RGV Not to be Taken Seriously: Ravi Teja
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is frank and open-minded in answering all queries related to his profession and personal life. The 50-year-old actor also implied that Ram Gopal Varma’s tweets should not be taken seriously.
Ravi Teja’s quite honest answers surprised the media persons. He was talking to media promoting his latest release ‘Nela Ticket’.
He agrees that his previous movie ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ sank without trace, but he is quite sure that previous flops don’t affect the prospects of his upcoming movies. He is quite confident of his current release ‘Nela Ticket’.
However, it is his answer about RGV-Pawan Kalyan’s controversy that has become discussion point. Pawan Kalyan attended the event of ‘Nela Ticket’ recently and he was caught playing with threads of Ravi Teja’s torn jeans.
Posting this video on his Twitter handle, RGV said he wasn’t aware of ‘the other side’ of Pawan Kalyan.
When media persons brought up this topic, Ravi Teja said he doesn’t care what people think and what is written as Pawan Kalyan was doing it while they were cracking jokes. It was just camaraderie between two friends, he stressed.
If people write nonsense, I don’t respond, Ravi Teja said sternly implying he doesn’t take RGV much seriously.

Nithin Picks Another Director Of Pawan Kalyan
Not just an ordinary Pawan Kalyan fan, but he’s the one who could invite the matinee idol to his film functions. Also, he uses his references inside the song, remixes of his songs and gets titles for his films from Pawan’s songs’ lyrics. Yes, we are talking about Nithin only.
Some back to back disasters has stunned Nithin in the recent times including films like “LIE” and “Chal Mohan Ranga” that became utter flops. But he’s now looking forward to bouncing back big time with Dil Raju’s “Srinivasa Kalyanam” which is being carved by Satamanam Bhavati fame Satish Vegesna. And here comes another interesting film of this young hero.
Like we said already, he’s now grabbing a director of Pawan Kalyan. Reports have that he will work with Kishore Pardasany (Dolly) who has directed Pawan Kalyan in movies like Katamarayudu and Gopala Gopala. Earlier Nithin worked with Pawan’s directors like Puri Jagan, Karunakaran and Trivikram.
Well, whether it is Pawan’s song, lyric or director, everything lies in the content that is picked up. Let’s hope Nithin is striking the right chords now rather just looking at brand values.
KCR doesn’t want to share the dais with Them
It’s official. Telangana CM KCR, who also offered help to shelter JD(S) MLAs in Hyderabad to avoid the poaching by BJP, is not going to attend the swearing-in ceremony of his friend and Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy. While Telangana CMO confirmed that KCR wouldn’t attend the oath taking ceremony of Kumaraswamy citing his “important engagements” as the reason for missing the event, speculations are rife that KCR is skipping the do in order to avoid Congress leaders with whom he is fighting with in Telangana.
KCR doesn’t want to share the dais with his arch rivals from Congress and hence decided to skip the swearing-in event, said a source close to the development. However, KCR will go to Bengaluru on today evening and will personally meet and greet the new CM Kumaraswamy and his father HD Deve Gowda ahead of the swearing-in. After meeting the father-son duo, KCR would return to Hyderabad by tonight.
JD(S)-Congress combine would form the government and would go for the Confidence of Motion on Thursday (May 24).
Meanwhile, the heavyweights such as AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, former CMs of UP Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, RJD leader and ex Deputy CM of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav, actor Kamal Haasan, DMK leader MK Stalin would be gracing the do. It is buzzed that a united Opposition would be formed to take on Narendra Modi in 2019 polls.
Producer’s Wife To Contest On Janasena Ticket?
Whenever a new political party comes up, many newcomers with some solid financial background try their luck to bag tickets. Some succeed in getting tickets and will also go ahead winning the election, but few get disappointed. Looks like the arrival of Janasena party is leading to such things now again.
With Janasena president Pawan Kalyan himself confirming at “Nela Ticket” audio launch that he knows producer Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainment from a long back, the rumours that his NRI Businessman is funding Janasena’s activities have gained momentum. And here comes another buzz related to him.
While Ram is involved in various charity works and other activities, it’s heard that he will not be pursuing political ambitions straight. His wife Rajini Talluri looking forward to contesting from Khammam assembly constituency on Janasena ticket in 2019 general election. Though PK hasn’t announced about his plans to contest in Telangana, we hear that this producer wants him to debut in Telangana this way.
Earlier we heard about businessman and film producer PVP also trying for TDP ticket through Pawan Kalyan in the similar fashion during 2014 elections by funding Janasena’s meeting arrangements. But in the end, things didn’t go well. Let’s see what happens in the case of Nela Ticket producer.
Will They Buy Nela Ticket In USA?
Don’t say that there are only sofa tickets and balcony tickets right now with most multiplexes charging the same price from top row to bottom. Whether there are ‘Nela’ tickets or not, right now Mass Raja is coming up with a film that has the title “Nela Ticket”.
In most cities and towns, already ‘Nela Tickets’ are a thing of the past, but director Kalyan Krishna wants to show the power of that class through his latest film that has Ravi Teja in the lead. Forget the success of this film at two states’ box office, but what is going to happen in the USA is something we have to see.
Other than Rangasthalam, no big mass film has scored well at USA box office in the recent times. And with most of the audience being software engineers coming from middle class and upper-middle-class families, will they embrace this “Nela Ticket” with warmth? Raviteja’s recent disaster “Touch Chesi Choodu” made a meagre 45 lakhs collection from USA box office, while the film got sold for 2 crores. After that debacle, even audiences are in little confusion to catch up with this latest movie.
