281 And Beyond: More Controversial Stuff Inside?
He is Very Very Special aka VVS. Yes, we are talking about the iconic Indian cricketer, proud crown winner for Telugu people, VVS Laxman. And his knock of 281 against Australia at Eden Garden in 2011 is so memorable that it has now become the name of his book too.
‘281 And Beyond’ is the autobiography of VVS Laxman, which he has co-authored with another writer. While the Telugu cricketer claimed that it will be pretty quiet and interesting, it looks like the book has its share of controversies. After being in the cricketing limelight for 20 years as a player, surely Laxman has many things to share, especially regarding his rifts with other players, selectors and also his exit from international cricket due to MS Dhoni’s pressure.
The teaser promotional material of the book reads, ‘Despite being a better knocker against all types of bowling, Laxman never made it to the world cup playing team of the Men In Blue. How should we read this? Is this autobiography controversy free? Or there is more controversial stuff inside?

Heroine’s Attitude: Producers Stand In Front Of Her
She is not a star heroine, but she earned so much popularity with just single film. Her fame got tripled with the movie and audiences went berserk for her acting talent. Although she was not the hero, she had pulled off the whole film on her shoulders through the role. Later, several rumours about the heroine’s attitude did rounds. Even a few co-stars of her have publicly complained about her attitude and alleged ‘head-strong’ nature.
While many rumours about her attitude did rounds earlier, her team tried its best to quash them. Yet, there was no much use as one or the other rumour about her would come out often. And the latest is her alleged behaviour with the producers of her film.
During the shoot of her film (outside Telugu states), the heroine said to have shown her tantrums a lot. In fact, her film’s producers who are just starting in industry were often made to stand in front of her, said the onlookers on the sets. Talk is that several new, young producers who come to her to make a film are said to be getting similar treatment. Although the producers aren’t happy with the said heroine’s attitude, they don’t have any other choice.

Vijay Deverakonda’s NOTA film director Anand Shankar is engaged and he who claims to be a too private and shy person puts up his private yet joyous moments on Twitter.
The young director posted his pictures from his proposal of love to his girlfriend in Dubai. In those pictures, Anand is seen spending cozy time with his girlfriend showing off the ‘ring’ on her hand and the duo kissing in a private yacht with Dubai skyline in the background.
The happiest, Anand Shankar revealed that this remains his first ever post about his private life and he really felt like sharing his happiness with all. Well, that seems to be a dreamy and adorable proposal.

Tamil Rockers Threatens to release HD Print of Sarkar!
Vijay’s Sarkar is all geared up for mammoth release on Tuesday with the makers and distributors in excitement after the huge pre-release business. But a tweet from the piracy giant, Tamil rockers has shaken them now.
Tamil Rockers Twitter handle tweeted that they will be releasing HD print of Sarkar online, only in hours after the theatrical release.
Shocked Tamil Film Producers Council issued a statement, asking all the theater owners and handlers to deploy personnel in theaters to prevent recording the film on cell phones and other cameras. The council also mentioned the ‘challenge’ of Tamil Rockers and stressed that it is our responsibility to make sure that the film will not get pirated.
Tamil Rockers is one film piracy website, which challenged many films earlier and released the piracy versions online. Many Tamil film bigheads tried their best to put the website down, but their attempts went vain.
Vijay’s ‘Sarkar’ is directed by AR Murugadoss with Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar in other main roles. The story revolves around an NRI entrepreneur who wishes to change the present political scenario in the state. There was a plagiarism controversy regarding the film, but now it was sorted out as the director Murugadoss agreed to give credits to the writer who also registered the similar plot as Sarkar.

