One of the big names in Tollywood right now is none other than ‘Myhtri Movie Makers’. After roaring without a break with three back to back big blockbusters in the form of Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Rangasthalam, for the first time this production house is getting ready to cross their first ever speed breaker.
Savyasachi and Amar Akbar Antony are the two upcoming films of Mythri, which are getting ready to hit the marquee in November month only. These two movies are in production pipeline from a long time and none of the heroes of these two films are in-form at the moment. While Raviteja is to break the jinx of his flops, same is the case with Naga Chaitanya.
When it comes to some big production houses in Tollywood, we have the likes of RR Makers and 14 Reels starting on a high note, but their ships came crashing after few flops. These production houses are also known for investing more than needed for films featuring big stars and that is the reason they sank without trace after few flops, which are cost failures.
In the case of Mythri, the producers are said to be carefully planning everything, so they have to score at least above average marks with these two movies, such that their image won’t get scratched. Let’s see what happens.
RX100 Beauty Gets Call From Mass Hero
Despite the fact that runaway hit RX100 was released a couple of months ago, the heroine of the movie Payal Rajput who has scorched the silver screen with her hot looks could not grab any big offer. Though she is getting many, she’s said to be rejecting them all for a golden chance.
It looks like finally, she got such chance as she got a big hero in the pipeline now. In the upcoming film of Mass star Raviteja, which is being directed by VI Anand, there are three heroines romancing our senior hero. Already Nabha Natesh is picked up as one of those leading ladies and now the unit has signed Payal Rajput as well, says a source.
Though Raviteja felt shortage of heroines a while ago, suddenly it looks like his graph took a surge due to the number of films he is doing again, and he got two sensational hotties on board now. If this film clicks, then both Nabha and Payal will be settling in Tollywood as happening heroines for a couple of years.
Needless to say, director VI Anand’s intelligent films got appreciation but his previous flick Okka Kshanam didn’t work out. And this new film should give break to not only his casting but to himself as well.
Ranbir, Alia To Marry in 2019?
It’s a season of weddings in Bollywood. While Priyanka Chopra is all set to wed her beau Nick Jonas on Dec 2 at Jodhpur (Rajasthan) with Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies on 30th Nov & 1st Dec respectively, another Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone will be tying the knot with boyfriend Ranveer Singh on Nov 14 and Nov 15 at Italy’s Lake Como which will be attended by close friends, family.
However, Deepika and Ranveer are planning to hold two grand reception bashes – one in Bengaluru for Deepika’s friends,relatives on 21st Nov and other one in Mumbai for the couple’s colleagues from film industry on 28th Nov. These two big fat weddings have perfectly set the wedding mood in Hindi film industry.
Now, reports are rife that another Bollywood love couple is all set to tie the knot and get settled. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly planning to enter into wedlock. Reports say that the couple could marry in 2019.
Alia and Ranbir are seeing each other. While speculations gained strength after the couple made a grand entry at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding in May 2018, Alia has recently admitted her relationship with Ranbir openly on a TV show. On the other hand, Alia has been welcomed by Kapoor’s family. Apart from Ranbir, Ranbir’s mother, sister, parents and entire Kapoor Khandan has loved Alia. With this, it’s clear that it is all set for Alia and Ranbir’s wedding. However, the wedding date would be discussed and finalized once Rishi Kapoor is recovered.
Earlier Ranbir had broken up with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. While Katrina was not welcomed by Ranbir’s family, Alia has got the approval of Kapoor clan.
No Clarity on Savyasachi Director’s Next
Chandoo Mondeti is one of the promising young directors in Tollywood. He has proved his mettle with his two movies — “Karthikeya” and “Premam”.The success of those two movies have made Mythri Movie Makers to invest heavily in “Savyasachi” starring Naga Chaitanya, though the star has not delivered a hit with an action flick so far.
As Naga Chaitanya told at the audio event, the producers have put in money beyond the range of Naga Chaitanya’s current market since they have faith in Chandoo’s subject and his talent. Still, the young director didn’t get confirmation from any other star for the next film.
When asked about his next films, Chandoo Mondeti has informed media that he hasn’t got any star’s consent yet.“I have to do a sequel to Karthikeya and have also readied a script for my favourite star Nagarjuna. But they can only be finalized after the release of Savyasachi,” he said.
If this film becomes a big hit, then the stars would dole out their dates without hesitation. Or he would have to convince them hard. So, Chandoo is very anxious dates to “Savyasachi”.
