Vijayashanthi’s Dreams Go Kaput
With elections round the corner, former number one actress firebrand Vijayashanti has put on hold her dream of coming back into Tollywood.Known as Lady Amitabh, Vijayashanti is the first Indian actress who charged Rs 1 Cr as remuneration. She took this remuneration during her heydays two decades back.
After losing in last general elections, Vijayashanti got dejected and thought of making a comeback with sequel to “Osey Ramulamma”, but things didn’t go as planned with the demise of Dasari Narayana Rao.Later, she joined gym to lose weight and got back into shape to do a movie with military backdrop. However, this project too is not happening.
She is now going to meet Rahul Gandhi and demand better position in Congress party. She wants to lead election campaign from the front to take on the ruling Telangana Rastra Samithi.

Insult: Modi refuses to meet TDP MPs
The Telugu Desam Party is bearing the brunt of its decision to come out of the National Democratic Alliance led by Bharatiya Janata Party at the Centre.Ever since the TDP snapped its ties with the BJP and its president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu started attacking the Centre in general and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in particular, the TDP leaders, including MPs, have become insignificant in Delhi. Nobody in the Central government is caring for the TDP.
On Thursday, the TDP MPs faced a humiliation of sorts when they sought an appointment with the Prime Minister, to discuss the issue of steel plant at Kadapa for which their Rajya Sabha MP C M Ramesh has been on a hunger strike for the last nine days. They were hoping to get at least a five minutes’ appointment to submit a memorandum.However, to their utter humiliation, Modi refused to see the TDP MPs and they were told the Prime Minister was too busy to meet anybody.
However, it was only on Wednesday that he gave sufficient time to Telangana Rashtra Samithi minister K T Rama Rao to represent a similar demand – steel plant at Bayyaram.It clearly shows that Modi is clearly unwilling to meet the TDP MPs and entertaining their demand. It was nothing but natural for Modi to react in that manner, as the TDP MPs have been attacking him day in and day out.
Having no other option, the MPs are now planning to meet Union minister for steel Birendra Singh again in the evening and submit a letter written by Naidu on the Kadapa steel plant issue.
KCR visits Andhra when Naidu is not around!
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday went to Vijayawada in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh state to fulfil his vow of presenting a diamond-studded golden nose ring to Goddess Kanaka Durga on Indra Keeladri.
So far so good. But the timing of his visit appears to be a little odd. KCR had gone to Vijayawada at a time when his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu was not around.The Andhra chief minister left for Srikakulam at 9 am in the morning to participate in Eruvaka programme – of initiating sowing of seeds for the Kharif crops which is taken up with a lot of festive fervour.KCR landed only after Naidu left for Srikakulam. Apparently, KCR fixed his schedule only after getting the programme of Naidu confirmed, so that he would not face the situation of meeting the Andhra chief minister.
Had Naidu been in Vijayawada, KCR could not have avoided meeting him at least as per the courtesy.It is quite obvious that both the chief ministers have not been seeing eye-to-eye for quite some time, ever since the Telangana government reopened the cash for vote scandal. Even during the recent Niti Aayog meeting, they avoided each other.However, Naidu did not forget to extend all the protocol formalities to KCR, though he did not get the chance to meet the latter.
He deputed his senior minister Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao to receive KCR at the airport and bring him to the hotel for a brief stay. The Andhra police gave KCR a guard of honour.Traffic restrictions were imposed in Vijayawada for the smooth travel of KCR and his convoy to Kanaka Durga temple, where he was received with full temple honours.
The entire family of KCR got a royal treatment at the temple.

Heartthrobs of millions, Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt joined hands for famous director Quentin Tarantino’s Sony Pictures movie ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. It is heard that Dicaprio first signed the movie followed by Brad and Margot Robbie.
According to Tarantino, the story takes place in LA in 1969 and the lead characters are Rick Dalton (Dicaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his body double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt).
The first look of the film is revealed by Dicaprio on his Instragram account and the picture has taken internet by storm. Many are leaving ‘coolest dudes’ comments on the picture. Along with fans of these stars, Quentin’s worldwide fans have been waiting for his movie since a long time. His other announced movies are ‘Kill Bill 3’ and ‘Star Trek Project’.
Jayanth Catches Another Political Heir!
Some directors are known for introducing newcomers and some producers are known for introducing star kids. And there is this vintage director who is right now introducing some political heirs.
Long ago, director Jayanth C Paranji is the most sought after one but these days his films are not getting the attention anymore. Becuase of sloppy stories and outdated narration, he’s unable to roll the dice to big numbers. However, he’s the favourite for golden-spoon guys who want to make a splash in the film industry.
After a long break post Pawan Kalyan’s Teenmaar, recently Jayanth introduced Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s son Ganta Ravi through “Jayadev” movie. Now he’s bringing another newcomer named Nilesh Eti, who comes up from a prominent political family. With the story of a boxer, who fights in Pakistan for the sake of India, Jayanth is launching this guy through the movie which is tentatively titled “Narendra”. The film has Brazilian model Izabelle Leite playing a Pakistani human rights activist.
It looks like the heirs of many political families are these days finding Jayanth as the right person to launch their sons and they are investing themselves in production by paying a huge sum to the director as well.

If the producer is spending more on a hero, then the hero should have all the responsibility on earth to deliver the best for him. Despite the fact that they are father and son, now Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan duo are doing the same.
We have to say that Chiru is giving utmost respect to his producer, like always he expressed that producer is not just cashier but a leader of the workforce. Right now they are shooting an action sequence for #SyeRaa on the outskirts of Hyderabad at an abandoned fort. It is about Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy attacking a British fort and escaping off with the guns and other armoury. Reports have that Ram Charan is spending huge amount for the episode.
Nearly thirty fighters imported from the UK are taking part in the shoot under the supervision of action director Greg Powell. And guess what, as the shooting is getting little delayed, even the 60+ star Chiranjeevi is staying till wee hours ie. 3 am in the morning and coming back to the shoot by 9 am in the day again. That’s the kind of hard work and dedication he’s pouring into the film.
Onlookers commented that Chiranjeevi is always a producer’s actor first and gives importance to every penny being spent. In case if he walks off from the shoot by 6 in the evening, it will be costing 10 more days and some more additional crores for the film.
She Is The First Choice For Agnyaathavasi And BAN?
Welcoming their new heroine, the Goan siren Ileana D’cruz, now Mythri Makers has officially released a welcome poster. From today, she’s joining the shooting of her Telugu after a five-year hiatus from the industry that gave her fame, money and everything else. And here goes an interesting snippet.
Ileana will be now seen romancing Ravi Teja yet another time after some films like Khatarnak, Kick and Devudu Chesina Manushulu, in Sreenu Vytla’s Amar Akbar Antony. Reportedly it’s not just Ileana who is happy but looks like the whole of Tollywood is feeling happy about this. Because, lack of star heroines and lack of choices among the ones already there, Ileana’s arrival is giving relief to some heroes.
Guess what, Ileana is approached not for just this Ravi Teja’s film, but earlier she was sent a call by Trivikram and also Koratala Siva too. Reports are coming that she is the first choice for Agnyaathavasi, after which they roped in Keerthi Suresh for the part. And then Bharat Anu Nenu team also approached this hottie for the role as her comeback will add more vibe to the film, but later Koratala Siva felt that a newcomer will be best.
Anyway, Tollywood still unfurling a red carpet for Ileana is a surprising thing and hope she will excel in this second innings like it happened in her first stint. Is she game for the same glamour treat yet again? That’s what we have to see.
