Well-known Yoga Guru, social activist Baba Ramdev has made interesting comments on the incumbent political scenario and the conflict between AP state government and Narendra Modi. Ramdev Baba has come to Tadepalli near Vijayawada to address ‘Yuva Swavalambana Sammelanam’ and after the event, he has spoken to local media on the sidelines.

Responding on the much talked about Special Category Status, Ramdev said the onus lies on the Prime Minister to fulfill the promise when it is made in the Parliament. He praised Chandrababu Naidu for the progress, development being carried out in the new state at rapid pace. Admitting that there are several challenges for the new state, Ramdev described Naidu as Dynamic Leader who is overcoming all obstacles, odds. He said AP would develop further and advised the state government to encourage the Food Processing Industry in the new state to flourish. He said food industry is prospering and would grow multi-fold in the coming years.

When asked about who will win in 2019 at the Centre and who has more chances as per his assessment, Ramdev has played it safe saying it is difficult to predict who will win in 2019. He even admitted that 2019 general election will be interesting. He asked the people to vote wisely and asked them to avoid the political instability in 2019.

Ramdev Baba has asked Narendra Modi to stop the killing of cows. He demanded the Centre to ban the killing of cows and take a firm stand against the illegal killing of cows. He even asked Centre to help the flood-hit Kerala state further. He also asked all the state governments to help Kerala. He said Patanjali firm has sent 2 Crore worth items to Kerala Relief.

As daughter of legendary NTR, Daggubati Purandeshwari has always enjoyed the blessings of Telugu people- particularly of Andhra Pradesh people although she was in Congress Party.AP People considered her as part of their family and gave a thumping majority in 2009 polls. As daughter of NTR, Purandeshwari took a strong objection to a recent speculation that Chandrababu-led TDP will form an alliance with Congress Party in state. ‘As a daughter of Late NTR, I totally oppose the political move. NTR launched TDP against Congress Party and always opposed the ideologies of them. So, I think it is going to be an unacceptable political mistake,’ said Chinnamma.

Though her statement is right as daughter of NTR, she now has to offer reasons why she had to join Congress, contest as their MP for two times and work as minister in their government. Her attack on Telugu Desham is now pointing back at her and she is equally responsible to tell AP people what political intentions she had in joining Congress Party by ignoring his father’s TDP.

If she offers a clarification about her past, Chandrababu Naidu will be answerable to the questions posed by Chinnamma.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has finalised to hold a biggest ever public meeting in the country with 25 lakh people on September 2 evening. The meeting is being called as ‘TRS Pragathi Nivedana Sabha’. It will be held at Kongara Kalan in Ibrahimpatnam in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

In the emergency meeting, KCR discussed with his cabinet colleagues the preparations for the meeting and entrusted the responsibilities to them to make grand success the meeting. KCR will make a detailed presentation of his government’s achievements and the implementation of the schemes successfully in the mammoth public meeting.

KCR will also hold a joint meeting of the state executive committee, Parliamentary Party, Legislature Party on August 24 at Telangana Bhavan where the leaders will be given instructions to make the meeting success.

Believe it or not, the Andhra Pradesh government headed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reimbursed nearly Rs 3 lakh to state finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu for undergoing a very simple treatment for his toothache problem.According to a government order issued on Thursday (GO Rt No. 1844 dated August 23, 2018), the general administration department accorded sanction of Rs 2,88,823 to be reimbursed to Yanamala for undergoing treatment for his toothache.

The expenditure will be accounted for under medical bills reimbursement eligible for ministers and deputy ministers.Now, what kind of tooth problem Yanamala had and where had he undergone treatment?The answer is: he was suffering problem in the roots of his teeth and he had to undergo root canal treatment. For that, he travelled all the way to Singapore on April 12 this year and got the treatment done at Azure Dental, 22, Sixth Avenue.

Root canal treatment is a simple procedure which is done in any small time dental clinic in Andhra Pradesh.In fact, cities like Hyderabad and Vijayawada have dental clinics in almost every locality and it costs not more than Rs 5,000.Even in the best of corporate hospitals in Hyderabad or Vijayawada, the treatment might not cost more than Rs 50,000, as it is just a procedure done for a couple of hours.

And remember, the state government paid Rs 3 lakh just for medical bills and not for the travel to Singapore, which is an additional expenditure.At a time when Naidu is claiming that he is making Amaravati a health capital, is it necessary for Yanamala to spend so much money for just a simple treatment, particularly when every rupee counts for the state?
