govindam has surpassed Trivikram’s career highest grosser ‘A..Aa’ ($2,453,227) and Chiranjeevi’s comeback film ‘Khaidi No 150’ ($2,447,862) to achieve this unbelievable feat. It remains to be seen whether “Geetha Govindam” will manage to overtake Mahanati’s ($2,580,364), with $126K difference.

With Geetha Govindam’s resounding hit, Vijay Deverakonda’s craze among the overseas audiences has risen by leaps and bounds. As of now, all eyes will be on his next release ‘NOTA’. “Geetha Govindam” has also given a newfound star status to its director Parasuram.

“Nani” started off with weekend pleasantries and immediately got into confronting the housemates beginning with “Geetha Madhuri”. The fortnight-long Swachh Rail campaign – Swachhta Hi Sewa – Pakhwara – started under South Central Railway on Saturday morning, with many renowned personalities of the city joining hands with railway authorities to sensitize people on keeping platforms spick and span.

The campaign has been mooted by Indian Railways on the lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ to create awareness among rail commuters. It will go on till October 2 to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.However, the main event for the day was organised at Kacheguda railway station under Hyderabad division of SCR. Film producer Dil Raju launched the campaign at the station.

However, the highlight of the event was the launch of an air-conditioned mobile digital movie theatre at the station, which would show films on clean rail and clean India for public awareness.Sources said the theatre can accommodate around 150 people at a time.“We shall play Hindi and Telugu feature films, which carry social messages like cleanliness,” said a railway official.

The digital movie theatre, which will be stationed at Kacheguda station for three days, will hold four shows a day, as per the plan of SCR.
