Rythu Bandhu Is Of No Help To TRS?
The recently launched Rythu Bandhu scheme is considered to be a game changer for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government headed by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and is expected to fetch a lot of political mileage to the ruling party in the next elections.
However, ground reports indicate a different scenario. While the scheme was lauded as the unique one in the country, it benefitted only big farmers and lakhs of tenant farmers depending on agriculture have got no benefit. They are now revolting against the TRS government.
Sources said KCR received intelligence reports that it is not going to be so easy for the TRS in the next elections.There is a lot of anti-incumbency wave against the TRS and at least 40 MLAs, and include those who won on TRS tickets in the 2014 elections and those who defected to the ruling party from other parties, would have tough time in retaining their seats.
The TRS has 90 MLAs at present, including 36 defectors. Of them, only 40-50 MLAs have the potential of winning again, provided they work hard from now.Regarding others, the chances of winning are bleak. This is contrary to his claims that the TRS would win 100 out of 119 assembly seats.After seeing the reports, KCR has come to the conclusion that it is not advisable to give party tickets to all the sitting MLAs, as promised by him in the past.
However, he cannot say it openly now, because the moment he makes the announcement that he would not give tickets to 40-50 sitting MLAs, there is a possibility of large scale defection of them into other parties.This will disturb the party rank and file before the elections and give a big body blow to the party. At the same time, he cannot take decisions at the last moment, because if he suddenly drops the sitting MLAs, he cannot find new candidates immediately. They need at least six months to build their hold in the constituencies.
So, it is a tricky situation for KCR!
Aatagallu teaser: Rohith and Jagapathi play mind games

Recently, an idiot called Chundu Sudhakar posted a video in which he spoke derogatorily about the Brahmin community.Such videos cannot be without consequences in terms of creating rifts between communities.
A Kamma builder in Visakhapatnam started an apartment project in Madhurawada area of the city. Since the builder was a Kamma, naturally the majority of buyers were also Kammas.But after the Chundu Sudhakar episode was given publicity by the media, especially by TDP-affiliated Maha TV, the relations between the two communities have only soured.
In Visakhapatnam, the Brahmins who booked units in that apartment complex cancelled their bookings as they didn’t want to be neighbors with the Kammas and because of this, the other community people have cancelled their bookings as well as they stated that they didn’t want to stay in an apartment block dominated by the Kammas.
Now, the builder is left with bookings only from his community and is looking to sell the rest of the units again.Talk about casteism in Andhra Pradesh!
Less about Film industry in Sammohanam
The trailer of Sudheer Babu and Aditi Rao Hyderi’s ‘Sammohanam’ gave us the impression that the film will focus a lot on Telugu film industry as the female lead is a movie star.Aditi Rao has played the role of a movie star while Sudheer Babu did the role of a commoner who hates movies.
However, director Indraganti Mohan Krishna says the film doesn’t focus much on the glamour world.It dwells on workings of the movie industry for less than 20 minutes and the rest is on the romantic track between the lead pair, he revealed during the movie’s promotional interviews.It has also been widely speculated that the film is a copy of ‘Notting Hill’, a British blockbuster starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.
‘Notting Hill’ is all about this: “The life of a simple bookshop owner changes when he meets the most famous film star in the world.” But Indraganti says he got the idea for ‘Sammohanam’ when he met a guy who hates movie world while filming his earlier movie ‘Golconda High School’.Whether he is telling truth or lies will be known on June 15, when the film hits the screens.

