Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s rumor mill is always churning. Just like his past relationships with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, the actor is rumored to be dating the very-famous Alia Bhatt who in-the-past confessed her liking for him publicly.

In the recent past, both the award-winning actors were all over tabloids for hanging out in parties, events, restaurants and they seemed to be enjoying each other’s company. However, they rubbished such speculations and mentioned they’re bonding well as co-stars only for the promotion of their upcoming Bollywood outing – Brahmastra, a superhero fantasy film under the direction of Ayan Mukerji which marks the first collaboration of Alia and Ranbir Kapoor.

Adding weight to the dating rumors, Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor has on Tuesday thanked Butt family in a tweet and it’s totally out of the blue. ‘Have worked with most of the talented Bhatt family (and relatives). By referring to Butt family as relatives, was Rishi giving us a hint of nuptial between Ranbir and Alia? -this could be a big indicator but we’re not sure. The tweet has not just attracted the attention of their fans on social media but also brought in some interesting comments like ‘So now you are confirming you are ready to see Alia Bhatt as Alia Kapoor’.

After his split with Deepika and Katrina, the Barfi boy has been staying single and he insists that he still is a good friend of both the star heroines. Alia, on other hand, was formerly linked with Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and others. Are they (Ranbir and Alia) really good friends or something more? Either way, we are here to report you.

#RRR Records : Charan Avoids Controversy

#RRR is the upcoming film featuring Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Rama Rao as a team. With a star mega hero and star Nandamuri hero joining hands for the first time, the buzz around the film gets strong for sure. Whole India will look to this film’s trailer as Baahubali director is helming it. Here is an interesting snippet.

Other day Ram Charan commented that he will ask the producers of his next films to not put any numbers on posters such that it will not lead to unnecessary discussions and controversies. That said, he has carefully laid a foundation to make #RRR free of controversies. Yes, tomorrow if #RRR also puts up numbers on posters, imagine what happens.

Hero worshipping fans surely wear swords and daggers to fight with other fans claiming that their hero’s presence got such high collections for the film. Simply saying, arguments and fights will happen, as to which hero among Charan and NTR helped #RRR to get such high collections. And if producers don’t reveal any numbers officially on posters, then the scope for such fights will be very less. Probably Charan’s other day comments are made keeping in view of the near future.

11-Yr-Old Girl Raped By 5 Minor Boys for 3 Months In AP

Even before one come to the terms with the ghastly incidents in Dachepalli of Andhra Pradesh and other recent crimes against minor girls in Kathua, Unnao, here is yet another heinous act reported in Punganur of Chittoor district. A 11-year-old girl was brutally gangraped by 5 minor boys for the past three months and the incident came to light only recently when the girl’s mother observed major changes in daughter.

Going into details, one of the five culprits, a 14-yr-old boy had first lured the girl with money and took her to a deserted place where he allegedly raped her. After that, the boy blackmailed the girl threatened that he would tell this to “all” and called her to the place second time. Fearing that he would tell others of she doesn’t turn up, she went where she was sexually assaulted by the first culprit and four other friends. Allegedly this had continued for the last three months until the girl’s mother observed change in her.

Victim’s family and relatives lodged a police complaint on Wednesday night but police allegedly didn’t took up the case. Victim’s family then took the girl to the government hospital for medical tests which proved rape allegations. Angry residents then thrashed the culprits. During this, cops entered the scene. While the condition of the two of the four culprits is serious and admitted to hospital, two others were taken into police custody. Meanwhile, the other culprit is on run and cops are looking out for his whereabouts.

Holidaying in Spain as we discuss here his next film, Superstar Mahesh is making sure that his next film will satisfy some unattended cravings of his fans. As he’s coming up with Vamsi Paidipally’s movie, which also happens to be his 25th film, here is the motto he’ said to have taken.

After taking oath as Chief Minister Bharat, Mahesh Babu has the fourth time in a row took a class to audiences and delivered lectures on various social stuff. His recent films including Srimanthudu, Brahmotsavam, Spyder and Bharat Anu Nenu belong to the same genre- class taking genre.

While he spoke about rich people adopting villages in Srimanthudu, his Brahmotsavam dealt with family feuds and need to connect with roots of a family. Blast in Indian Restaurant in Canada, 15 Injured

In a major blast in Indian restaurant in Canada’s Ontario province, 15 people were reportedly injured. Among 15 injured, 3 persons said to have suffered “critical blast injuries” and rushed to a Toronto trauma centre, confirmed reports from Canada. The remaining 12 victims suffered minor and superficial injuries. However, the police has not given details about how many people were inside the restaurant at the time of the blast or where the explosion originated.

The incident took place at the Bombay Bhel restaurant located in the area of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue East at around 10.30 PM on Thursday. Two suspects were behind the blast, said local cops.

A search operation has been launched for two male suspects who detonated the device inside the Bombay Bhel restaurant and fled the scene immediately after the blast. According to the police, one suspect was described as a tall, stockily-built male in his mid-20s. The second suspect is a thinly-built male with fair skin, wearing faded blue jeans, a dark hoodie pulled over his head along with a grey T-shirt and dark skate shoes.