Indian Couple Falls 800 Feet In US’ Yosemite Park
NEW YORK: In a tragic incident, an Indian couple died after falling 800 feet in an area with steep terrain in California’s Yosemite National Park this week, according to a media report.Vishnu Viswanath, 29, and Meenakshi Moorthy, 30, fell to their deaths from Taft Point in Yosemite National Park. They were identified on Monday as a married couple from India living in the United States, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The report said that the couple had recently moved from New York after Vishnu Viswanath took a job as a systems engineer at Cisco, based in San Jose. Together, they chronicled their adventures of travelling around the world in a blog called ‘Holidays and HappilyEverAfters’.Rangers recovered their bodies on the steep terrain on Thursday below Taft Point, a popular tourist spot that offers spectacular views of the Yosemite Valley, Yosemite Falls, and El Capitan. Visitors had spotted the bodies a day earlier.
Park spokesman Jamie Richards was quoted as saying in the report that “We still do not know what caused them to fall. We’re trying to understand what happened. We may never know, (but) from everything we see, this was a tragic fall.”Investigators were looking into how the couple fell or what had occurred when the accident happened at the famous spot which is a favourite place for tourists from around the world to take scenic and memorable photos.
Earlier, the National Park Service had said in a statement that the recovery operation for a male and female visitor who had died in the fall from Taft Point was completed on the afternoon of October 25. The department said the two people fell approximately 800 feet below Taft Point in an area with very steep terrain.
This recovery operation involved Park Rangers using technical climbing and rappelling techniques, in addition to helicopter support from the California Highway Patrol for a short-haul operation.The report added that the couple had been married since 2014 and both were software engineers. On the cover of Vishnu Viswanath’s Facebook page is a picture of the two of them smiling on the edge of a cliff at the Grand Canyon.
In a Facebook post, College of Engineering, Chengannur said the two were its alumni and added that it deeply mourns their “accidental demise”. The college said Vishnu Viswanath and Meenakshi Moorthy belonged to the BTech 2006-10 Computer Science and Engineering batch.”Our hearts go to the friends and family members of this lovely couple. May their souls rest in peace,” the college said.
Raj Katta, 24, of New York, said he got to know both of them while attending Bradley University, in Illinois. He said Vishnu Viswanath was a “thoughtful and amazing guy, very talented. They are a really happy couple. Very positive.”Mr Katta described Meenakshi Moorthy as extremely positive and enthusiastic. “She’s one of those girls who wants to explore the world and discover a deeper meaning in life.”
He said in the report that Vishnu and Meenakshi had decided six months ago that he would take the job at Cisco and they would live in California for a year or so.

Except for replacing the word ‘Andhra Pradesh’ with Telangana on the nameplates of government offices and erecting one signboard saying Bathukamma Ghat on Tank Bund, there is nothing positive that has accrued to the people of Telangana.The efficiency of the TRS government can well be gauged by the fact that swine flu deaths continue to occur at an alarming rate and when it rains in Hyderabad, they just don’t know how to deal with it.
At all public meetings, the TRS leaders led by KCR and KTR are mouthing the same dialogues they parroted in 2014: anti-Andhra sentiment rather than any significant upheaval in the lives of the common people because of decisions they took.Despite being the Party that gave Telangana, Congress has been unable to find a strong person who can give the perfect repartee to KCR.
And that is likely to help the Pink gang once again.
Sania Mirza, Shoaib Malik blessed with a baby boy
Hyderabad: Tennis star Sania Mirza and her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Malik were blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday.Sania delivered the child early Tuesday morning, here and both mother and child were well.
Shoaib tweeted: “Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled #BabyMirzaMalik.”
Sania married Shoaib in a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim wedding ceremony on April 12, 2010.
What About Left Parties, Mr Pawan?
The latest statement from Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan that his party would not have electoral understanding with any other party in the coming assembly and Lok Sabha elections left the Left parties in tizzy.In his twitter message, Pawan categorically declared that Jana Sena did not need the support or alliance of any other party.
“We have enough strength and popular support. We shall display our tremendous force (in the coming elections),” he said.Now, that has left the Communist parties – CPI and the CPI (M) – in a state of confusion.All these days, they had been hoping that they would have an alliance with Jana Sena and would be allotted some seats in the next elections, so that they could retain their identity at least to some extent.
