Raashi Khanna hoped that “Srinivasa Kalyanam” would put her on top league of actresses but her hopes plummetted with the film taking home below par collections and critics completely trashing it.She seemed to be shell-shocked with the reviews as she was completely under the spell that Dil Raju produced only amazing movies. Surely, she did not expect such backlash.

However, this former mass communication student showed her immature attitude by liking fans’ tweets wherein they called people who wrote negative reviews as ‘bastards’.Well, looks like she is the latest entrant to the list of celebrities who cannot take negative reviews for their films, more so of their much-flaunted films.

Raashi Khanna in her entire career only won praise for her role in ‘Tholi Prema’ which got thumbs up from the critics and audiences. This actress is now not digesting negative comments.

Recently, the summer blockbuster, ‘Mahanati’ movie headed to Australia for the most prominent Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Director Nag Ashwin’s bilingual biopic got screened at the festival this year. Movie unit including Nag Ashwin, Keerthy Suresh etc attended the event. Bollywood movie critic, Taran Adarsh met with the ‘Mahanati’ team and shared the picture on social media revealing that the movie received a prestigious award at the festival.

“An absolute honor to share the frame with the glorious team of #Mahanati in Australia, at the #IFFM after party… The film won a prestigious award at #IFFM2018 this evening.” Tweeted Taran Adarsh with a picture of him with the team. ‘Mahanati’ movie which came out as the biopic of iconic actress Savitri became a blockbuster in India as well as the overseas.

Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salman played the roles of Savitri and Gemini Ganeshan respectively.

Allu Aravind issued a warning over the piracy during the pre-release event of ‘Geetha Govindam’. He was referring to the leakage of scenes from the Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandana-starrer prior to the release.

At the pre-release event, Allu Aravind said: ‘Few scenes of ‘Geetha Govindam’ got leaked. I wish to convey one thing to those involving in the piracy…Don’t get beaten up by Vijay Devarakonda Fans. I’m not provoking Fans to take the law into their hands, but warning you not to create such a situation. Even police department would take necessary action on pirates. Whoever indulges in piracy will get caught by tracking their IP Address. It’s shameful that such activities are happening in the Industry. I felt sad knowing pre-release piracy happened in the case of three other films. Our film releases within three days…So, There won’t be any damage even if few clips were leaked. But, Few big-budgeted films are now facing the threat of pre-release piracy. That’s why I am warning you’.

Reacting to the loud chants of Fans, Mega Producer told he was used to such things after experiencing it every time when he shared the stage with Chiru. He claims to have signed a 3-film deal with Parasuram due to the belief in his calibre.

Allu Aravind went on to say Vijay Devarakonda will have a 100 films career due to his versatility and will be one among Top Stars soon. He told Geetha Arts waited for three months to obtain the call sheets of Rashmika and she has done a terrific job.

Most awaited biggie of the year Aravinda Sametha starring Jr. NTR in the lead role is gearing up for release on Oct 11. Teaser of the film will be unveiled on Aug 15 at 9 AM. Pre look poster of the teaser shows NTR in action mode. Tarak’s stylish pose sitting in a chair with a goon lying down on the floor is sure to give goosebumps for fans.

However, the chair in the pre look brings back the memories of Agnyathavasi poster that also featured a chair. That much hyped scene turned out to be a dampener in the movie.

In fact they had withdrawn the theatrical trailer that was supposed to be launched on Sunday.

Makers don’t want to give any additional details about the plot in the trailer after the videos were leaked.There is a chance for viewers to guess the plot after seeing leaked videos and theatrical trailer. So they decided to hold back the trailer and releasing the movie according to the planned schedule.

Geetha Govindam is hitting the screens on Aug 15 and the advance bookings trend indicates the real craze that is surrounding the film. These leaks haven’t shown any effect on the movie’s craze among the film lovers.Red hot Vijay Deverakonda is sure to attract youngsters in big numbers on the opening day.

We all know Tollywood hulk Rana Daggubati is roped in to play Nara Chandrababu Naidu in NTR biopic.For this role, Rana underwent a makeover and turned lean as well. He appeared completely shaved after very long time and sported thick moustache.

That’s a commendable effort by Rana and very soon he would join the sets of NTR. However, how long Rana’s role is going to be in the movie is yet to be known. Krish is directing the movie which has many popular artists in prominent personalities roles.Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan are playing the lead roles in NTR. The shoot is in progress and Keeravani is composing music.

“Rana met a few of Naidu’s friends to get information about him and how he talks and behaves. He is also watching videos of the A.P. Chief Minister and keenly observing him,” says a source, adding, “He is mainly concentrating on Naidu’s accent.” NTR biopic is being produced by NBK, Vishnu Induri, Sai Korrapati and MRV Prasad.

1) Srinivasa Kalyanam: A lot of expectations were riding on Srinivasa Kalyanam prior to its release. Coming from Dil Raju’s production house, the film was expected to take a strong opening, but it has opened to below par numbers on Thursday.

It held well on Saturday and Sunday despite poor word of mouth. It is a total dud in overseas and did better in Telugu states in comparison. But overall numbers in first weekend were not up to the mark as the stakes are very high.

2) Goodachari: Adivi Sesh’s spy thriller has been enjoying blockbuster run at the cinemas. It continued to do well in its second weekend and is looking good to go the distance.

Its performance across A centers and multiplexes has been beyond expectations. It is also enjoying terrific run in USA.

3) Vishwaroopam 2: Sequel to Vishwaroopam has failed to live up to the expectations. Kamal’s poor show as writer and director has turned out to be its biggest weakness.

Although the film was sold for reasonable prices, recovery looks unlikely given the bad show in its opening weekend.

4) Chi La Sow: Much publicized romantic drama Chi La Sow failed to live up to the pre release buzz. Its collections have been below par to this point.

5) Saakshyam: Bellamkonda Srinivas’s high budget action film ended up as one of the biggest flops of the year.