Nela Ticket Movie Review

Raviteja playing to the galleries with mass appealing title like Nela Ticket should offer enough entertainment for the audience to be a passable entertainer. But Kalyan Krishna somehow managed to make a movie that is unbearable and utterly boring from the word go. Even energetic Raviteja couldn’t do much to save this from being a dud.

Story :

Raviteja is an orphan who yearns to have a family. He helps and goes to any extent for people who come to him for help. An evil politician Aditya Bhupati (Jagapathi Babu) uses his power to suppress the dreams of many. He even kills his father (Sarath Babu) for the sake of wealth. While Aditya aims to become Chief Minister of the state, Raviteja who has a strong reason to oppose him confronts him and the tug of war between them begins.

Performances:

Raviteja’s looks and styling are similar to his previous two films Raja The Great and Touch Chesi Chudu. A lean physique and photo shop are unable to hide his age. His performance has become monotonous and the characterization turns out weak. Raviteja’s trademark energy also has been missing throughout the film. Malvika Sharma is too young to play Raviteja’s love interest. She looked like a teenager beside him. Malvika’s glamour show might please Nela Ticket audience, but her limited acting skills have been exposed in many scenes.

Jagapathi Babu is also getting monotonous with his villain characters. His stylish looks and powerful screen presence aren’t able to cover the flaws in his characterization. Comedians like Posani, Brahmanandam, Prudhvi, Jayaprakash Reddy, Praveen and Priyadarshi are present but none of them could make us laugh. Even reliable Brahmaji and experienced Subbaraju, Shivaji Raja have come up with cringe worthy performances.

Technicalities:

Kalyan Krishna Kurasala who scored back to back hits with Soggade Chinni Nayana and Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam has written an outdated story for Nela Ticket. He couldn’t even write an interesting characterization for Raviteja and as a result the movie turned out to be a marathon bore. Kalyan Krishna’s narration and direction also seemed dated for a 2018 film.

Shaktikanth Karthik who did a commendable job for Fidaa has failed to repeat the magic this time. None of the songs are catchy and the background score is unimpressive. Cinematography is fine. The camera work in capturing the chase sequences stands out. There is so much footage that could have been easily edited out of the final cut. Production values are good.

Analysis:

Nela Ticket doesn’t take much time to make the audience rue their decision to watch it. It’s a total dud from the word go. Films that seem real and natural are being lapped up by the audience now. People are no longer watching so called commercial films with artificiality embossed all over. Nothing about Nela Ticket seems real and heartfelt although it has a familiar theme ‘good vs evil’. Drama is staged and the emotions are forced that it fails to tug the heartstrings. The protagonist trying to see family in everyone turns out to be a tacky affair with nonsensical scenes.

The biggest problem of Nela Ticket lies in its script. The storyline itself is an outdated one and the director makes it in eighties style with a song-cut to-scene-cut to-fight template. There is so much effort put into the comedy department, but sadly the humor also turns out to be stale. First half of the film runs on and on without any content. The actual plotline is revealed only during the interval scene and it is so elaborate that it almost gives away everything that is going to be seen in the second half.

Intermission episodes generally raise hopes on the second half, but Nela Ticket does a favor by not raising any such false hopes. There is not a single twist that excites or makes the dozing audience attentive. It runs on a flat note from the beginning to end. There are many lows but not a single high in the entire movie, which is a terrible sign for a mass masala movie. The emotional interactions between the characters are laughable and the actors going overboard only worsened the effect.

Even flop films of Raviteja are entertaining to an extent because of his energy, but in Nela Ticket he remains to be a mere spectator. His screen presence and funny interactions with friends and the female lead are okay but never lifts the spirits. The title itself is a poor attempt at grabbing the attention of masses. There is no relevance to hero’s character in spite of numerous references to it. All in all, Nela Ticket is a film that is not worth your ticket. It will go down as another forgettable film for Raviteja who suffered a big flop at the beginning of this year.

Verdict: Outdated!

Mass Raja To Replace Bunny And Charan’s Roles

That’s one beautiful script. And the director felt that it will be hailed as a multi-starrer of the decade (by that time #RRR was not announced) if two mega heroes feature in it. After narrating the story to Allu Arjun, the director thought that he will rope in Ram Charan for the other role. Here comes the twist.

All said and done, we can’t believe which hero picks up which film until the project really goes to floors. From a time, director VI Anand is said to be trying to impress Allu Arjun with his scripts. Had “Okka Kshanam” of Allu Sirish turned into a blockbuster, the Stylish Star would have started a film with him already. But the flop show of that film is making him little concerned.

Buzz has that the multi-starrer story narrated by Anand is not getting a nod from Allu Arjun. And that puts the dream of the director to rope in Bunny and Charan for the same film in a rack. But when he narrated the same story to Raviteja, the mass hero got pretty excited about it. An insider revealed that Mass Raja wants to do both the roles himself and make this his celebrated double action film.

In case if Anand really impresses Ravi with the final version, then we will see him in a double action bonanza soon. When quizzed about this film recently, Raviteja, however, told that an announcement will come if things work out for real.

