Countdown Begins: KTR
Telangana Industry and IT Minister KT Rama Rao made it clear that a clarity on dissolving the Assembly and go for early elections will come in four days. Amidst the reports that CM KCR is set to announce dissolving the Assembly on September 6, the minister statement assumed a political significance.
KTR said the count down began to finalise the early elections. Pragathi Nivedana Sabha was being organized to explain people the KCR government’s endeavor to make the new state a ‘Bangaru Telangana’. He rubbished Telangana Congress leader A Revanth Reddy’s comment that KCR and Co looted the state. “Yes, we have looted but it is Telangana people’s hearts and not money as alleged by the opposition.’
The minister also took a broadside at Revanth and TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy. The Congress leaders are dancing to the tune of Delhi bosses, he alleged.

Vijay Deverakonda starrer “Geetha Govindam” did also perform on strong note last weekend.It grossed nearly 300k dollars in three days and took its total cumulative gross to $2.1 million.
The film now stands at ninth place at all-time top Telugu hits. It crossed the lifetime gross of “Fidaa”.
It has to be seen how much more would “Geetha Govindam” collect. Rough estimate is that it might come near the life-time gross of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Khaidi No 150”.
After “Mahanati”, this is massive blockbuster among mid-range movies at USA box-office.

Dil Raju to Recheck Ram’s New Film?
With two back-to-back duds, Dil Raju’s image has had a dent. He was overconfident about his movies but his films were out right rejected by the audiences.Flops are part and parcel of the game, but the colossal failure of “Srinivasa Kalyanam” has put pressure on Dil Raju and his team.
He will now be chalking out strategies on his own. According to sources, he will double check his next film that stars Ram in the lead role.Titled “Hello Guru Prema Kosame”, the film is scheduled for October 18th release as Dassera special.Incidentally, the producer now feels that there is no one in his team who can gauge the pulse of the audience like himself.
If “Hello Guru Prema Kosame” also flops, his image as top producer will go down further. The film’s director Trinadha Rao and his writer Bejawada Prasanna Kumar are known for dishing out routine and regular stories.Their two previous hits “Cinema Choopista Mama” and “Nenu Local” didn’t receive good ratings from critics. Dil Raju is now worried about “Hello Guru” more than anything else.If he is not satisfied with the output, there are chances that the film might be postponed. He wants to apply Allu Aravind’s policy of reshooting, rechecking before it hits the screens.
Even the lead pair Ram and Anupama need a hit as their earlier films were flops.

Of late, it has become common for Telugu films to be aired on Amazon Prime and Hot Star. So, the news per se is no big deal.However, what makes it big news is the fact that the film will be the first Telugu film to be streamed by world’s leading platform Netflix. Starting tomorrow, the film will be available on Netflix.
However, the fact remains that the film was not only a huge disaster in theatres, but also on television.When aired on popular channels, it got the lowest ratings, which is not very surprising. So, the channel has been thinking twice about doing a repeat telecast.
Now that it will be aired on Netflix, if it clicks, then it will be huge news for Mahesh fans.

Mahesh, Namrata want their kids to have regard for tradition
While Mahesh Babu was away shooting for his next film, his two children celebrated Raksha Bandhan with much enthusiasm.
Mahesh Babu’s wife and actress Namrata said: “We take Raksha Bandhan very seriously in our home. The children have been told of its significance. My son Gautam and daughter Sitara take the ceremonial aspect of Raksha Bandhan very seriously.
“Both Mahesh and I want them to grow up with a healthy regard for tradition and custom. Also, we feel Raksha Bandhan is one occasion when the children get a chance to feel closer to one another. Not that they aren’t already close. But when you celebrate a relationship, you give it an added significance.”
The festival is being celebrated on Sunday.
