Mahesh Babu setting box office records is nothing new. But here’s a rare record which the Superstar has set recently. Global leader in online encyclopedia Wikipedia has become the latest platform for this pan-Indian star’s stunning record.
As per the latest survey, Mahesh Babu’s Wikipedia page became the most viewed page among all other Tollywood celebrities this year. Mahesh’s Wiki page received 1,314,299 views this year, with an average daily of 6,443 daily views.
After Mahesh Babu, it’s Allu Arjun (1,130,834), Ram Charan (902,823), Prabhas (880,416), Pawan Kalyan (772,177) and NTR Jr (696,892) are the Tollywood stars who got highest number of views for their Wiki pages.

‘Pawan’s Wives’ is Not Jagan’s Headache: Undavalli
Undavalli Arun Kumar, who is known as YSR’s close aide, has found fault with Jagan’s personal comments on Pawan Kalyan. Reacting to Jagan’s comments, Undavalli said it is 100 percent fault of Jagan to intervene into the personal space of Pawan.
“How many wives Pawan has is only the problem of him and his wives. It is not Jagan’s headache,” said Undavalli in Delhi. He said he has not seen Jagan’s comments but he said he has read it in the newspapers and found it wrong.
Undavalli said he would found fault with any political party or political leader who makes such personal comments irrespective of the political parties. Interestingly, ruling TDP has also come to the support of Pawan against Jagan’s personal comments.
Telangana Bill Not Passed in Parliament
Reiterating his statement, Undavalli Arun Kumar said the Telangana Bill is not passed in parliament and said the manner in which the bill was stated as passed in the previous government (2014) is undemocratic. He said he is looking forward to see someone move a debate on the topic in the house in order to admit it as a grave mistake and such mistakes won’t be repeated in the parliament again. Undavalli argued that two MPs were in the well when then Speaker Meira Kumar introduced the bill in the house and it is not as per the letter and spirit of the Parliament norms, rules. He even said the head-count is also less than the total number of attendees in the house then which clearly indicates that “Majority” have not agreed for the bill that means the Telangana Bill is not reality.
Undavalli said he is not demanding to turn back the clock, but he is saying it is a bad precedent and the “Black Day” in the history of the Parliament. Undavalli said all he is demanding is to raise debate on it so that such things won’t repeat in Parliament.
Overseas: RX100 Ends Up As A Super Flop !

Hero doubles endorsement fee to Rs 6 cr?
Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly doubled his brand endorsement fee after the blockbuster success of his recent film, Sanju.The actor will, however, carefully choose the brands he wants to partner with and will shoot several commercials in the next few weeks.The report on DNA quotes a source as saying, “Ranbir has almost doubled his remuneration in the brand space. He is quite popular among the youth. While none of his failures deterred his brand value, his latest hit has only bettered it.”
According to a report on Rediff.com, Ranbir charges between Rs 3 crore to Rs 3.5 crore for a day’s work on commercials, which would increase his new quote to at least Rs 6 crore per day.According to Rediff, the actor currently endorses brands such as Asian Paints, Pepsi, Panasonic, Renault, Flipkart, Macroman, Saavn, and Hero MotoCorp.Vijay Subramaniam, co-CEO of KWAN, the company that manages Ranbir, said, “Ranbir has mostly 10 brands (endorsements) at any given time and this makes him quite exclusive.”
Ranbir increased fee is still not enough for him to be considered the most valuable Indian celebrity.According to a report by Duff & Phelps, cricketer Virat Kohli tops the list with a brand value of $144 million (Rs 912 crore), followed by Shah Rukh Khan ($106 million, Rs 678 crore) and Deepika Padukone ($93 million, Rs 595 crore).Before Sanju, which has made over Rs 500 crore worldwide, Ranbir had starred in 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
He will reunite with Wake Up Sid director Ayan Mukerji next on Brahmastra, which also stars his girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. He is also doing Yash Raj’s Shamshera.
Vijaya Sai Reddy regrets his remark against RS Chair
New Delhi: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Rajya Sabha leader Vijaya Sai Reddy on Wednesday regretted his remark against the Chair during a short duration discussion on non-implementation of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.”I am sorry for the incident that happened yesterday (on Tuesday),” Sai said in the Upper House.
He said that he argued with the Chair as he was not given sufficient opportunity to explain the issue which was emotive for him.
“I met the MoS Parliamentary Affairs and explained the circumstances. My intention was not to disrespect the Chair,” he said.Reddy expressed regret after Minister of State Vijay Goel raised the issue.He, without taking the name, said that some member went into the well on Tuesday during the discussion on special status issue for Andhra Pradesh and used words which were against the dignity of the House.
“The House should condemn it and the member concerned should regret,” Goel said.Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad said that whatever happened was “unfortunate” and should not be repeated.Asking the members to move on, Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu said, “It is over now” and told them to adhere to the allotted time during debates.
“Everyone has to cooperate. The issue of Andhra Pradesh was emotive for me too. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also spoke yesterday but he conveyed the message in such a manner that the purpose was served,” he said.”It is painful for me too to stop and ask to sit down. This is not a thing which I enjoy,” Naidu added.Reddy on Tuesday wanted more time to speak during the discussion but the Chairman stopped him as his allotted time was over.
He, then, went near the Chairman’s podium and opposed it, saying something which was not audible.

Charan Brings Partner To Keep Tab On Sye Raa
One of the most ambitious high budgeted films that are going to enthral Telugu cinema lovers after “Baahubali” is none other than “Sye Raa”. Featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the role of earliest known freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the film is bankrolled by Ram Charan.
While Charan is getting himself busy with his own films, somehow costs of the project are getting escalated. Say it due to the presence of many big stars and Hollywood technicians or due to Surender Reddy taking extra time to carve some scenes, or due to rains halting the shooting, investment over Sye Raa is said to be growing big.
To keep a tab on this budget, now Ram Charan got Chiranjeevi’s admirer NV Prasad as a partner in crime, who happens to be a popular distributor, producers and investor from Ceeded area. He made movies like Rachha earlier with Charan and will be now taking care of Sye Raa production. Maybe he will pouring some money as well, says a source.
However, there is budget worry for Sye Raa because apart from Ram Charan, they have Lyca Productions as well backing the project.