Hero Stops Wife’s Film From Releasing

A film was started three years ago amidst big controversy. The posters were released and there was a big uproar both from women organizations and also from the family of an actress whose original name was used as the title of the film. The film received a C Grade appeal initially.

The theme was all about how a young boy of 13 years old gets attracted to a good looking newly married neighbor. The line also received flak from open society though many awaited the release of it.

A new actress was picked up by the producer to do the lead role and the project was given to a debutante director. A well known actor played the male lead. But the director crossed the limits of the script and started shooting unwanted scenes wasting the time and resources. Lack of experience and indiscipline of the director resulted in his ousting and the hero himself took the responsibility of directing the film. In the process, he loved the actress and both of them got married.

The film was also completed and the producer was also happy with the final product. Inside sources say that the film came out well. But the hero is not handing over the first copy of the film to the producer completing the required post production work. He has been saying that some tweaks are yet to be made to finalize.

Everybody is clueless why the hero is not letting the film release when the content also has no problem. Off the record, the sources are saying that the hero is too possessive about his wife to let the film out for release.

Summer Waiting For Burning Star

Long back when Rajamouli shared the poster of “Burning Star” Sampoornesh Babu’s Hrudaya Kaleyam on his social media page, this new star went viral in no time. Though he didn’t have any big successes to his credit, his crazy antics when it comes to films have made Sampoo a widely discussed celebrity.

Other day he has come up with a poster of “Kobbari Matta” where it is written that the film will collect 233+ crores ‘gross’ in its first week. In the wake of films like Bharat Anu Nenu and Naa Peru Surya boasting a lot with their fake figures on posters, which read 100 crores and 200 crores, it looks like Sampoo’s posters are a satire on all those biggies.

And then Sampoornesh Babu has come up with a new teaser of Kobbari Matta wherein he’s seen uttering a 2-minute-long dialogue in a single take without taking the breath in between. The dialogue is both a satire and also a praise on all women. These punches are quite hilarious as twitterati is enjoying them.

But the irony is that Kobbari Matta was supposed to release in 2016 but the film is struggling since then to come out of the closet and do hungama in theatres. Sampoo is expecting that the film will release this Summer but with the season ending in just two more weeks, we have to see how far he will succeed.

#FederalFront: What’s Next, KCR?

After taking quite aggressive stand against Narendra Modi and distancing from BJP, KCR has initiated anti-BJP and anti-Congress political force – called as Federal Front. KCR met several prominent leaders ranging from Mamata Banerjee to HD Deve Gowda to Stalin, Karunanidhi.

The Karnataka result where JD(S) collaborated with Congress to form the government is seen as a big disappointment to KCR personally. Since Congress is KCR’s arch rival in Telangana with whom he is politically fighting, his plans to form non-Congress and non-BJP Third Front may now become a distant dream. Since all opposite forces to Modi, including Congress, may unite to defeat Modi in 2019, this may become detrimental to KCR’s idea of non-Congress and non-BJP front.

Meanwhile, already KCR has had enough bad experiences regarding Federal Front. Be the meeting with Mamata Banerjee or the attempt to meet Navin Patnaik, they had turned into bad experiences for KCR.

Flashback

During the meet with Mamata then, Mamata had reportedly questioned KCR that why is he not backing TDP’s No Confidence Motion against Modi and why is he not meeting Chandrababu Naidu who is waging battle against Modi and has great significance in national politics. If this is not enough, a section of reports claimed that Mamata had called KCR to appreciate him for his proposal on Third Front which was denied by Mamata’s office which clarified that it was KCR who called on Mamata to talk about alternate politics

On the other hand, Navin Patnaik too dropped a bomb when reports emerged that KCR’s office indicated that Naveen would like to meet KCR in first week of May to discuss politics.

An earlier press release from KCR’s team had stated then, “CM K Chandrashekhar Rao will meet Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik in the first week of May. This meeting is taking place as part of KCR’s efforts to bring in a qualitative change in the country’s politics. Since Odisha legislature is in session now, Navin Patnaik has invited KCR to meet him in the first week of May. For this KCR had agreed.” This had allegedly not gone down well with Naveen Patnaik who later denied.

“As far as I know, Telangana Chief Minister is going on pilgrimage to Puri. On the way he is paying a courtesy call; there is no discussion on federal front or anything to do with politics,” Naveen Patnaik had clarified then.

Cut To Present

Looks like, KCR has dropped plans to meet Naveen Patnaik after this. In between, the outcome of Karnataka is likely to force KCR to rethink on his plans of Federal Front. As Congress befriended Mamata, Mayawati, Akhilesh, Tejaswi Yadav and others, looks like non-Congress Front may be a difficult one.

Only Option

The only option left in front of KCR is to befriend BJP and Narendra Modi. In order to have say at Centre and to gain something for Telangana state, KCR must have to forge partnership with any national party. As he missed the bus of Federal Front, the only option left for KCR is to develop friendship with BJP and to join NDA. But the moot question is will BJP trust KCR? Will Modi allow KCR?