Sometime back, there was a 2-page full interview of actor Vijay Devarakonda in a leading English daily.Nothing wrong in that, except that this daily sells 90 percent of its space which means even Mahesh, Ram Charan or Jr NTR, have to fork out money to promote their films at the time of release in this newspaper.
Therefore, Tollywood biggies were shell-shocked to see this free interview of Vijay Devarakonda and that too in two full pages.Naturally, they were angry at this preferential treatment being meted out. But little do they know about the clout that Devarakonda has with this newspaper.
When his film Arjun Reddy released, it got a rating of 2.25 on that newspaper’s portal which was subsequently changed to 4/5.Also, he was one of the hosts for an awards ceremony belonging to the same newspaper. Need one say more?
What Are Jagan And Pawan’s Intentions?
Both YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan have come down heavily on the concept of Amaravati.Now that the elections are approaching, they need to tell the people what they intend to do about Amaravati if they come to power.Chandrababu on his part has already said that he wants people to vote for him till 2050 for Amaravati to take shape.
Jagan in the past had declared that he would return all the lands to farmers if he becomes the Chief Minister whereas Pawan Kalyan who said he will contest all the 175 seats is yet to make known his opinion.Have the works on Amaravati gone so far that whoever comes to power, they will have to complete the capital?Unlikely, since there is hardly any significant works going on there at the moment. And more important to AP than Amaravati is Polavaram.
It is the lifeline of the State and Chandrababu’s promise to complete it by 2019 is now impossible. Therefore, both YS Jagan and Pawan Kalyan should reach out to the people regarding these two crucial aspects.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has pooh-poohed the latest statement of Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come down on his knees and started appeasing the NDA partners and BJP veterans only because he was afraid of the aggressive stand taken by him (Naidu) in the recent past.Naidu claimed the other day that Modi had realised the strength of the TDP after the recent debacle in the Karnataka assembly elections.
“He has started talking to veterans like Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi only because of the tremors created in the BJP because of my revolt,” he said.Firebrand MLC of BJP Somu Veerraju ridiculed Naidu’s claims.“He doesn’t have so much scene. He has absolutely no comparison with a tall leader like Modi, who was the obvious choice of the people of the country for the PM post,” Veerraju said.
He wondered why Naidu was joining hands with a corrupt party like the Congress which had done gross injustice to Andhra Pradesh.“He is clearly heading towards the Congress party,” the BJP leader alleged.On Nava Nirmana Deeksha taken up by Naidu, Veerraju said the government was wasting over Rs 50 crore in the name of deeksha, which had no purpose.
The entire government came to a standstill because of Naidu’s meaningless programmes, he alleged.He said the BJP would stage a protest rally in Vijayawada on June 11 against Naidu’s vitriolic attack on the Centre and Narendra Modi.

She Wants Her Own Caravan And Costumer
Anupama Parameswaran has proved herself as a good actress and is one of the upcoming heroines in Tollywood.She currently has two films on hand: Sai Dharam Tej-Karunakaran’s I love you and Dil Raju’s film in the direction of Trinadha Rao Nakkina which has Ram as the hero.A caravan has turned out to be a bit of headache for the production team of Dil Raju and Anupama.
Normally, there are two types of caravans: Single door and double door. Double-door caravans have two rooms with a partition and are usually used by two people, hence the double-doors whereas a single door caravan is exclusive.Anupama was given a double-door caravan and she wanted an exclusive one. After repeated requests to the production team, instead of giving her the one she wanted, they arranged a bigger double-door caravan and this was not to her liking.
One of her personal staff tried to make her adjust to the double-door one but she got angry and gave him a mouthful. Hurt by this, that particular employee is said to have quit his job and left.Also, she does not want the services of the costumer provided by the production team and wants them to hire her own costumer.

Nani Charges Double to That of Nagarjuna?
Slowly and steadily, Natural Star Nani proved his worth and the success of his films at the box office is a testimony of that. Though his last outing didn’t fare well, still he’s the most consistent hero we have.
Currently working on his multi-starer movie where he teamed up with senior hero Nagarjuna, Nani is all set to host Big Boss season 2 as well alongside it. Coming to his multi-starrer being directed by Sriram Aditya, the hero is said to be charging double than what Nagarjuna is taking home.
While the makers are paying 4 crores to Nagarjuna for his part, Nani is said to be taking home 8 crores for his role. Surely Nani enjoys a bigger following among the youths and that might be the reason why he’s paid a double than his senior. And Nani will have a little bigger role in the movie than the Akkineni heir, they say.
Meanwhile, Nani hasn’t okayed any big films to work post this project as he wants to take a decision based on the result of that movie. His only commitment other than this multi-starrer is Big Boss 2.

Making his re-entry into films, Megastar Chiranjeevi proved that he could easily bring 100 crores share to the table.
And that puts more pressure on him to deliver “Sye Raa” to the biggest level because fans expect this film to make more than what Khaidi No. 150 did at the box office.