They have been extending all kinds of support to Jana Sena, including organising rallies and arranging crowds to his meetings etc. Even Pawan told them that his party would work together with the Left parties.However, after seeing the crowds to his meetings and rallies and the number of big leaders joining Jana Sena, Pawan seems to have thought his party can win the elections easily on his own with a big margin and therefore, he did not need any support.
So, he did not utter a word about the Left parties while issuing the statement that his party had enough strength to show in the next elections.A section of leaders close to Pawan said he might have issued a statement keeping in view the speculations doing rounds about his party’s possible alliance with the YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
He was upset with the reports that both the parties had even struck a secret deal on seat sharing.
“His statement was only deny these speculations. Jana Sena is still a friendly party of the Left. The issue of seat sharing and alliance even with the Left has not been discussed at this stage,” a Jana Sena Party activist said.
Shakeela To Make Cameo In Her Biopic
A biopic on southern film industry’s adult film star Shakeela will see her play a cameo.Director Indrajit Lankesh is helming the movie, which stars Richa Chadha in the role of Shakeela, who was popular in southern showbiz in the 1990s and continues to work even today.
Before commencing the film’s shooting, Richa had a rendezvous with Shakeela in Bengaluru to understand the nuances. Seeing the camaraderie between both the actors and also to honour Shakeela’s popularity, Lankesh roped in the real Shakeela for a cameo in the film.
Lankesh said in a statement: “I always wanted to make a film on Shakeela. I was immensely impressed with her on-screen and off screen personality.”I wanted to portray her story, the hardships and rough phase when she was not getting films and was trying for character roles. I wanted to show the true story behind the superstar Shakeela.”
He said Shakeela has been an integral part of the making of the movie as she gave the team detailed insights into her life.”Even Richa got to spend time with her, understand her style of talking, her body language and such nuances. In fact, when she came on set, she gave us very interesting insights like about our art direction and how her house was and is in real life,” Lankesh added.
He said it was nice to shoot Shakeela for the biopic, though this is not the first time he has worked with her.”I have shot with her in the past for another film of mine in 2003. That sparked an interest in me to make a film on her and in 2015 after conceiving the idea of making a film on her, I met her and realised my dream.
“I feel every woman and girl who wants to be an actress should see her story, to know what she went through to become an actress and how it was such a compelling rags to riches to rags story of her life.”
Behind The Scene: Kammas not to vote for TRS
On Monday, a meeting of prominent Kammas was held at Kukatpally and Serilingampally and the community arrived at a decision not to vote for or support the TRS Party in any way.At the meeting, the Kammas came to the conclusion that if the TRS came to power again, KCR would support YS Jagan and Pawan Kalyan in Andhra Pradesh and it was absolutely essential therefore to keep him out of power.
The meeting comes in the backdrop of KTR’s recent visit to Kukatpally where he said that the TRS would welcome either the YSRCP or the Jana Sena if they came to power.KTR had said that Chandrababu was a huge stumbling block to the progress of Telangana and had written many letters to the Union Ministry complaining about the irrigation projects taken up by Telangana.
The Kamma meeting was also attended by Nandamuri Balakrishna who is campaigning for the TDP in Telangana.
In the past, when a notice was sent to Balakrishna regarding irregularities in the construction of Basavatharakam Indo-American Cancer Institute, Balakrishna visited KCR personally who obliged him by regularizing the construction.
It will be interesting to see how KCR deals with Balayya now.
Ram Charan Prefers Rajamouli Over Boyapati!
Rajamouli has made changes to his earlier plans and is now all set to commence the shoot of “RRR” immediately after Deepavali festival.All arrangements for the regular shoot of this mammoth movie have been done. Huge sets at Aluminum factory in Kondapur have been erected.
It is already known that NTR will be joining the shoot from the day one in the first schedule. He has been working on his body with the help of his physical trainer.What about Ram Charan who shares screen space with NTR Jr in this multi-starrer?
Reliable sources have informed GreatAndhra.com that Ram Charan has informed Rajamouli that he would be joining the regular shoot of this movie in the very first schedule of this movie if he asks him to do so.He will be adjusting dates of his current movie that is being directed by Boyapati. For Ram Charan, Rajamouli’s movie is more important than anything else.
Boyapati’s film is yet to wrap up the entire shoot but Charan is willing to shoot stop Boyapati’s shoot for some days to join ‘RRR’ for few days.
Rajamouli will be taking final call shortly.