Balakrishna Prefers Chandra Siddharth over Vinayak
It was widely reported that V V Vinayak will be essaying the role of director Dasari Narayana Rao in NTR’s Biopic. But Balayya preferred another director over Vinayak.
Chandra Siddharth of “Aa Naluguru” fame is finally reprising the role of Dasari in this NTR Biopic. His sequences have already been shot.
Dasari had directed super hit movies “Sardar Paparayudu” and “Bobbili Puli” with late NTR. Chandra Siddharth will be seen directing these movies in the biopic.
Interestingly, Chandra Siddharth’s name was also considered as director for this biopic when Teja walked out. However, it was eventually handed over to Krish.
To compensate Chandra Siddharth, Balayya must have given this role to him.
Naga Shaurya gets Jolt from Producer?
Naga Shaurya has slowed down after the debacle of “Narthanasala”. It was his conscious decision to focus on good scripts rather than signing movies in hurry.
However, he didn’t expect that a big producer would apply breaks to his movie just because one film tanked.
Industry is abuzz with the reports that producer V Ananda Prasad, who produced Balakrishna’s “Paisa Vasool” and Gopichand starrer “Loukyam”, has ordered his team to put on hold the the shoot of Naga Shaurya’s movie that was launched couple of months ago.
The film was launched in the direction of a debutant. It is said that the producer felt it is too risky to go ahead with this project with a new director. “Narthanasala” was also directed by newcomer and it failed to take openings.
However, the producer gave a convincing reason for the “temporary stall”. Since he is contesting from Serlingampally assembly constituency on the TDP ticket in the ensuing Telangana polls, he needs money for the election expenditure.
Hence he informed Naga Shaurya that this film should be stopped for few months. But Naga Shaurya has his own doubts about this project. He is now moving on to another film.
Arjun grilled by cops, denies Sruthi Hariharan charge
Bengaluru: Multilingual actor, Arjun Sarja, on Monday reportedly denied all the allegations made by the complainant and actress Sruthi Hariharan who had accused Sarja of misbehaving with her during the making of the bilingual film Vismaya in 2015.
According to sources, Sarja asked the Cubbon Park police who questioned him on Monday why Sruthi did not bring any alleged incident to the notice of the director or the other crew members if anything had happened on the sets while shooting the film. He also informed the police that the scenes were decided by the director and he had played no role in it.
The director of Vismaya, Arun Vaidhyanathan and producer, Umesh in their statement, had told the police that no such incident was brought to their notice by anyone and they knew nothing about it.
Sruthi who joined the #MeTo campaign, had filed the complaint with the police alleging that Sarja sexually harassed her and touched her inappropriately on the sets.
The police registered an FIR based on her complaint under sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty, 354A (Sexual Harassment), and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).
Sarja appeared before the investigating officer, B Ayyanna Reddy, the police inspector of Cubbon Park police station along with his lawyer and his cousins, Dhruva Sarja and Chiranjivi Sarja on Monday morning at 10:30 am.
The investigating officer along with other officers questioned Sarja for almost two hours. The police said that the actor cooperated well and was asked a series of questions regarding the incidents which were described by the complainant.
According to a source, a police video recorded his statements along with written statements. The actor reportedly told the police that he did not know Sruthi before and met her only on the first day of shooting of the film. He also informed them that he was not present during the auditions for the female lead actress.
The Karnataka HC on Friday ordered the city police not to arrest actor Arjun Sarja until the next hearing on November 14 and hence the actor was summoned by the police for questioning.

The massive multi-starrer featuring NT Ramarao and Ram Charan directed by SS Rajamouli is all set to be launched on 11-11 at 11:11 AM.
Who’s who of Telugu cinema industry are going to be present at the launch of the biggest multi-starrer of this era.
Rajamouli is yet to reveal the details about the plot and backdrop of the most anticipated movie in the making. However, media is speculating that it is an action drama set in pre-independence times.
According to the latest buzz on #RRR there will be three female leads in the film and one of them is a foreigner.
Female leads are yet to be finalized as Rajamouli is looking for actresses that have pan India appeal. #RRR will have simultaneous release in multiple languages like Baahubali movies.
We can expect actors from various languages to play pivotal roles in it. DVV Danayya is pooling money bags for the film which would reportedly cost Rs. 300 crore for its making.
Which Way Muslims Swing: TRS or Congress?
At a meeting held at Sangareddy on Sunday evening, Majlis-e-Ittahadul Muslimeen (MIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi giving an open appeal to Muslims of Telangana not to vote for Maha Kootami but only to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the coming assembly elections.
This has led to the discussion in political circles as to which way Muslims of Telangana would swing — will the Muslims go by the call given by Owaisi or take an independent decision on their voting.
The Congress party is hopeful that Muslims had realised the cheating by the TRS with its false promises before 2014.
Chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao lured the Muslims in the last elections with the promise of giving 12% reservation in jobs and education. He did not fulfil the promise in the last four-and-a-half years and today he is not even talking about it.
“Muslims of Telangana are poor, but not fools. When we trust someone, we mean it. But when someone tries to cheat us and play with our sentiments, we don’t spare them. KCR took the Muslim community for granted and therefore, TRS will be punished with a humiliating defeat in next elections,” PCC minority leader Abullah Sohail said.
He exhorted the Muslims to come out of ‘we are minorities’ syndrome.
“Muslims constitute over 13% of total population in Telangana State. We have a sizeable presence in almost 40 Assembly constituencies and our votes are the deciding factor. No political party should dare to humiliate you as it was done by TRS. Realise your strength and use it to defeat TRS for not fulfilling any of the promises that it made with the community,” he said.
He said KCR should be punished for having secret alliance with the BJP and for strengthening Hindutva forces at the national level.
He also asked the Muslims to be cautious with MIM which could enter the fray from many constituencies only to divide Muslim votes.
“Any vote for TRS or MIM will be a vote for BJP,” he said.
On the other hand, the TRS is banking on the welfare schemes launched by KCR government by enhancing the budgetary allocation from Rs 1,030 crore in 2014-15 to Rs 2000 crore in 2018-19.
The biggest benefit KCR had done for the Muslims is establishment of 200 residential schools and colleges exclusively for Muslims, where they are given free education, food and clothing up to Class 12.
This is besides routine sops for Muslims like Shadi Mubarak (financial assistance to poor Muslim couples) and Ramzan gifts.
So, it will be interesting to watch how Muslims would vote in the coming elections.