The word of mouth and reviews should be positively supporting “Nela Ticket” in order to make sure that the film turns huge hit at USA box office. Going by the trailer, the chances are pretty low, however, say trade analysts.
Puri Approaches Balayya to Bail Him Out?
Puri Jagannadh has incurred more than Rs 12 Cr loss from his previous film that launched his son Akash Puri as the lead hero. He sold off his Jubilee Hills house to make this film.
Despite employing the best technicians and putting in huge efforts, the film sank without trace.“Mehbooba” not only bombed, it also established that audiences are no longer queuing up to see his movies on his name. The openings were abysmally low.
To salvage his career, he has again approached Nandamuri Balakrishna to give him dates. Balayya promised that he’d do another film with Puri despite their previous collaboration “Paisa Vasool” failing at the box-office.
Balayya movies get good openings irrespective of director’s name. So, he wants a piggy ride on Balayya’s name to bounce back.
Pawan Keeps Options Open On Alliances!
Actor-turned-Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has sought to deny the reports that he has an understanding with YSR Congress party or any other party to contest the 2019 elections. At the same time, he did not rule out forming an alliance with “like-minded parties” before the elections.
Pawan spoke to The Hindu in Srikakulam from where he commenced his Jana Porta Yatra on Sunday.“The Jana Sena Party is not going to play any second fiddle to any party. It is going to emerge as a formidable force on its own soon,” he said.
Pawan reiterated that his party would contest all the 175 seats and he had already finalised candidates for 90 Assembly segments. He, however, did not rule out the possibility of forging alliance with like-minded parties before the elections.
“Our options will be open. We would think of coalition with other like-minded parties only three months before the elections. In fact, one month is sufficient to finalise seat sharing with allies,” he said.He said he would give utmost priority for capability to win and also for social justice.
“Caste equations and other so-called parameters will not be applied in the selection. We learnt many lessons in the Praja Rajyam Party which gave tickets to candidates with lack of experience and leadership qualities,” he said.
On the comments that he is still a novice in politics, Pawan said he had learnt a lot while working for Praja Rajyam Party, which had won 19 assembly seats in 2009.
“I can assure you that I will not indulge in deceptive politics like other parties. I promise human angle in every decision if the Jana Sena is voted to power,” he said.
Don’t Fix Release Date: Ram Charan
Ram Charan is in no hurry to have his next release immediately. Basking in the success of “Rangasthalam”, Ram Charan is planning his next movies with utmost care.
At present, he is acting under ‘mass movie’ specialist Boyapati Srinu for producer DVV Danayya. The film is progressing in Bangkok with both Charan and heroine Kiara Advani participating in the shoot.
At the current pace, the film is likely to be released during Dassera holidays. But Ram Charan has told producer Danayya not to announce the release date now as he wants to take a final call after two months.
He wants to fix the release date based on his father’s movie, as “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” starring Chiranjeevi in the title role is progressing in a slow manner.
The original plan to release the film is for Sankranthi 2019. If Charan is confident that “Sye Raa” will make it for Sankranthi, Charan will release his movie with Boyapati this September/October.
If “Sye Raa” gets postponed to summer 2019, then he will fix his movie for Sankranthi. This is the reason why Ram Charan has asked Danayya not to announce the date in a hurry.
Dawood Ibrahim Behind Sridevi’s Death?
Last week, ex-ACP of New Delhi Ved Bhushan made a few sensational allegations on the ‘mysterious’ death of legendary actress Sridevi. Ved said that Sridevi’s death was not due to accidental drowning, but it was a planned murder. Ved has been personally investigating Sridevi’s death case through his agency.
And now, in yet another startling revelation, Ved Bhushan has alleged that mafia lord Dawood Ibrahim could be behind Sridevi’s death. Ved alleged that Dawood has close contacts with the Dubai Prince’s family.
In more shocking revelations, Ved said that Dawood is the owner of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers where Sridevi had stayed and breathed her last. Ved also suspected that an insurance policy worth Rs 240 crores on Sridevi’s name could have led to her murder. The policy was allegedly taken in Oman and it could have been encashed only if Sridevi died in Dubai. Ved said that he will appeal to the Supreme Court, requesting Sridevi’s death case be reinvestigated.
Resigned YCP MPs Tensed. Here’s Why!
The YSR Congress Party MPs seem to be caught in a dilemma over their resignations. After they received a call from Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan who apparently asked them to take their resignations back in order to avoid unwanted by-elections now ahead of 2019 general election, the 5 MPs of YSRCP will soon be heading to New Delhi to discuss with the Speaker.
MPs – Avinash Reddy, Mithun Reddy, Varaprasad, YV Subba Reddy and Mekapati Raja Mohan Reddy, who have tendered their resignations during the budget session of the Parliament, have been summoned to Delhi. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan would like to talk to them before taking her next step.
Although YSRCP MPs are openly saying they’re not going to take their resignations back, inside buzz is that YCP MPs are worrying over the acceptance of their resignations as that would facilitate the by-polls in AP. Apparently, YCP MPs thought that the Speaker wouldn’t accept the resignations. But when they received a call from Speaker, they’re now said to be a worried lot and heading to Delhi hoping that she wouldn’t accept their resignations.
While TDP is already begun its preparations to face the by-polls, YCP MPs are also now said to be worrying as they’re not sure how this whole issue of their resignations would turn out. If the TDP wins or gains in the by-election, it is likely to have a telling effect in the 2019 general elections. The situation would favour YCP only when it win back all its 5 MPs which is not easy. Hence, YSRCP has its doubts over the by-polls and mulling over their resignations.
